I have stayed here tens of times and I have always loved the place. This time there were 2 things that changed. Firstly they did not take cash. That sucks. I’m a pro-cash individual. Secondly and by far the most disappointing was the realisation that the water pressure has changed to a trickle. It took 15 mins just to wash the shampoo from hair and I had to move around just to get wet. It was also impossible to get the water temperature right. Either piping hot or freezing. I love you guys but the neo-environmentallist angle has reached the point where it is compromising comfort.

The entrance was cool and welcoming with lovely people at the reception and air-conditioned. The pool was the highlight of my stay. A relaxed courtyard area with lots of seating and the pool was beautiful. I ordered a perfectly mixed cocktail too . The room was super comfortable and had everything you could need. I loved that I could have a proper bath in a nice big bath.

The shower in the morning had very little pressure and the water dribbled out which was the only shame about my stay. Was fine in the evening though.

Large spacious room with huge bed, generous lounge area, and well laid out bathroom. The bathroom offered good shower pressure AND ample bench space for toiletries. Plus the shower did not create a mess all over the bathroom floor. I spent some time on the shaded rooftop daybeds reading a book which was lovely. 24hr reception was also good as I had to leave at 4am. Was good to know I had support to order a taxi should my Uber not show up.

No full length mirror in the room at all - unexpected for a venue that hosts weddings. I also didn't like that the only opportunity for fresh air was to leave the door open. A window would have been nice, but leaving the door open was ok when there wasn't a wedding happening on the deck outside my room as it wasn't a high-trafficked area. I couldn't turn the air conditioning on but pretty sure this was a user error (me) and not a fault with the air conditioning. I had mixed experience with the restaurant downstairs. Coffee one afternoon was great but breakfast on another day wasn't a great experience. Very lack lustre service and the menu item I wanted wasn't available (sold out).

Rooms felt great for the family (kids in one, parents in another) and felt the kids were safe and accessible throughout. The hotel was able to accommodate having our family in 2 rooms next to each other. Had numerous great features, including a central pool with stairs and elevator access, multiple car parks available and a rooftop area. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic. Friendly staff were happy to help and accommodate (including lending a vacuum to me so I could clean the car of some accumulated sand from earlier travels).

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfy.

The service for breakfast was very slow, and it was waitress order only. There was only 1 waitress and a 1 staff member making coffee. We waited 40 mins to order with no option to order or get up and serve ourselves drinks. There had been a wedding the day before but seemed like no extra staff. The better option would have been either self service buffet or order at the till. When we complained the order was taken. The food was good when it arrived. Felt sorry for the staff who were under alot of pressure.

The set up of the property, it’s easy to move around and you feel like your on a break the minute you walk in. The staff were absolutely exceptional, from room service to the receptionists, it was for our anniversary and it was a rare night away. The pool area was welcoming and lovely, with a great set up, towels and sunscreen, with a great vibe of parents and children playing and the childless people relaxing. They made it so special, will most definitely be back on our freo stay cays.

Couldn’t fault it.

The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Our room was close to the rear parking and the rooftop alfresco area so we could enjoy a byo wine over looking the Swan river. This area has bars and is probably used more so in summer. Their is an elevator and ramps for wheelchair access. Restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables. The pool area looked very inviting Would stay again for sure.

The kitchen sink is positioned in a really odd spot..and would annoy me trying to wash up if I was staying for numerous days...certainly makes you want to eat out! Seeing we had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 it was great value once shared.

Very comfortable bed. Good location, on the way into Fremantle.

The hotel is a lovely locations and has lots of outdoor events happening (such as weddings) with loud music playing. I was SO pleased that I had requested a quiet room. It worked perfectly for me and I had a lovely stay. But, I did wonder how it was for guests staying in rooms near to the events.

Rooms are huge! Great to relax in and spread out when you have lots of luggage. Location is perfect. Used the laundry facilities which was great and room service was easy with no extra charge for delivering to your room.

Our friends got a room on the outside of the building which was very dark and not the same lovely vibe as ours was by the pool, so keep that in mind when booking. Lots of kids running down the corridors past your room as well.

Great size room in a nice neighbourhood hotel. Beautiful area away from the buzz of East Fremantle. Half hour walk to the main area which was refreshing. Facilities I the room outstanding, cleanliness great and super comfy bed!

Room was very dimly lit, pool very noisy right outside the room. TV wasn’t working for one night, was fixed eventually on the second night. A bit of a hike to get anywhere central to Fremantle.
