It was an exceptional experience. The facilities available were excellent, offering a wide range of amenities that catered to all our needs. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and meticulously clean, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the convenient access to the freeway, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Additionally, the proximity to a nearby dog park was a fantastic bonus, especially for pet owners like us. Overall, Pier 21 provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and quality. Highly recommended!

It would be great if the breakfast facilities could be extended to guests who are unable to attend the restaurant. Offering a delivery service or a takeaway option would be very convenient for those who are unable to attend (not leaving dogs alone). Additionally, given the sandy environment common in WA, it would be ideal to provide a broom and an optional mop in the apartments to help guests keep the floors clean. Lastly, the kitchen could benefit from having more than one pot to make cooking easier. Despite these minor suggestions, our stay was fantastic

We didn’t enjoy a breakfast unfortunately but then again we went their for that reason I am a regular customer to pier 21 so I would have to say I stay here about 10 times a year I love it it’s my all time favourite I love the location , I use pier 22 for romantic getaways and business when writing my book I enjoy Milo beah and I love fishing and walking around the area it has a nice vibe .

The staff where a little bit incompetent as far as miscommunication goes we nearly lost our booking after booking online and being accepted with a booking confirmation then told that the credit card didn’t work we had two hours thereafter to rectify the payment so I thought we should rock up early be aswell go to the property and sort the payment out now instead of online again so when I arrived at reception the lady on the desk said I’m sorry we can’t book it in I’ve already closed down the system I was most disappointed she really wasn’t going to book it at if it wasn’t for my fight to have that apartment we would of not enjoyed our stay there , terrible customer service and lazy

We liked the location.. rooms great / staff helpful to get there as we were running late and made sure we checked in. Got an upgrade to a second floor balcony room with river view that was an excellent start and much appreciated. Kids loved tennis court, pools and gym/ table tennis.

The bbq area at the pool closing at 830. It closed very abruptly too. Ie we were eating by the pool with friends and didn’t realise the time and were told we ‘had to go’. The staff member stood there holding the door open so we had to pack up everything in afew minutes… maybe staff may come down at say 815 and remind guests the bbq closes in 15 so we have a little time to eat pack up and leave..understand they have been there all day but consideration is a Two way street.. not sure you have to offer a one dollar coffee but perhaps a free coffee given I went to get one with a a dollar and told it would be deducted from my deposit. If not was say a free coffee we we would probably have gone to get one and stayed for breakfast .

Very central to all amenities, staff were lovely even when we raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room, which they offered to jave house cleaning come straight away although i had already cleaned most. We were offered complimentary breakfast as a way of an apology. We had a great view of the swan river and marina. Overall, minus the cleanliness the hotel staff were very accommodating and professional.

The room wasnt clean which was dissapointing but the reception staff were very easy to deal with and proffessional so i would rate the hotel an 8.5/10 but cleanliness a 5/10

The apartments at Pier 21 are in an amazing location, close to the Swan River. Our particular apartment had amazing views to the river. The outdoor facilities were well kept and the pool and bbq area clean and tidy.

We were unaware the bedrooms did not have any air conditioning or ceiling fans. It was a hot week in Perth, and to not have cooling in the bedrooms is unacceptable for a 4 star establishment. Very disappointing. As we were in Perth for a family celebration, there was only one mirror in the bathroom, for everyone to get ready. I suggest that each bedroom should have a wall mirror at least, for guests to get ready, so that the bathroom can be freed up for others to use. We found that with one bathroom, and four people to get ready, we had to stagger the times throughout the day, to get ready. Inside furniture is slightly dated, and there is no artwork on the walls, The view made up for it all.

Great fridge, and microwave, provision of bottled water on all but one day, effort made to provide a coffee maker, comfortable bed, great sized bathroom, generally very quiet and spacious room. Also delicious breakfasts.

Parking was tight - and not all guests were considerate of other cars and the lines to park between. And while there was a stove top, I couldn't figure out how to use the induction aspect ... so basically I didn't have a stove to use. I was also a bit surprised with the location. While it was fine for me on this visit, it wasn't really close to cafes/restaurants/shops.

The location was perfect. Excellent view over the water. The room was lovely. The location of the venue made it easy to travel around by foot and the opportunity to take in the sights was excellent.

I am incredibly tuned into 'small things' when it comes to cleanliness. Surfaces were clean however, the attention to detail was missing. For example: The light globes in the lamps were covered in dust as were the shades. It doesn't take much for the housekeeping crew to clean globes and lamps at least once a fortnight. Breakfast was disappointing. It took ages to be served and although we asked for 'very hot' coffee (twice) we were served warm coffee.

Great facilities indoor pool with spa and outdoor pool overlooking the river. room had all the needed amenities and was very clean. our room only had partial views of the river but overlooked the park. There is a restaurant on site but depending on staff it may be closed.

couldn't have breakfast on site as no staff available to cook very disappointing as there is no cafe of restaurant close to the location. Our room was quite small compared to the rest of the rooms of similar size. Not in walking distance to anything.

Its position on the river was stunning, nice big park close by. Pools/spa/gym was great The room was very modern and comfortable

Need to pay attention to really small details, we only had 2 knives and forks, a queen bed was left unmade/uncleaned after rest of property was cleaned. Tennis racquets were taken by other guests for 2 days we never saw court used and when we finally got our chance the racquets are sized for toddlers. As I said…all small details. Did not turn us off this property, it’s great and I highly recommend

I don’t often write reviews but this place was a great find and we shall use it again. We chose it mainly because it was pet friendly. And it was perfect. All pets are on the ground floor with nice garden area to go out on. And pleasant walks nearby along the river It was beautifully clean without any chemical small of cleaning! A nice spacious apartment. Good parking and walking distance from the train ( though up a steep Hil!)

The details said “ a small charge may apply for pets” when I booked. What is should say is that a $45/day charge applies to pets. Just so people are aware of full cost
