The room and restroom was clean and spacious. Room came with a decent size fridge, microwave oven, kettle, with plates, cups and other cutleries (dishwasher liquid and sponge), coffee powder, tea bags and milk. The location is very close to Southern cross bus and train station. Sightseeing locations were close by as the hotel was right in the Melbourne CBD. Staff were friendly and we loved there service. They provide English breakfast, the price is discounted if we book a day before.

Only con was water was not provided in the room. However, there is a 7-eleven near the hotel so we can buy water from there.

We stayed four nights and found it a really nice, comfortable hotel. It's clean and modern with plenty to like about it. We got a room with a view up the train lines to a city vista and we loved it. The parking was right next door (the parking they have an arrangement with), and it is roomy, secure, easy to access. The hotel is accessed via a quiet lane that made entry and exit to parking and checking in and out with a vehicle, easy. We will happily stay here again.

No streaming service. Tv set up so you can't plug in your own device (ie chromecast). Fridge made a sound all night that kept waking us up. We think it was the broken freezer door. But none of these issues would turn us off staying here again.

We had booked for 6 nights and were pleasantly surprised to discover that our towels were changed every day and that mid-way through our stay, our sheets were changed. We weren't expecting that. :)

We found that not having a "kitchen sink" in our room and needing to use the bathroom basin to wash our dishes, a bit awkward, but it's only a very small gripe. Be aware that the entrance to the Hotel is down a 65 step staircase (from Southern Cross Station). There is a lift, but it's not obvious - took us a couple of days to find it. The bed was a bit hard.

Great location, close to trains and trams and all the junk food and other food and drink options you may ever want or need.

A bit slack with the room service. We reused our towels for 3 or the four nights we stayed there and didn’t ask to have our room made up or cleaned but on the final day of our stay we wanted our last night there to be freshened up a bit so we asked them to clean our room. they changed the towels and that’s it. Didn’t even make the bed for us. I don’t think we were expecting too much. I even brought my own coffee, sugar and milk. Kept the room clean. just wanted the bed fixed up!

I liked the location and its proximity to the Southern Cross Station. A 5-minute walk (using a shortcut) to said station and a train that takes you to Melbourne Central in 10 minutes was also good. As for the room and bed, the bed was semi-clean.

there were a few stains on the blankets but overall it was comfortable to call 'my bed' for 5 nights, as for the room, there's no separate sink to wash your dishes in (which took us by surprise) and the sink in our room was slow to drain. Additionally, the bin gets changed each time the room is serviced, it's still relatively small.

Fabulous location to Marvel Stadium and only a short walk into the CBD. The corner room was fabulous, roomy, the bed was so comfy and the shower was great. Breakfast was pretty good.

It was a mixed bag with the staff. One lovely staff member at check in said I was on a special deal with receiving complimentary minibar up to the value of $20 per day. Then when I went to choose my items later that night, another staff member said I wasn't. Then another staff member said I was but the amount doesn't carry over into the next day. Then another staff member said it did. In the end it was fine, but it was pretty confusing for me.

The room was a good size, very comfortable for a solo traveller. Plenty of storage and all the essentials. There was a microwave, some eating utensils and a fridge. This was great to be able to store drinks and snacks. The bed was very comfortable and there was air conditioning which worked well and was easy to use unlike some other more complex digital systems I have come across. A great location near to Marvel Stadium and Southern Cross Station. Getting to the main shopping areas in Melbourn was a 15-20 minute walk or quicker if exploring using trams. It was a reasonable price despite the fact it was during the Firelight festival and was a weekend where there was an AFL match at Marvel Stadium.

Only two minor downsides. First was that the bed was on wheels which didn't seem to have stoppers on, so every time I got on the bed, it moved slightly from the wall. The second was a preference, there was a rectangular bright light for the main room and a small less bright ceiling spotlight. I wish there was a way of just turning off the brighter light and keep on the lower light spotlight.

Perfect location. Room was value for the money. There is no working restaurant in the hotel, however, lot of options around. The only improvement I would have liked - I checked out in the wee hours of the morning and had to bring my 3 luggages down myself in two rounds, there was no assistance available because it was early morning.

No restaurant! No OTT on the television. A television with the OTTs is useless these days. And like I mentioned, assistance in bringing down my luggages even if it was really early in the morning would have been great!

We have wanted to stay here for a while , suited us perfectly this trip as our daughter had arranged a birthday present for her Dad at Marvel Stadium , easy to cross over to and also walk into the city for dinner. Was a large room, quiet. comfy bed and good pillows

Nothing really, but the car park was a bit away from the front desk if you had lots of luggage or little ones. Am so glad we were able to get a parking voucher for $25 otherwise it would have been such an added expense to our night in Melbourne , thanks to front desk staff for sorting that.

Room was very small, but clean and it had everything we needed for just one night, although, as we arrived late after a long walk, we didn't feel like going out again, so we were hoping there would be some room service. Thankfully our daughter organised some Uber eats for us, otherwise we would have been eating a packet of biscuits for tea.

Our GPS on the phone gave us confusing directions, so we walked far too long around the Marvel Stadium and back again. When we arrived the reception staff were lovely and helpful. However, our room was as far away as it could possibly have been, right down the end of the passage way. We are both in our seventies and my husband was exhausted when we finally arrived in our room.
