A wonderful experience on every level. Such a great value and such fabulous hosts. You've got other property-owners up in Maleny & Montville trying to charge $800/night (or more) just to stay in a run-down Granny-flat with zero inclusions. Here in Bli Bli you feel like you've escaped to an opulent room somewhere in Tasmania, NZ or the UK... with generous touches of food and amenities throughout. Not to mention a PROPER hot breakfast! Brilliant. We'll be back.

Perfection. I just wish I took a fishing rod!!

This property is amazing! You will not be disappointed! Service, room, breakfast was beyond expectations. Merryl and Phil were amazing! Spent breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the Petrie Creek and listening to the numerous birds awakening to the day. Exceptional! If you are on holiday to the Sunshine Coast, do not miss this place, old world charm in a new world often forgotten , spend a couple days or a week, get a lifetime of memories!! 5 star plus in our book!!

I loved the serenity of the property, I loved the privacy whilst knowing the owners were close by in case I needed anything, and I loved the comfort and charm of my room. And then there was breakfast...perfectly cooked and super tasty continental fare with a delightful selection of fresh fruits and lovely home baked pastries! Just like on the farm. I wish I could've stayed longer to fully experience what Bli Bli house has to offer.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Absolutely perfect place to relax for our anniversary. Everything has been done with thought and care, from the bath salts by the spa to the jug of milk in the fridge and box of welcome chocolates, completed with fluffy robe and slippers. The attention to detail in the decor is exceptional. The venue retains its heritage charm, while providing the modern comforts such as pod coffee machine, microwave and DVD player all discreetly tucked away in the room. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of variety and served in the ambiance of the grand traditional dining room. The hosts have perfected their role, being friendly and hospitable while allowing absolute privacy to their guests. As a last get away before our first baby arrives in 5 weeks, our stay here went above and beyond all expectations.

My only regret is not allowing more time to enjoy the room and explore the surrounding grounds.

T'was truly a fantastic short get away. My husband and I loved everything in this house. The Victorian theme of the place really amazed us. We were extremely relaxed and enjoyed the breakfast to the max. Lots of delicious freebies for the guests, cookies , cakes. Coffee are bonus. Merryl and Phil, thank you very much. Your hospitality is just superb. We will definitely book again.

Everything. Very welcoming as soon as you enter. The place is absolutely stunning and it really transports you back to another era. The attention to detail is spot on. Absolute value for money. I've been travelling the world for 20yrs and seldom do you find old fashioned unpretentious, home-style hospitality. The owners are sweethearts :)

What an absolute delight this was. We had such a lovely night at Bli Bli House Riverside retreat. It felt very luxurious and I loved the style of the Victorian era. The owners are so kind and friendly. The bed was so comfortable with a large selection of pillows to choose from. The breakfast was delicious. We had an amazing stay. Wish we could or stayed longer. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Stunning place. Old world charm, breakfasts were a delight. Super relaxing place, love the Heritage Suite overlooking the river. Very peaceful and quiet. Have been before and will go again.

The rooms are air-conditioned. Can be a little warm in the summer months (like it has been everywhere!) in the sitting areas. We were okay with this as spent time in our room.

It is truly beautiful. A sight to see. The grounds, the rooms, the atmosphere. Amazing. Decorated absolutely beautifully. Very quiet and peaceful, if you’re looking for somewhere to lounge around and see the sights this is the place to be. Great location.

When we filled the bath and put the jets on the water went a murky brown colour, we hadn’t yet added anything to the bath so we assumed it was a cleanliness issue. There was a definite generational gap in the way the owners communicated, but I do not blame them for that at all. Millennials ideas of hospitality is inviting their friends over to watch a movie and not speak for 3 hours. They were happy and friendly and that’s the most important thing.

Beautiful Victorian furnishings with a rich history made it special. Loved the relaxing spa bath. The bed was soooo comfortable I wanted to take it with me I had a great night sleep. Breakfast was delicious and there was a great selections and the staff were lovely and friendly
