Breakfast not included as far as we knew. Town accessible by bus once we worked out the routes. 30 minutes or so by foot if not carrying too much. It took us a while to locate as the hotel name had changed from Beaconsfield to Wray!

Had trouble getting there. Misled re bus stops by local cafe worker so called taxi - which never came, so ended up walking. Not far but we were carrying luggage for 10 day trip so not a comfortable stroll! Hotel appeared to be closed for bar renovations but a helpful tradie took us to an open bar where we checked in OK. Later on the bar staff were reluctant to serve us a drink when we returned 15 minutes before closing time! We did get drinks after arguing that we were staying there, though it appeared the bar and accommodation were separately managed

I particularly liked the food selection and the staff’s “can do approach”.. I like the choice of rooms being, double, twin or budget. The Beaconsfield Hotel is undergoing some awesome retro changes, please keep the room rates reasonable as we are not millionaires. I loved the ‘karaoke night’ and saw an amazing group of singers having fun.

Being in my 70’s, I’m normally not a big fan of traipsing down corridors to use the toilet, however, it’s not such an ordeal and as this is now my 3rd stay... i can see the Beaconsfield becoming my go to Accomodation from here on.

Great place! Would definitely come for a feed and drinks and possibly stay again.

The bathroom facilities...one toilet was blocked and the mats on the floor in the showers are extremely unhygienic. I wish i knew to bring thongs to wear in the shower. Sorry 😔 Great place though!

Bedroom was clean, comfortable, location was fantastic, poor ol bathroom could use a revamp

Only the bathroom, although it was shared, needs a facelift, shared kitchen was handy and clean

Friendly Staff. Good location. Clean & comfy facilities.

Awkward having shared & unisex toilets and showers so close to each other. Old plumbing could be an issue for the Wray hearing bubbling & gurgling sounds coming thru the water pipes (hope not).

The place was very clean, the staff were very accommodating, and attentive. The food in the restaurant was delicious and really good value for money.

The bathroom and kitchenette needs updating, but is clean. The bedrooms would benefit from mirrors.

the property was clean and tidy, but above all the staff were excellent. the food was delicious and was a good size, plus my young daughter ate for free as I was paying for a full adult meal. I’ll be definitely staying there again in the near future.

Some of the rooms didn’t have televisions. televisions are pretty cheap these days and it would be a good idea to have televisions in every room there, as some people who stay there have children.
