Comfortable bed. Excellent hot water pressure

No free streaming services. Everywhere we have stayed in Tasmania from Air bnb to hotels offer free streaming services. Not even abc iview or sbs was available and they cost nothing. The hotel needs to kerp ip to speed with what others are offering in the same proce range

Breakfast was wonderful the staff very helpful and friendly Had to walk a while before you got to other places Swimming pool beautiful and clean enough towels to use and very clean Rooms very clean on arrival , bed very comfortable

Not close to any other restaurants and by the third night they had run out of a few things No bottled water in the rooms , even to purchase , not enough information when you arrive for things to do or avents that are going to be on , didn’t know it was as a public holiday only for Tassie, also had Chinese new year advent no one mentioned it. Had a o go out and source all info and didn’t really know where to go Room very tidy when arriving after that not even The bin got emptied.

I like the swimming pool sauna area which is a great addition to this hotel.

I feel that it’s not always good value. I’ve stayed twice but on my second stay I wanted an accessible room due to my disability. I was given a room that had a view of scaffolding next door and was dark and less welcoming. Whist I was moved to another room with a better view it was hard to organise and took several chats & negotiations and time to arrange. Also there is no room service and the restaurant offers Asian cuisine with nothing simple like Aus meals or vegetables etc. They offer a typical breakfast however but again no room service. Everything was very clean so that’s lovely.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was very neat and clean and warm and cosy and the best bed I've ever slept on. The pool was marvelous and had it all for myself at the time of my stay for the 2 hour swim I had in luxury and spent another hour in the sauna too! Which was also lush being 50 degrees as I love the heat. The first night I went downstairs to the restaurant and it was so stylish and artistic and authentic. The food was exceptional and delicious and was very reasonably priced. I have to say it was one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel and highly recommend it to all who comes to stay. I would be delighted to come back again. Very happy and Thankuou Ibis Styles hotel for this wonderful stay. Much appreciated. ☺️

I did however see an aggressive man abuse the staff while he was trying to get into the car park drunk..he should not have had access to the hotel and almost crashed his car into the front entrance. I made a statement to the police too and hope he has been charged for his offence

Location is perfect for your stay in Hobart. Walk to everything. I had a city/river View that was fantastic, during the day and the night! Rooms were very clean and roomy. staff was very friendly and accommodating, even when I forgot my toothbrush. This is a great place to stay when exploring Hobart, or in my case, using as a pre-/post stay for my hiking adventures in Tasmania. I will be back! I opted to get the breakfast included, and I'm glad I did. It's cooked in the downstairs restaurant. They have excellent coffee, and a very good selection for breakfast and they will even cook eggs to order. Great way to start the day!! also, the pool was fantastic to get up in the morning and do laps, it's also high enough to look over the city, and they have a gym there and sauna within the pool area, which was fantastic, a real bonus!

The pool and the gym were excellent facilities! The bed was comfortable, there was an iron and hairdryer, and Nessus Ari amenities.

The corners of the shower could have been cleaner. Also, very frustrated with take away breakfast options. If you wanted to eat something on the go, it had to be a danish and a piece of whole fruit. You could not get an English muffin and cut up fresh fruit or anything else from the continental options. That’s ridiculous! I don’t eat danish, and I didn’t want an apple. Some flexibility would go along way in customer satisfaction. What difference does it make to you? We’re still paying for it.

The Ibis Styles staff were very friendly and ensured we had an excellent stay, and especially Front Office Manager Puneet Saddi who gave suggestions on things to do in Hobart and introduced us to the delicious buffet breakfast. Our room was well equipped. Plenty of power points, WiFi throughout the hotel, incredible swimming pool and gym. Before visiting I looked at the location and it seemed "close" to the CBD and places of interest ... however, the scale of the map was not realistic and we found the hotel was only a block away from the CBD and short walks to museums, the waterfront, and Hop on-Hop off bus system (called "Red Decker" in Hobart).

We liked the bar/dining area and how they recognised who you were. The pool was a beautiful view of Hobart and relaxing. The two attendants at reception upon check out were professional and attentive.

The people in the foyer coughing and not attending to them with testing their temperature or RAT tests or offering them a mask. Have a clock inside the dining room so customers can monitor their departure time for airport/tours. It would be practical to have the meal lids lower or different arrangement to prevent hair getting in breakfast meal choices.

Location, having the good guy restaurant nearby for food and breakfast. Nice clean room, with fridge, they are alittle small but that was ok for me.Pool was great and a big selling point for me and many things to do nearby on the weekends.

No Microwave, i stayed in 3 rooms as the first 2 were noisy from outside noise,street and construction next door and the 3rd room was better higher up not facing the road, but having the guest room supplies 3 in total around me staff talking loudly and trolleys banging around my room coming and going did wake me up a few times quite early in the morning.I am a light sleeper and used earplugs as well but is to be expected being next to them.

Totally blew my expectations. It was soooo good. Fab pool and facilities. Really good buffet breakfast. Good bar and restaurant (Mr Good Guy) Super location. Minutes from everything. All the staff were amazing! I'll definitely recommend the Ibis Styles in Hobart to my friends.

The beds were so so so small! Twin singles (which is what we booked) but not long enough for my 6ft2 partner and barely wide enough to roll on your side without falling off. Cleaners had lingering bad body odour that remained in the room for over an hour after they left.
