The aircon was good, place was clean.

We were told we would get 2GB of WiFi free however there was no WiFi. When I asked reception they told me the system was probably overloaded and to try again later. I paid extra for a foldaway bed. This bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel the metal bars underneath. In the middle of the night I swapped over to the couch.

Roomy family unit ideal for our holiday

No response to request for repair of faulty toilet valve during our week stay. Black snake around our feet in pool area gave us a bit of a thrill.

Great location, the villas were very spacious and the pool was. amazing for the kids.

Being a self contained villa and especially being in there with kids there wasn’t a great range of utensils and cooking equipment and we didn’t get a tea towel and only 1 dishwashing tablet

We appreciated receiving a 3 bedroom villa when we had only booked a two bedroom, lovely to have extra room. Pool was really beautiful, kids loved. Also enjoyed the gym and games room.

I ordered iced chocolates by the pool one day. When they came they were literally chocolate flavoured milk so I asked the girl who made them if they were supposed to have ice cream and she said 'no'. My daughter then checked the menu and it clearly said it was supposed to have a scoop of ice cream so we had to follow up with her again and just got a scoop put in our glass because by that stage we had pretty much finished our drinks so that was disappointing.

The room was functional and comfortable. Pool was great, staff very friendly and accommodating. Even though there were lots of villa's it was very quiet and relaxing.

The room was a bit dated and could do with a bit of a refresh but was functional and comfortable. Little things like fans only working at full speed etc. There were no extraction fans in the laundry or bathrooms so having a shower meant the room got really steamy and everything got wet.

This property has the most amazing pool / restaurant area - it makes the whole stay. The pool is warm, very kid-friendly and beautiful. Lots of little places to set up and play without bothering other people or feeling like your children are imposing. The location is a little further from town if you wanted to walk in, but a short drive and great access to everything Port Douglas has to offer.

The townhouse itself is a little tired. We spent so little time there it didn't matter at all - just something to be aware of.

Great, quiet resort. We had apartment 167 which had an enclosed yard that opened out to the pool.....perfect for brunch or cocktails overlooking the kids swimming. The main pool is lovely, and a few minutes walk across the resort, which has the bar and restaurant. Would be handy to have car in Poet Douglas and there is plenty of parking near our section of the resort. We had friends with a car but also utilised the shuttle and the e-scooters. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, living, dining and kitchen downstairs, with 2nd bathroom and laundry. Perfect for a family. Kitchen was well stocked for being able to prepare own meals.

Nothing much....maybe a bigger TV and some more comfortable couches as they were standard rattan and not great for stretching out on. Small improvements but not necessary. We would stay again.

Wonderful place to stay. Without doubt the highlight of the resort is the large pool with lots of nooks to sit in and lounges plus the bar/restaurant right next to it with pool side service. There are numerous villas on site - all two story and spacious with two showers/toilets and an all important washing machine and dryer. Kitchen well equipped but be aware there is no full size over - only a small combined convection/microwave oven. Highly recommended for families.

The air con units worked well but are a little old and slightly noisy compared to the newer models available now. We were there in peak school holiday time but the place never felt crowded - in fact it was the opposite most of the time. There was some noise at night mostly from the villas that clearly have permanent residents in them and hence visitors and sound systems etc. But nothing too bad and they complied when we asked them to turn the volume down at 10:30pm.

the staff are amazing. Jodie the manager will work miracles to make your stay the best it can be. sadly Christine is leaving a young girl from Finland 🇫🇮 she made our stay amazing and we know she will do well wherever she goes and they will be lucky to have her. The lady chef helped with birthday decorations and along with Christine and Jodie made Monday nights dinner special We appreciated everything they did including staying back late

I liked the separate living , lounge kitchen downstairs with second bedroom then upstairs bedrooms plus a roomy bedroom

Pillows are old very flat I used 3 to equal a normal Hight, fans only worked on one setting very noisy in bed rooms
