FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISABILITY ACCESS AS WELL- well worth the stay. I injured myself so hired the DINKUM NAVIGATOR lightweight foldable power chair from a supplier called abbicare to get around. The assessible room is large with seating and handrails where required. The Staff are wonderful, polite and organically approachable or just a chat. The room is clean and bed awesome as was the brekky. The whole hotel has an earthy raw look and feel which made staying here very relaxing. The location is on top of all the night life in the heart of Northbridge yet quiet as.. and the carpark next door is just AUD10 from 18.00 - 06.00 which suited me no end with trains and buses all nearby and about 20 mins fromnthe airport. Highly recommend. PS, I stayed at Alex Hotel the week before and liked it so much I booked it the following weekend.

Staff were ever friendly and breakfast items were divine. Must be the best spinach roll and cinnamon roll I have ever had. Shadow Bar and Restaurant next door does superb food and wine suggestions were on point. Barista Coffee during breakfast hours and real bean coffee any time of day. Location was great if you like to be in the middle of CBD and parking at state library was only $29 for my 2 night/3 day duration of stay.

As someone who doesn't feel fit for human consumption before my morning cuppa, I would've liked the option to make coffee in my room. (I'm just being picky, bean coffee is available 24/7 on the first floor)

This hotel is modern and fun. So well located - just 100m to the WA museum and the cultural centre. Staff were gorgeous and so helpful. Breakfast was a well stocked table of fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, yogurt and juice. Coffee and tea were served by the staff.

I can't really fault this hotel, the only comment that I would make is that the shower was set on the hand held position, which caught me by surprise but I certainly don't blame anyone for that. In fact, my brother picked me up and he had a look around and agreed that the hotel was very cool.

Very pleasant staff. Rooms are small but Hotel is very well maintained and spotless. Breakfast was nice but we were expecting more than "continental" for the price.

The noise level from a night club opposite our room was next level. I rang reception/after hours number and was advised there were ear plugs supplied in our room! Staff were happy to move us to another room the next day but we were sleep deprived and concerned that our 2nd night would be as bad as the first. Thankfully we were placed further back in the hotel and noise was not a concern.

We liked the mezzanine floor which had a lovely sitting area, with access to help yourself tea and coffee, fresh fruit and a good selection of reading material and games. Also loved the artwork on display. This made our compact room very workable. Continental breakfast was also served on the mezzanine and was very good. We chose the Alex as we were coming from Perth Airport, and it was within walking distance from Perth railway station. There was also a good selection of restaurants nearby.

As is the case with many hotels the pillows were too flat and soft.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to the CBD and cultural attractions. There is plenty of food at breakfast and it is replenished if necessary. The rooms are spacious and there are lots of comfortable spaces in the hotel where you can sit to have a drink or read.

It can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday night due to being surrounded by nightclubs but earplugs are provided if needed. I thought not having a kettle in the room would be inconvenient. However, a coffee machine was available for guests to use at anytime.

Super clean and comfortable, especially the pillows. Convenient location with CPP parking right next door. Easy access to freeway if travelling by car which we were. Mezzanine floor with comfortable lounges, books, tea, coffee, fruit and water. Accessible 24/7. Lovely to relax on this level. Close to the city, walking distance. Tucked away in Northbridge. Breakfast included in the price and late checkout. A hidden gem. Very nice and helpful staff.

The rooms are VERY small. But if you are only looking for a bed - it’s not an issue. We did access the mezzanine floor to relax with our family rather than it be a room experience. No iron or hairdryers in room. We didn’t require them but feel sure they would have been available. We stayed on a Monday night. Not many good restaurants open which was a bit disappointing. I’m struggling to find something bad to say…

Very friendly and mega-helpful staff on hand throughout day and night. Comfortable bed (good linen & pillows), decent black out curtains, great shower and air con. Delicious and healthy continental breakfast taken in beautiful dining area. The art works, games and books are a treat. Guests can help themselves to chilled water or store their own drinks in big fridge in kitchen area. Central location with train station and many eating and drinking options within a 5 minutes walk. Not far from main link road so getting to and from airport is easy in taxi.

Saturday night this part of Perth is beyond noisy. Music and shouting heard well into the early hours of Sunday. (NB: Other nights were quiet, so if a light sleeper or not keen on listening to others partying, choose a midweek stay). There is no storage for clothes: the rooms have a trendy hanging rack ideal for a short stay, but an 'unpacking challenge' for people with suitcases full of clothes on a multi-city, multi-weather Australian tour, or those who have yet to master the art of 'traveling light' i.e. my husband's wife, lol.

The included breakfast was excellent! The facilities around the hotel were also excellent lots of nice balcony spaces and areas for reading and relaxing. The location is superb! Right next to the arts precinct and very close to the main train station for trips to the beach. It's very central so the other parts of Perth are also very very close.

The room was a good size but there is very limited space to hang clothes, but plenty of wall space to add extra hooks. And only two hooks in the shower for towels which aren't great for drying, no hooks for hand towels and no where to hang the wet bath mat.

This is a super little boutique hotel in the heart of the restaurant district of Perth. The staff were all exceptional, particularly Jayne and Larry on reception. The rooms, though not large, were more than adequate and the beds and linen were super. Sunset drinks on the roof, available some nights, is great on a warm evening with no wind. Continental breakfast was super with locally made pastries, bread and muesli. Comfortable bar in the reception area. Luggage storage available at no charge. Inexpensive municipal parking 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Would return for sure.

Some rooms can be noisy into the night on festival weekends. That's it, no other downside.
