The apartment was super comfortable and spacious. Location was very convenient and sound proofing was surprisingly good. I got a full bath which is always rare when staying at a hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful, room service was always impeccable and overall I felt very safe staying there on my own. Also very grateful to have a microwave + fridge + cooktop so I can make my own food.

I like to get fresh air in the room sometimes so I was worried about not being able to open the windows, but the room never felt stuffy and the a/c worked really well, so it didn't end up being an issue :)

Quest Hotel's location on Elizabeth Street is amazing. I stayed in a budget apartment in the annex located across the street. The reception service was nice and polite. Their proactive updates stood out, keeping passengers informed and minimizing inconvenience during travel disruptions. The apartment has all the amenities and more, including a hairdryer and iron.

You can see that the apartment is dated, used, shabby. The furniture is scratched, the paint is peeling off somewhere. Uneven floor surprised me. I had a constant problem with the handle in the bathroom to lock it. And my partner said that his sleep was uncomfortable on the sagging sofa.

The location was great, right in the centre of town - we were stating in the annex across the road from the main hotel. The kitchen was pretty good, and it was nice hearing the bells of the nearby clock tower chiming.

The shower was awkwardly small, and felt very cramped when the door was shut. Would have been nice to have some windows that could open to let in air - especially after cooking. The soundproofing wasn't amazing - on our last night it sounded like someone in the floors above was dropping bowling balls or other heavy objects all night.

Hotel was centrally located in the heart of Hobart. Walking distance to Woolworths, tourist information, bus and ferry terminals and restaurants. Having cooking facilities eg kettle, toaster & microwave made breakfast so much easier. Good hot water pressure and a good size hairdryer, not the travelling ones that some hotels have. Good cupboard and drawers storage for clothing and luggage

Nothing - everything was good. A shower cap would have been helpful, no bother, I went and bought one.

Great location. The apartment was central to town. Close to Wharf. Clean and great staff. The only reason I rated 9/10 not 10/10 is that the bed was not that comfortable and there are stairs to negotiate for anyone having difficulty with stairs. The staff are very responsive and helpful.

Not much! the bed was a little uncomfortable, however, I have received a message from them letting me know that they have replaced the bed after my feedback to them

Had the studio room which was lovely, had a little kitchenette and lounge area. Very clean. Very warm. Staff were so sweet and helpful. Day spa on the basement level. Fantastic location in CBD, mins walk to all the good tourist things. Lots of food options around. Pigeon Whole Bakery around the corner was my fave Brekky stop! Stop 3 from Air Bus if you’re wondering

I can’t think of anything. It’s not the showiest of accommodation but it was more than pleasant enough for me! I’d recommend staying here to anyone

We loved the location being so close to shopping and the harbour. Our room was generous in size. When we did make contact or visit reception the staff were so friendly and helpful. When it was time to leave the girls at reception organised our luggage storage and our taxi to the airport. Thank you very much.

There were loose floor boards in front of the shower so we were concerned the noise would be a bother to other rooms. We were in room 1 which was across the street from the main reception. Maybe the shower cubicle could have been bigger or maybe I should just lose weight.

Our room was in a self-catering apartment across the road from the hotel. It was perfect for our needs- quiet, walking distance to Hobart's attractions or the bus to take us to where we wanted to go. Close to Elizabeth St mall and a grocery shop. The staff were friendly and worked hard to make our stay happy. There was no lift in the apartment but we were happy to climb the stairs.

The room was large, comfortable and quiet (especially considering the central location). We were given very good instructions on how to find and access the hotel (several times), yet I still managed to get it wrong, so make sure you take careful note of what reception tells you. Communication from the staff prior to check in was outstanding, everything was explained very well (which is needed if you have never visited Hobart before). There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The markets and docks are within walking distance.

The parking facility is a block away. Given the central location of the apartments, this is to be expected. Also note that guests get a preferential rate and are afforded use of the reserved spaces at the carpark which is great.

Excellent location. Smack bang in the centre of Hobart with everything you need within walking distance. Friendly staff who were accommodating. Clean rooms.

No on site parking available at the hotel. Parking only available in public car park two blocks away for a discounted rate. We left both mornings early, before the reception had opened and therefore were unable to validate our parking ticket and had to pay full price ($20 per night). This is not the fault of the hotel / staff and should not negatively reflect on them.
