The room and view was great! The buffet breakfast was delicious, we looked forward to it every morning.

The pool was closed for renovations and no compensation was offered even though.

Beautiful view over Adelaide city. Hotel is on beachfront, cross one small road and youre on the beach. Very nearby lots of restaurants and walking distance to Coles too. Hotel offers an extra towel upon request for beach activities too. Minifridge in room. Other guests at the hotel seemed pretty friendly when you share the lift together.

The lounge reception area is quite dark and needs more light in there - it doesnt feel super inviting, but has a more vintage appeal I suppose. No complimentary snacks provided to room nor any complimentary tea comes with the room. Any food you take from the minifridge in your room gets deducted from a deposit amount you pay when you check in (seems a bit stingey). Also I didnt know that the pool was shut for refurbishment until after I had booked and paid online to stay at this hotel.

Our second stay here. We love the convenience of being so close to the beach and a shopping strip. All the staff are lovely. Alot of reviews say the hotel is looking old, however I find that part of the charm, kind of 20s art Deco. Enjoy the buffet breakfast!

Great location right on the beach and close to many cafes, restaurants and shops. Some nice little touches like for every day you opted out of getting your room serviced you received a $10 food & beverage credit - great incentive! Hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. Room was well equipped with amenities, air conditioning was so good, especially when the sun was streaming into the room in the afternoons! Great place to watch the fireworks on New Year’s Eve! Overall a very good place to stay, just a few wee things that could’ve been better.

The swimming pool area needs more sun loungers, there were only about 3 of them and they were often in use. Plenty of space for them, would be much nicer than having to lie on the hard concrete! Whilst it was handy having the car park building across the road it was a shame to have to pay $25 each day to park there. There were really no other free options nearby. I dined once at the Promenade restaurant and was disappointed in both the food and the service. I had the chicken and it was very bland. The presentation was very dull. It was only as I ate my last mouthful did someone come and check if everything was OK with the food. I guess I expected a lot more.

the view was nice and the free alcohol because of new years was also quite nice.

the fact there was no microwave, or toaster or anything to cook any food was a bit disappointing. the price of the room for the 2 nights was also outrageous

The venue itself was lovely. The staff were helpful and accommodating with questions and assistance. We couldn't stream to the TV to watch our streaming services without glitches, but it didn't bother us. Having a menu of options within the tv was really cool. We enjoyed resting in our room without noise from the outside world.

The only downside for us, was that the tv wasn't amazing... and that is quite a minor issue. There were some quality issues with the screen itself and we couldn't successfully connect our devices to stream without glitches. But that's not what we were there for.

The room was spacious, very clean and the view was excellent. Breakfast was cooked well and delicious. The fruit was full of flavour. I'm gluten intolerant, so it would have nice to have some gulten free bread.

The towels, although clean were a bit old and rough. I would have liked them to be soft and fluffy. Paying extra for a good barrister coffee was a shame but understandable. When the room was serviced I had hoped that more free bottled water would have been supplied. This was the only reason that I had my roomed serviced, otherwise I would have taken up your offer of $10 off purchased food and drink.

Right on waterfront although our room was looking at the urban jungle.

We had to wait an extra hour and half for our room. Said check in was 2 we got in at 3.30. We were offered a bottle of water as consolation. Weird.

The Concierge, Josh was fantastic. Couldn't help us enough.

Breakfast staff were unhelpful, unhappy in their jobs. Didn't look happy or smile, except for the lady who greeted us on arrival. Lack of gf/df options was annoying, especially for the price. Wasn't happy with check in when my family member arrived early and taking security deposit off her card then having to reverse it to my card. This left my family member financially disadvantaged as the funds couldn't be returned immediately!! I had pre paid this accommodation. I had also rang and advised of the early arrival of my family member I could have provided verbally my cc over the phone then manually provided an imprint on arrival. When I questioned the process, gentleman on reception was quite abrupt. He did however assist.

View and location was amazing. Staff were also very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was also good.. Had a lovely relaxing stay and after an extremely stressful and busy few months, I felt nice and relaxed by the end of our stay. Bar had a great atmosphere and perfect views whilst enjoying a drink. Bar staff were also very lovely.

I arrived very late at night, past midnight as flight was delayed. So we just fell into bed. I thought I had turned on the air conditioner but in the middle of the night woke up hot. So the first night I had a restless sleep and unfortunately woke up with a headache and very tired the next day. Later the 2nd night I noticed that I had to put my card in to get the air con to work. Maybe this needs to be more obvious for very tired late comers like me. Or the staff could mention at check in.
