The staff were great, very accommodating and arranged for us to have access to the room even after arriving late for a late check-in. The room was light and comforting, had great facilities, and was all very clean. The location was beautiful, right across the road from the beach, and we could smell the beautiful fresh sea air whenever we opened the door.

The only criticisms we have are minor, the bed mattress felt very soft and lacked a bit of support, although it was very warm and cosy. There was a bit of a tripping hazard transitioning from the tiled bathroom to the carpeted main room which my wife tripped on several times.

Room was stocked with everything I needed including dishwashing liquid. Spacious and a very comfortable bed. Guest laundry was free to use and had a dryer. Secure parking right outside my room.

My room didn't look inviting from the outside and my window looked out to the carpark area for reception and the main thoroughfare going past the accommodation. I thought it would be quite noisy and uncomfortable to spend time in my room during the day, however this turned out to not be the case. The room had two types of curtains so the mesh one allowed me to see out and still feel like I had privacy.

The location was very close to all the amenities and attractions in the town. The host was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and tidy and looked new/renovated. Smart TV in the room had Netflix and other online platforms too so kept us entertained on those rainy days.

We stayed for 3 nights and the booking rates were too high for a small hotel like this. I can’t justify paying soo much for a night but I guess every hotel had their prices hiked due to Easter long weekend period. There was an outdoor pool but not heated so could not make any use of it in the chilly cold weather.

Look, for the amount I paid, I believe truly the value is more than the price by a decent margin. The room was very clean, both in appearance and in the smell and the crisp freshness of the linen etc. The staff made up our room daily as new, replete with biscuits and fresh towels etc. Honestly, can't fault the cleanliness, comfort and the location, being next to the shoreline. Good value for money.

I am probably more irratable than the average person, so I wouldn't take this too seriously, but I felt the sound proofing wasn't great when my neighbouring car and his family arrived - quite noisy and I could hear it from inside my closed room. However, the noise went away after they settled in and I was in tranquility once again. :-)

Great location to restaurants and eateries. As someone who worked in the Motel industry for 20 odd years I look at any accommodation through fussy eyes. The room was very clean and well equipped and the bathroom was spacious. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the linen was of excellent quality. We didn’t hear any street noise even though we were reasonably close to the street. The blockout blinds worked well and I have no complaints about this property. I would gladly stay again.

Perhaps a Continental Breakfast could have been offered if required.

Very clean, good linen, and recently updated, great check in with friendly staff. Older style but represented well in terms of value for money. loved all the extra’s like dishwashing liquid and milk in the fridge.

The rooms are large by any measure, The bed was King size. The bathroom had a spa as well as shower. The quality of the furniture and fittings was high and they were is excellent condition. The parking spots were generous with plenty of room between vehicles. The location was excellent with access to the main road and the lake as well as a rear entrance from the back road by the inlet. The cleanliness was 100% and the cleaners were polite and helpful.

Only that we had to leave after two nights to continue our journey home. But we will be back.

Love the 2 bedroom apartments. Perfect for a family with teenagers or if you have friends to travel with. Nice and warm, despite the chilly night. Balcony had an amazing view of the North Arm anytime of the day especially in the morning. Both bathrooms were fabulous, loved the makeup specific washer as well (not something most hotels give you). Coffee, tea, sugar and a tiny milk supplied for arrival (which is enough for a 1 night stay) Look forward to staying here again.

Would prefer Queen sized bed instead of double as my husband and i are fairly tall and it was a little to cramped for us.

Bed very comfy, room good size . Close to everything, we really loved our stay . I misplaced the room key 🔑, couldn't find it, but was not a problem ,the owner straight away gave us a replacement one ,but not long after found it ...will be back again, very happy 😀

Staff and location. Really thankful to staff who located some clothes we’d left in the cupboard and mailed them back to us.

All was great but forgot to alert you to a dripping tap in the room.
