Property was perfect for me. When you travel alone, the way you are treated by the staff becomes more front and center. The staff at the hotel was helpful and cheerful. They knew I was concerned about the construction next door and made sure my room was away from it. They went the extra mile to give me a wonderful room. Maria, the woman who took care of my room, was excellent.

It could be a little far away from the main city for some, but I wanted to be close to Marvel Stadium. The free trams are right outside and will take you anywhere you need to go, and you have the added bonus of getting around the city as a local.

Staff just so friendly and helpful, love that it is so close to marvel stadium. So good to be able to walk from the stadium straight to the hotel after a game, esp with little kids in tow. Room was spacious enough for us 4, and everything was clean, which is something I'm particular about so that just makes everything so comfortable for me. Also we got there too early for check in but we read that our bags could be stored until check in, this was really easy. Then when we checked out we were asked if we would like our bags stored again for the day until we needed them which we happily took up that offer. Buffet breakfast was enjoyed by all family members at a pre booked discounted price, it was convenient and delicious.

Toilet was a bit noisy...like the seat moved around a bit so it made loud noises when you got on and off😂😂😂

* Big and spacious rooms * Prime location near the train station & trams * Quiet area, even with the ongoing construction * Buffet breakfast was well-stocked and tasty

* Neon-Yellow lighting in the restaurant/bar area is insufficient and disrupting. Would be fine as an accent light, but not as the main source of illumination. * Nespresso coffee-pods and milk in room are NOT replenished during daily housekeeping, milk in fact was resealable. We used a portion then sealed it and put it back in the fridge, next day it was promptly thrown away. * Towels in-room are not of a great quality considering what you pay per night. * Foxtel channels in our room were un-watchable. Constant stuttering & fragmented images.

For a 5 start hotel: - it wasn’t the cleanest; - one of our towels had a stain - the covers on our bed also had a stain - there was some mould in the shower - they don’t provide bottled water, they leave a cup and letter in the bathroom which basically reads “drink from the bathroom tap” I’ve been to lower star properly that provide complimentary bottled water - bed was sagging and I woke up every morning aching

Amazing customer service from all staff, especially the front desk… Great convenient location to trams, loved that the hotel was within a free-tram zone (basically everywhere we went was within the free zone…bonus). Harry Styles was in town so we were able to listen to the concert from the room… A quick couple minute walk from Southern Cross Station, the parking bay was VERY convenient and easy.

Nothing… Maybe that the heated pool is not really heated as much as I expected and was on the adjacent building, but it was easy to access.

Location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. The room was very clean and lived up to the photos which doesn't always happen. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in, the shower was great. Staff were more than happy to take care of our bags and shopping while we waited to check in as we arrived very early in the morning.

A few more options of snacks on the room service menu would have been handy, but we located a small shop very nearby which was open late which did the job.

The location was fantastic, the trams were so easy to access from docklands to south wharf. The room's were great and the bed's were extremely comfortable. Peppers staff were also extremely helpful with recommendations and accommodating to any questions we had.

Our room unfortunately did have a bit of a funny smell that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We would have loved a room with a nicer view, but that of course was out of our control. Breakfast was also okay, but I wouldn't say that it was great value for money.

Fantastic access to Marvel Stadium. Close to CBD, tram outside. Staff were friendly. Easy check in. Quiet inside rooms with no noise heard from other guests.

The whole place is looking a little tired. Needs some TLC. Marks on walls, stains on carpets. Just getting a little shabby. Whilst aware the restaurant waa currently closed buffett breakfast was on offer though was very average. Coffee pod machine in room though no coffee pods provided??

The proximity to where we wanted to be ie Boat Show. Also the convenience of the tram stop right outside hotel. Both these things really made it a great stay.

Unfortunately the noise from the building site next door did disturb my sleep in, starting after 7.00am but we were told about it and it’s not the hotels fault. I suppose the restaurant being closed may have been due to short staff or trying to save money as bookings may be affected. This meant searching for places to eat breakfast (not many in immediate area) especially at weekend. I took my swimmers but didn’t bother to swim as the pool was not on site which I didn’t know about.The manager couldn’t have been more helpful and even though the hotel was fully booked with a bike event at Marvel Stadium and The Boat Show, he managed to find us an alternative room away from the building site.

Great location, comfortable bed. The staff were amazing. I love the use of wood for the key cards, pens etc. The breakfast was really good. We loved the pancakes. Also loved the fresh water with lemon available in the lobby and the comfortable couches and chairs.

Our room was a little small and with an extra bed set up there was little room to move.. also there was a weird dip/slope in the floor of our room that I did trip on a couple of times. Really minor complaints for an otherwise perfect stay.
