From the moment we stepped into our room, it was evident that this hotel experience would be special. The room itself was a delightful surprise. It was impeccably clean and totally comfortable and relaxing. The bed was a dream – incredibly comfortable that ensured a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided in the room, from the towels to the complimentary toiletries, were of top-notch quality. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to our every need. Their friendly and attentive demeanor made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. The free water and breakfast and candies on arrival were such a personal touch. Not to mention the free drink during Happy Hours. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. In short, our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a hotel that combines comfort, style, and outstanding service, look no further. We can't wait to return for another exceptional experience.

The staff accommodating our needs to the bigger rooms at their new area across the road. "New Haus" was ten times better. Thanks for meeting our needs at short notice. Appreciate big time :).

Asking the cleaner for 2 extra towels due to having a shower that evening, then both my husband & I were wanting a fresh towel for our morning shower, as we were checking out the next day for our drive home. She did give us an affirmative yes when we asked her, but when we arrived back to our room from our outing, to find that she did not fulfil the request. Was a bit disappointed, but the receptionist at the desk was happy to find us 2 towels :) Also, did not expect to be in a small container spaced room for the price we paid for a 4 day stay. However....

Great Location. Quirky. Free drink (half pint beer or glass of wine) in the evening at the adjacent bar. Coffee/tea and toast in the mornings suited me just fine. Lovely bread and jam and decent coffee and tea. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Receptionist will get you a late night drink from the reception bar.

The evening meat and cheese 'platter' with the free evening drink was cubes of cheddar and slices of salami. Very basic. The rooms are compact. Didn't find the useful storage under the end of the bed until the day we left! Not advisable for a first date unless you are uninhibited about toilet (audible) and shower (slightly see through from bed) :-)

We really enjoyed the vibe of the hotel. The reception area and relaxing breakfast and sitting area is welcoming and tastefully decorated. The adjacent outside bar was fantastic - friendly bar staff, terrific craft beers (especially the Dunkel), great sound-track, a very relaxing late afternoon venue. The large mural on the wall of the adjacent building is worth seeing. The hotel has a great location right in the heart of Fremantle and it is very easy to walk everywhere within 6-10 minutes.

The rooms were small and somewhat cramped which made it tight for two people. However, there is so much to do close by that you don't need to spend a lot of time in your room.

Fabulous quirky modern boutique hotel. Perfect location for exploring Fremantle on foot. Small but very well designed, clean and comfortable room with everything we needed including beautiful high quality toiletries. Staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was perfect for us with home made muesli and preserves, fruit juice, yogurt, tea/coffee and a choice of quality breads. Happy hour 5-6pm each evening was very welcome with a free glass of wine, cheese and nibbles.

This place is full of surprises! Staff members were all very friendly and helpful.Even though the room is small, it's got everything we need for an overnight stay. The room is spotless clean. We got a free welcome beer and cheese platter between 5 to 6. Breakfast is simple but healthy, especially the home-made jams. The owner Marcus dropped in and gave everyone a lolly and said ' Here's a lolly to make your day sweeter !' How cute! lol. Also learned a few things about the history of the last boat bringing convicts to Australia.Thank you so much.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location & really friendly, helpful & accomodating staff. Quirky rooms. Loved the complimentary wine & cheese at Calamitys Rod next door, and the other extras available to guests. Location was also central & easy walking distance to many places. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are on the small side (which was expected), and we found the bed a little on the hard side, but this would not stop me from staying again as the positives outweigh the negative for sure.

It was very clean, new and smelled nice. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom amenities. Friendly staff. I liked the breakfast. Loved the location.

Wifi password didn't work. I made a call to the reception to get the password again, but it still didn't work. Part of the bathroom wall was transparent, and the bathroom door was not able to close tight, which could be a bit awkward. (But I should mention the bathroom itself was very clean and nice)

Excellent location if you want to be in the heart of Freo - I wanted this but I know many other people may not like this if they looking for a quieter, secluded location. The room, while small, is well finished with all mod cons. Breakfast is continental type which is fine if you want a light breakfast - some mornings I didn't go for this as I wanted a larger breakfast which was available just around the corner from the hotel [Gino's Cafe - excellent!], less than 60m away.

I have to say, honestly, there is not nothing I didn't like.

Fantastic location close to the main hub but in a nice quiet back street. All staff were engaging, very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Marisa at reception (she is s gem) and Issac at the adjoining brewery who made us very welcome. Hotel offers a free wine/beer and a cheeseboard every afternoon 5-6pm-nice touch.

Everything was great for a one/two night but wouldn’t recommend for a few days vacation. Primarily due to the room size we stayed in. I believe there are larger rooms which would possibly be alluring for a longer stay.
