There's a reason we keep coming back here. If you're into old buildings, a wide variety of people, and meeting Freo's weirdos who try to get into the hostel, this place is for you! Maybe you want to play pool, swim, or get drunk with interesting people, maybe you want to bar crawl and need a decent place to drink until 4am after, maybe you just want to relax away from it all, this place has everything. It might seem like I'm being paid to say this (hint hint guys) but there's nowhere else we'd rather stay, and we drive 4 hours each weekend just to come here and experience the best of Freo. See you tomorrow (again!)

The hostel is in a great location, in the heart of Freo, close to Bathers Beach. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, which enhanced my stay. The hostel itself was bigger than expected and had all of the things a backpacker could need and more; especially loved the comfy bed and the pool! I really enjoyed my time here and met some amazing people. Personally, I think it’s the perfect place for either a short or long stay.

Best hostel I’ve been in Australia so far. They have many facilities such as pool table, bar, swimming pool, 2 terraces, and a lot of different spots if you want to chill, read or rather meet new people. Everything is amazing, the staff is very friendly as well. It’s definitely one of the best place to make your experience in Australia unforgettable.

Ross, Oli and Elena the managers are very careful of their guests and are so available to help and to make sure you're having a good time.

Originally booked 2 nights, ended up staying for 2 weeks :) it’s an awesome place to stay, long term or just for a weekend. It’s right in the town center of Fremantle easy to walk everywhere. The Staff is super friendly and always helpful. Especially for FIFO people I really recommend it.

No parking close to the hostel, but a free option day and night very close, so wasn’t a problem :)

Great hostel in a good location, in the heart of Fremantle but the street itself isn’t too noisy. Check in with Ross the receptionist was smooth and he gave me some good tips around things to do in the area. Room and common areas were clean and the hostel is a great place to hang out and meet fellow travellers. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Fremantle and I’m sure I will stay there again!

Couldn’t really fault it to be honest!

Generally movie sequels are kinda wack and disappointing; well to my surprise this was not the case with my second stay at Sundancer Backpackers in Freo. This place keeps getting better and better, the managers and staff have been working tirelessly in the last few months to turn it to quintessence of chill town. If you’re looking for spot to mellow out and unwind this is 100% where you want to come. Cream of the crop of hostels!

Amazing building, with a lot of stuff to do in the hostel. Pingpong table, pool table a lot of couches to chill. And a pool. People are very friendly!!! Great location, nice beaches around and if you wanna go into the city it's 30 min with the train.

Wifi could be better!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they made me feel at home. The location is just perfect and the beds are very confortable! Best hostel in Freo! I will come back, no doubt :)

I could have a million things to say, but I will just say the staff. Really never experienced such a dedicated staff in years of travel. You can see the love and dedication in the small things It should be a 11/10!
