Fantastic 24/7 room service. Food good enough, not bad, not amazing, but all staff I met were really helpful, friendly and welcoming, from check in through to check out. 10 out of 10 for customer service. Easy 450m walk from terminal, very well signed.

Room floor could have been a little cleaner but in the most part was clean. Could have simply been not enough time to clean up after a messy guest or vacuum cleaner with full dust bag. Was only one night so am going to give the benefit of the doubt. Have stayed in 5* hotels that were cleaned to a lower standard.

The hotel is very close to Melbourne airport - can be walked in 5mins or have free shuttle bus. The rooms are big, comfortable, good desk, range of softness of pillows. Housekeeping does excellent job each day. Breakfast is excellent - good range, quality. Restaurant and bar open most of the day, room service all day. Rooms very quiet despite being right by busy airport. My window allowed me to watch planes land and take off - cool!! On onsite laundry I used which was really helpful with 2 weeks clothes! Huge washer and dryer - tokens from reception. Airport shops and cafes and restaurants all ~5-10mins walkable.

we received an message from Holiday Inn advising us of the complimentary airport shuttle which made our arrival so much simpler as soon as we had our bags we phoned the Holiday inn and soon the shuttle was at the airport picking us up and taking us to the hotel a much appreciated service after travelling 14 hours from Abu Dhabi to Melbourne - our room was large and spacious it had everything we needed and was clean - breakfast was exceptional with options to order eggs your way. Staff very attentive and nothing was too big of an issue - Reception staff very helpful with tips on how to get into the city. Will definitely staff here again and recommend to friends.

Courtesy bus to and from the airport 24 x 7 Efficient and helpful staff. Breakfast Buffett delicious and hot. Room service if required. Availability of a laundry. Clean room and bed. Lovely hot shower, lovely towels.

Shower over the bath. I recommend the installation of safety grab rails , one vertical near the Toilet side of the shower and one horizontal higher up the wall than the current “ bath” rail, on the far wall. As an older traveller I found stepping over the bath edge to get into and out of the shower without no anti slip in the base of the bath and nothing much to hold onto , very challenging and I felt unsafe. The potential for a slip and fall is very real. The rumbling of possibly systemic air conditioning ? through the walls was noisy. I turned my room A/C off thinking that was it but no, this is a rumble in the building. It was loud for me.

Walking distance of arrivals/ departures or via the free transfer. Good quality rooms. We slept well as v tired. Excellent breakfast. Stored bags. Reasonable decor as now nearly 60 years old.

Food availability stopped quite early evening seeing travellers arriving at all times. We managed to get there just before restaurant closed but others had to get a toasty from the airport. Perhaps room service options were available but reception should enquire if new arrivals wish to eat and not leave to them too find out.

Excellent service at the breakfast buffet so friendly and nice to deal with Rooms clean and tidy great selection of shampoo/cond and hand wash smells amazing Also loved we couldn't hear the planes or traffic

The service desk as you walk in...would be nice if they're were alot friendly..smile for gods sake!!! I get it that it was 2am in the morning cause our flight was delayed and you had 1 other couple to serve but 2 - 3 of you were there! And maybe let us know what floor and direction we need to go...and offer us some help to get all our luggage to our rooms as we had alot to take up A great suggestion would be if you have people maybe teach your team to acknowledge you while in a que with a smile and say won't be long and sorry for the wait! Just a thought

Room was good 😊We had an early flight so we didn’t get breakfast ! We had dinner and 10 stars to the chefs the steak was perfect 👏👏👏👏The bar staff lady we had was amazing 10 Stars to her two she was the beautiful Islander girl . Our reception lady was lovely :) Will not say the same about the male staff member !

The price was quite expensive ! We pay those prices for 5 star Accomadation 🥲🥲🥲🥲Been told we couldn’t get a table for dinner until 7.30 pm we are at the bar and there were a lot of empty tables .

We had a reasonably pleasant and spacious room that was great for a one-night stopover, after our flight, before we travelled back to regional Victoria. Although we could hear planes taking off and landing the sound was not too intrusive. All staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.

There was a persistent and unpleasant odour in the bathroom, no doubt coming from the drains. The temperature of the room was too high. Breakfast was fine but not at the high standard of the modest hotels we stayed in while travelling in Norway.

Pickup was good Room good, although a biscuit with a cup of tea would have been good. Breakfast food was good but staff lacking a little

I ordered Smashed Avo with Eggs and. pineapple Juice. No juice arrived with meal so 1/2 way thru eating breakfast I helped myself to the juice bar. There was no staff around to ask if that was what I was supposed to do. Nearly finished my breakfast and the juice arrived! They did not seem to be too busy at the bar either! Not sure what happened then.

It was an all-round good experience. Smooth booking and checking in and out, quiet, clean and comfortable, a kettle in the room is always a plus and this hotel offers an especially good breakfast.

At the airport, waiting for the hotel shuttle or taxi would take longer than going on foot....so we walked and dragged the suitcases behind us. The walk to the hotel via car park and road crossings isn't easy with large suitcases, and there are no sign postings to pave the way. Made it, nevertheless.
