Location exc. The garden was absolutely delightful - honeyeaters there every day. Bathroom terrific but wonder if there in Winter wld need extra heating as it's in a rear extension. Beds v comfortable.
House info booklet needed updating re places to eat locally - Thai place closed. Some locally produced jams for breakfast would have been a nice tough - Beerenberg does small one serve jars. The oven needed cleaning.

Loved the history and the period inclusions in the cottage. It was extremely comfortable. Some lovely inclusions and we especially enjoyed being able to light a fire. The cottage was an easy stroll to Angaston. We loved the location. Being able to sit in the beautiful garden for a cup of tea was special. Thank you Lydia.
Cottage was very dark which took some getting used to.

It was like staying in a museum with all the modern conveniences of today. The breakfast supplies were generous and delicious, and the added bonuses of chocolates, cookies and port were greatly appreciated. Lovely to have an open fire to curl up in front of on a cold night - the reverse cycle air - con was very efficient too. Lovely to have a washing machine and somewhere to hang it after 6 weeks on the road.
Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Cute period cottage in the heart of Angaston, located on a quiet street but within a few minutes' walk to all amenities including bar, restaurant, grocery shop plus a few specialty shops eg Barossa cheese company. Very well equipped, you don't need to take anything with you, it's like a home from home (shampoo, washing powder, condiments, you name it!) Breakfast basket was excellent with enough food for a cooked breakfast, also a bottle of wine, port and juices.
Nothing really.

The breakfast supplies were top shelf and plentiful, Lydia thought of everything. The treats everywhere were thoughtful and all locally sourced. The cottage is perfectly positioned close to the Main Street but very quiet. On arrival the heating was already on including the heated towel rail. The whole cottage had everything you would need on holiday.
On the first night we had a little problem with smoke from the open fire coming into the lounge.

Gorgeous cottage with absolutely everything you could need. All the little extras made it so special. The back verandah was the perfect spot for breakfast looking out over the garden, or an afternoon drink and nibbles.

Everything was as expected, the cottage is situated in a quiet street a couple of minutes walk to the shops in Angaston. We were very comfortable and really appreciated the lovely breakfast food that was left for us.
Pillows! Sorry, they were too hard for me.

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Period furnishings added to the charm. Fresh cut flowers throughout were wonderful! I loved the gardens and all the little pathways.

Location was central so we walked to restaurants which was good. Great range of breakfast provisions and little touches like chocolate coated apricots and biscuits. Not expected but very much appreciated.
All was good. Nothing we could fault
