Truly beautiful homestead (restored 100 year old stately home with beautiful gardens); exceptional service (Julia and Pete went out of their way to ensure we had everything we need - and actually above and beyond on several occasions); absolutely exceptional breakfast (we had porridge one morning and the best scrambled eggs and bacon we've had at a B&B; there is also fresh fruit and coffee / tea / cereals if you prefer - and a menagerie of Australian birds and quendas / bandicoots to watch in the garden eating seeds together while having breakfast), delightful place to stay, and all the usuals in great places - large bathroom with shower, great bed, fan, aircon etc; a 10 min walk to a really great cafe (French patisserie) and restaurant (embers) and 15 mins into Kalamunda centre; nice little bush walk between the two roads also to get there; easy instructions to get in after hours; great pool to cool off after a day of exploring.

There were no bath or cooking facilities (but we didn't need either) so the place was perfect for us.

Loved the comfort and the natural style. We had room 4, it was amazing but we had to leave early the following morning so we were unable to have the breakfast. Shower and Spa was amazing Bed was so comfortable

The Aircon in room 4 turned itself off every 30 minutes. This was so frustrating, we tried every option on the remote and even googled. But it is locked to the WiFi and it would never stay on. This made the room very uncomfortable and was incredibly frustrating as it was quite humid and hot that night. TV was nice but would definitely prefer to see a smart tv that we could stream to or log in to, although the DVD and library was nestalgic. Also maybe slightly bigger TV with better quality picture. 😊

The stay at Rosebrdige was a memorable one for myself and my partner. The accommodation aesthetic, various amounts of greenery and wildlife made it feel like a little getaway into nature. We had two chairs and a small table just outside our room, which encouraged us to sit outside and take it all in. The location had a magical element to it right around golden hour (sunset), and it was very peaceful and serene. Don't be surprised to see numerous quendas (bandicoots) around the property, especially as the sun settles. Sitting still and watching their adventures was a memory I wish I could've captured more. The following morning we met our hosts for the first time, and both were lovely, friendly people. Breakfast was provided, and it was delicious. My partner commented on how well the poached eggs were done! Coffee and tea were provided, and the dining area was situated in a location overlooking a nice patch of garden. The hosts left some oatmeal out, and it was nice to see various wildlife (parrots and quendas) coming so close to our viewing point to grab some food! In hindsight, I wish we could've stayed more than one night! I highly recommend bringing a book or something similar to disconnect from the world while you take it all in when visiting.

There are some small things to be mindful of when staying here. The room we stayed in (suit 5) had skinny walls, and you could hear other guests nearby. This was unfortunate as another guest was coughing quite severely throughout the night. (Not something that can be helped). The location, while excellent, is also near a couple of reasonably busy-ish roads, which can detract from the overall vibe if you are situated in the same suite we were in. As it died down / during the night, it was not noticeable. Lastly, my partner mentioned that the showers not having a glass screen or shower curtain was a bit different. Overall nothing that would prevent us from coming back, to be honest.

This is what he had to say: “It was absolutely beautiful sitting outside my lovely little cottage style room on the verandah setting, watching the wildlife - bandicoots, Australian ringnecks, Kookaburras and Black Cockatoos. The most perfect little place to stay with wonderful hosts and a delicious breakfast everyday. I will definitely be back again! I have told my friends about this little gem that is nestled in the hills.”

I wasn’t staying longer

The hosts were just wonderful. After a busy stay in central Perth it was absolute bliss to stay in this gorgeous place, where the only sounds were the birds. We swam in the pool & had the most relaxing time. The kookaburra, parrots & bandicoots joined us at breakfast, it was wonderful to see them up close. The bed was comfy, the shower great & breakfast fabulous. Stay here, you wont regret it.

rosebridge is situated perfectly for those wanting to visit the national park trail. our stay was lovely with very accommodating hosts and the breakfast was 10/10!

the outdoor area could do with a spruce up! the pool was dirty and unfortunately we weren’t able to use it due to this and the property advertised bbq facilities however it was dirty and greasy with no gas

Perfect location, delicious cooked breakfast, fresh fruit and cereals available. Our hosts were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. It was lovely to see the bandicoots and parrots having their breakfast while we ate ours. Beautiful gardens and pool area.

It would be a bonus to have a bigger fridge, however it was a cold stay so not a problem but it would be good to have a larger place to keep drinks cool in summer.

We spent a night at Rosebridge B&B for celebration of our wedding anniversary. The Summer House that we stayed has a spa and pool view as well as lovely garden bed with ornaments . We had a lovely evening walk with Kalamunda CBD only 1 km away which is close to shops , restaurants and cafe. Great location, excellent classical accommodation and beautiful environment. Delicious and nutritious breakfast, I don't even need to eat lunch after had that breakfast. A bonus of native birds and animals in the courtyard to greet us. Friendly hosts and very good communication, would like to go back again and definitely recommend to family and friends.

There isn't anything that I don't like about the place.

Lovely hoists. Perfect location. Nice facilities. Lovely home/room stile. Nice place.

There is nothing to say here. Everything was perfect. We had enjoying or stay there.

Pete and Julia were very friendly hosts. A plentiful and tasty breakfast overlooking the gardens. Comfortable bed. Olde worlde charm. Spent a couple of very relaxing days here, enjoying the shaded cottage gardens, complete with quite tame wild quendas and parrots, a swim in the pool, and relaxing in the beautifully decorated lounge room with plenty of interesting books, gentle music and a complimentary port. And very impressed that they are using Who Gives a Crap toilet paper. Helping to save the planet one bum at a time. Just a short drive into Kalamunda and its well preserved Historic Village and the northern terminus of the Bibbulmun Track. Delightful stay.
