Marion Hotel

We were visiting adelaide to attend a conference which was at Flinders Uni (Tonsley). It was very convenient to reach there in the morning.and also the glenelg beach was not far. We could reach in 20mins after work to have a good time pass. The location was really good for us.

Nothing to mention much. Just we had one disturbance during our 3 day stay. The lift was scheduled for maintenance and was out of service for some couple of hours. Although its a once in a year activity i guess but if that would not fall during our stay there it would be so much pleasant experience,

the property is very clean. the staff were amazing very helpful and informative always greeted with a smile and just felt like a happy atmosphere. the room was great and the bed was the most comfortable bed ever! and I love the fact there was flyer letting us know where we can get a mattress like the ones there! definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Adelaide (we’ve stayed at a few) and will be staying each visit now.

We had a lovely cooked breakfast on one of the mornings, and an evening meal on the Sunday - which had to be at 5-00pm as they were booked out later on in the evening. Never mind, it worked out okay. The size of the meals was generous. Possibly need not have ordered garlic bread - as if you don't they will bring around bread rolls in any case. This was not explained to us at the time.

It would be nice for there to be staff to welcome you into the eateries, rather than wander around not knowing what sort of food each place had. A joint menu display would be appreciated.

Staff were amazing and went "above and beyond". Emergency trip to Adelaide to support a family member, arrived late at night , very tired after driving up from the country and sitting around hospitals all day. The chef had stayed past the end of his shift so that the steak - which I preordered - was not ruined sitting in a warmer. All staff were really helpful and kind. This was a great find for accoms in the southern suburbs and excellent value for the high quality of the rooms and general ambience. We would like to return in more peaceful circumstances

The atmosphere was divine as was the layout and those who chose to have Christmas with you all wow the tables were absolutely beautiful. The service was amazing even spoke with the bar tenders who were very friendly and down to earth. Concierge staff were very helpful and so lovely to engage. Would we stay at the Marion again "ABSOLUTELY" We have recommended your hotel to family members. We live in Sydney!!!!

We would not write anything negative about this hotel. Top notch in our books. Unfortunately we didn't take any photos what a shame

Very helpful staff.

Had to pay a bond in case of any damage, which I understand is very common these days. I did understand when I saw little things in the room obviously caused by less than thoughtful patrons, is for a fairly new hotel there were marks on the furniture caused by people putting hot mugs straight on furniture tops which although beautifully cleaned by the cleaner, you could still see. Perhaps if there had been some saucers or coasters provided, but then again I guess those sort of patrons might not have used anyway 😔

Spacious rooms and very comfy beds. Hospitality is above and beyond and staff are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for a solo traveler or if it’s just a staycation. Beautiful views regardless of the room and clean facilities.

I enjoyed the lamb entree from the room service menu. The room was large spacious and comfortable. The shower and bathroom were really nice and loved the dimmable lights. The blackout curtains were fantastic too. The staff were friendly and helpful and checking in and out was very straight forward and easy. Very quiet too.

I would of loved some more variety of non alcoholic drink options for the rooms. You could order bottles of beet and wine but had small and/or expensive soft drink/ juice options. As someone who doesn't partake in alcohol I would of loved more options.

I come from the country to Adelaide fairly often and I am always made welcome at the hotel and it feels like my home away from home now, thanks to the wonderful staff and all its excellent facilities.
