I really liked the location, the very center, next to Stefanplatz, clean, comfortable room with fresh renovation, comfortable beds, beautiful building with a retro elevator. Delicious coffee, good breakfast, no hot food, but there are vegetables, fresh pastries, boiled eggs, ham, sausage and cheese.

Difficult entry and the main problem is the lack of response to calls and WhatsApp. We received an answer only 40 minutes after the request, and if it weren’t for the help of neighbors from Israel, we would have been standing on the street. And the second problem is the water in the shower, the water pressure is very weak, it is difficult to regulate hot and cold water.

Fantastic location - close to restaurants, shops, St Stephen's Cathedral and main square. Not far from the tourist info office, Hofburg Palace is only an 8 minute walk away and the larger palace a short uber journey away. Also close to the metros. Out of other people in Vienna I met, I don't think you can get any closer, especially for such value for money considering the location. Check in after midday was easy, I was a little nervous but I got the Whatsapp instructions the day before and any question I had late in the evening or before my flight in the morning was answered within seconds - no exaggeration. I was able to get the key out of the key box and the instructional videos were exactly what I needed, the visuals helped. I didn't actually see the staff during my stay as I was doing day trips out that departed at 730 each day - so thank you for being so responsive, we live in a remote working world and perhaps will be the future one day! I felt like if I had any challenges they would have been there or come out to help no problem. Pillows were comfortable and nice big roomy bathroom. Safe in room to keep your things in, and wardrobes. Good hairdryer in bathroom, no need to bring your own. Kettle, cups and tea in room. Nice table at the end of the bed so suitable for working if you aren't on holiday. Feels very secure with the key safes, closed doors and key fob access to the hotel and feels more homely & personal than like a hotel, which as a female traveller travelling solo was a really nice feel. Rooms are very true to photos.

Towels could do with a refresh, going a little hard. The key safe to retrieve the key is a little high if you're 5ft2 or under, I had to stand on my toes :-)

Located right in the centre of Vienna, Pension a und is perfectly positioned to explore this beautiful city. However, the entrance can be a little confusing - you'll need to take the elevator up to the mezzanine level (marked with an M). Room The room was very clean and welcoming. They provided slippers and bathroom amenities like shampoo, which made the stay more comfortable. Breakfast The breakfast spread was a bit limited. There were only a few options like bread, cheese, yogurt and coffee. More variety would have been appreciated given the hotel's central location. Overall While the breakfast could be improved, the convenient central location and comfortable, clean room make Pension a und a good budget-friendly option when visiting Vienna.

Stayed here for 4 nights. My expectations were low but it turned out to be a very nice stay. The location is priceless, the staff is nice and helpful. Everywhere is 2 minutes from the hotel. The rooms are clean, I only wish they'd use newer sheets, pillows and towels. Don't expect too much from the breakfast but it was more than enough for us.

I think the sheets, pillows and towels need renewal.

Located near to St. Stephansplatz. All the museums in the old town are within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was good (European style). Help yourself and take back to your room. Room was clean and ample in size. Staff were very pleasant and spoke perfect English. Need to be aware that this is a pension and not a hotel so don't expect 24 hour staff. Front door may appear to be locked but its just heavy so give it a good push. Once you've been given your electronic key its not an issue,

I especially want to point out that this is the only accommodation in the center of Vienna that has check-in from 2 PM (all the others have check-in from 3 PM, I don't understand why). Given that I had a business conference scheduled at 3 PM, this was of crucial importance for my choice of accommodation. My departure from the hotel was before the scheduled time for breakfast. However, the friendly staff prepared breakfast for me earlier. I am very grateful to them for that, because I got to eat breakfast and be on time for my next travel :)

I have no objections. However, I would like to draw the attention to future guests that they should not throw paper in the toilet and that they should not forget their keys when they leave the room. In several places there is a warning that such cases are fined up to 200 euros.

Location, breakfast, size of rooms, cleanliness

The temperature control on the shower was difficult to manage. There was a lot of noise from building works on another floor of the building in the early mornings. It did not affect us too much, but we feel the Pension should have informed us that the works would be taking place. We feel customers should be given the option to rebook their stay in advance if they are not prepared for the noise.

Nice room in the heart of the city. Maybe for someone the breakfast is not very rich. But for us it was ok. We even had a wine. And yes, they speak Russian which is very unusual.

When you leave you luggage for extra time you leave it just in corridor unattended. Which could not be safe. But anyway we are in Vienna. What can go wrong...

I arrived at the hotel at night and received a response from the staff. The staff was very friendly and helped me navigate the hotel and enter with the code. Overall, the hotel was excellent, a sufficient breakfast, a comfortable bed, which is no less important after a long day of travel. On Friday there was some noise from the renovations upstairs, but I'm sure it will be over by the time you get to the hotel. Strongly recommends. Very central. Close to Ottenbans and subway stations. Thanks to the team!

Noise in the morning, but it's temporary, until the renovations are finished. Enjoy!

the place is directly in the city centre, tube station 5 min, many restaurants, grocery, cafes. We stayed in an apartment, liked the lift, situated in an old building, spacious living room, big kitchen, could be with more equipment. We stayed only for one night so did not used the kitchen. Bathroom is build in a part of the living room, a little smelly. You can not throw toilet paper in the toilet - bigest problem for my children - but we managed. You have to pay 200 eur for the cloged toilet. It would be great to have this information before the reservation. Breakfast - OK, helpful lady at the reception, maybe more vegetables, but for one night stay was OK. You take your plate in to your room with breakfast and eat it there - we liked it very much. TV - few channels all in German language, but we did not come to watch telly. WIFI - good. Bed - I had a godd night sleep, my husband didnt, so it depends. Rooms were clean, a little bit cold. After the reservation they sent us full information in whatsapp how to check in.
