Fantastic location, with great scenery at all the lookouts. Nearly walking path to the city centre, Kalima Lookout and along Kalima Jetty. Again, all with great scenery. Updated bathroom with very good hot-water supply. Basic but clean and comfortable, with available in-room amenities like a microwave, a small fridge, cutlery, etc. Situated along the main road but surprisingly very quiet because it faces away (towards the water). Value for money.

No soap-holder. Extremely weak (or non existent) Wi-fi. Need better signs for power supply/control in the room because they are all faded. Not enough milk for tea/coffee.

Extremely good value for money. Obviously an older style motel which has been upgraded and it was absolutely spotless which I was not expecting for that price and type of motel. Warm and comfortable and very quiet. There was some work going on nearby, but the walls must be quite thick because you really couldn’t hear them very much early in the morning. Lovely view if you walked across and had a look only a few steps. Definitely need transport, however it is up the hill out of lakes entrance but I had a car so no worries and I will absolutely stay again and recommending to friends

Hotel was clean and tidy, great position with views close by. Lots of easy parking for my car and boat trailer. Bed comfy and no external noise heard from traffic etc.

The lay out of Room 5 was awkward. I had to change the position of couch and single bed around so I could watch the TV from the lounge, and not be sitting on the bed. The hot and cold water in the shower kept alternating which was a little frustrating. To make this a better hotel, I suggest the management have an internal communal kitchen with stoves, microwave, sink and more importantly, a communal refrigerator where guests can store their bait, or the fish they may catch.

The rooms have been recently updated and painted. There was crisp white bedlinen and bed cover , not those ugly hotel patterned bed covers. Everything required for a short stay was provided. Great size television. The location is away from the centre of Lakes, but is an easy walk for those who like some exercise. There is a lakeside walk into town from the hotel as a scenic option. There is Hotel/pub with great food about 50 metres down the road, perfect as you don't have to drink and drive.

Bed was a little firm but we slept okay.

Good location, great size rooms and they upgraded our family from a quadruple room to two connecting rooms. The rooms had everything we needed for our short stay.

We found quite a few dead crickets next to the walls and windows near the entrance to the rooms. Apparently Lakes Entrance is having a cricket plague at the moment, and crickets try to come into the rooms no matter how clean they are kept. However, we felt like the staff could have warned us when we checked in, as our kids were a bit freaked out when we found the first few crickets right before bedtime.

Great price and location is fine. 5 minute drive into the main street. Nice views right at the lookout. Lady who checked me in was very friendly. Recently renovated bathroom and looked like newish carpet too. Room had a microwave and fridge, tea and coffee. Nice clean white linen. As it was $60 cheaper than anything else in Lakes Entrance, I wasnt expecting too much (which suited us as we spent the day with family who were caravanning and it was just a place to shower and sleep) so what we got was a pleasant surprise. However, if you dont have a car, rather stay down in town...

Location, Close to the TAFE SEAMEC where I was going too.And also close to the Bus stop's,staff were very friendly.I highly recommend anyone to go to the Ocean Views when visiting Lakes Entrance.

There was nothing I disliked about the Ocean Views.It what great everything nice view of the Ocean too.Nothing Negative like I said everything a positive atmosphere. But i will admit it taken me awhile to get to know i haven't been to Lakes Entrance since a Infant over 40 years.

Booked late in the day for an after hours arrival, just before entering an area with no phone/internet. Staff sent through quick and concise communication with details about confirmation and access to the room for us to help ease the situation. Parking at the door, and located close to town. We didn't get to check out the local area this trip, but this experience has us keen to travel again, and definitely stay here.

Between the whole family, the only issue any one person had was the wife saying the bed was a little firm, but she still got a full night's sleep, so really, nothing wrong at all.

This motel sits on a hill overlooking the lakes area, just before you get into the Lakes Entrance town. It is opposite a little road with a great lookout on and the kids were happy. There is a bistro down the end of the same road but you have to book to get in there.

Second room had no air con - it could be good to have air con in there for the kids as they woke a lot in the night saying it was warm. Kitchen and bathroom lumped in together makes a few things tricky in a family but everything was fine for the money otherwise. Thank you.

Easy to find , was nice and quiet . Motel is a little dated but it’s lovely and clean . Beds are comfortable, tea coffee , microwave kettle and toaster . Great price for an overnight stay will definitely stay again . The Checkin was really easy with a very friendly man at the front desk. Plenty of parking . Think we were upgraded as we had a spa in our room

The only negative I would have was the hot water took a bit of time to come through hot , other than that nothing else to comment
