A slight issue with our original room, we were immediately moved to another room which was quite an upgrade from our original room. Staff were amazing, view was brilliant, bed was comfortable and we could not have asked for a better location. Plenty of restaurants close by. Woolworths just a short walk away. Tram basically outside the door. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

The only issue I had was the blinds, but no motel/apartment I have ever stayed has good blackout blinds. The last apartment we were in did not have block out blinds at all just mesh ones. But that is more my issue cause I love a dark room to sleep in so I just wore my sleep mask.

I found Docklands Private Collection at the last minute when in a desperate situation after my 18 year old arrived alone to Melbourne for uni and the previous hotel we'd booked for him was a disaster. The team at Docklands welcomed him, checked him in early, and eased my mind as I was on the other side of the world and unable to take care of things in person. The lodgings were clean, the people were incredibly kind and I would have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you Docklands for turning a very stressful situation for us into a really wonderful outcome.

I liked the design, bed, provided equipment for kitchen. Accommodation was close to public transport. Also quality of provided shampoo, conditioner was good.

Store was kind a far from accommodation. And kitchen hood made noise all the time, it was a little bit open, but closed it made much louder noise. Needs to be fixed, because not good for sleeping. Also requirement to clean after yourself and take out the rubbish was weird as it is Booking not AirBnb, otherwise money will be taken from card. And I could not find big rubbish bin.

Tram station at the front door (free zone is a plus), great front desk service, and steps away from the Firelight Festival location. Two lovely coffee shops downstairs and within walking distance of many restaurants. 2 minutes to the Marvel Stadium and 10 minutes to the Southern Cross Station if you want to walk. The room is spacious and modernized, with a separate bedroom and a balcony. My room was facing the railyard and very quiet in the evening, even if the front of the building was right next to the crowds of Firelight. Has a washing machine and dryer, with access-controlled front door and lift during off hours.

Wifi signal is relatively poor. My washing machine was not working during my stay - the front desk did offer laundry and room delivery service for free instead.

The view was fabulous. Great area to stay in. Will use again when needing to visit Melbourne. Tram straight outside the door, eating places are a short walk. Costco is close by. Staying here made it easy to attend St. Paul's Cathedral (via tram) without having to worry about where to park our car, then back to Docklands for a lunch cruise!

the bed was a little to firm for me. Some one had left a bit of sticky lolly on the ironing board which came off onto the shirt I was Ironing. I rang reception and they sent another ironing board up.

Location was perfect with tram just across the Rd it was only 5mins into the Cbd, I travelled with my 10 year old daughter and we felt very safe here, we paid for a Seaview which was well worth it. Staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful. cafes and restaurants were downstairs or across the Rd as was a supermarket and mall. Units were very clean with everything you need for a short or long stay. I would definitely stay again and cannot recommend enough.

location was great- Tram stop right out the front & only 4 tram stops to Spencer St station. The rooms in the apartment were light-filled and airy with pleasant views of the trains leaving and arriving. The double blinds were fantastic at blocking out light for sleeping and the bed was large & cosy. We had all the facilities for what was needed (including some extras -bonus!)

There was a bit of loud traffic noise on Saturday night for a while but this stopped in reasonable time for sleeping. Would also have liked a more comfortable pillow - the ones available were a bit low.

Location Location Location There is no better directly in front of central pier tram stop and digital harbour. The staff are amazing and so friendly. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which was very spacious, and had everything you needed to stay for a short or long time. Bed was comfy and very nice bedding. Full laundry in the apartment was great to keep on top of the washing.

The apartment could do with a bit of an update needed to be painted, and some of the furniture could have been replaced as it was very tired and well loved. Other than that we had a great stay and will be back

The studio was great, the bett excellent, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Kitchen had everything one basically might need. Cafes, restaurants, shops neerby and in front of the building the tram station. Sleeping room and bathroom were fine too, washing machine and tumbler there too.

Unfortunately, the WiFi was insufficiant, low data rate and more over it comes and goes, light waves. I wanted to do some work depending on internet connection, that was difficult.

The location was perfect for me and I enjoyed walking the docks and catching trams up town. The apartment was perfect, clean, comfortable I cannot praise this accommodation any more....very pleased all round....and the bed and comforter was just perfect for me, comfortable and warm for the chilly Melbourne weather...my visit was in June....with the trams virtually at the front door to take me wherever I desired to go in the city. Will definitely book there again for my next visit.
