The Pension Stadthalle is a nice possibility to save money and conveniently located. The room was very clean and met my needs for just one night. I personally would not stay longer but if you don't mind "basic" (really tiny bathroom), it is certainly a great choice also for a few more nights. The location just minutes from the Stadthalle, as well as the train station (Westbahnhof), is ideal for train travellers and for people going to a concert. The check-in and check-out is in the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle, just a few blocks down the same road, and the staff is very friendly.

I visited Vienna for a concert in Stadthalle, and the location of the accommodation is absolutely perfect for that. The room had everything I needed for my short stay. The room was clean and cozy. The staff at the reception was very friendly and nice.

The bathroom is a bit small, especially the shower area felt a little claustrophobic. And breakfast for 22 euros is probably a little too pricey, but luckily it's optional, and there are quite a few cafes around the hotel with cheaper breakfast options :)

The Location of Pension Stadthalle is quite good, take Tram 49 and in 10 minutes you are at Volkstheater. Along the Streits - in case you prefer walking - you find a lot of great Cafés and Restaurants. Westbahnhof is also very close, not even 10 minutes walking distance.

Pension rooms can be quite noisy, at night other guests came home talking and discussing loudly, as the walls are thin, you might wake up several times at night. My room was to the garden side, which generally should be very quiet. As the rooms are on the first floor it’s relatively dark, but if you are only there for sleeping it’s okay. Pension is situated in an apartment house about 200 m away from the hotel, so you are totally on your own, not connected to the hotel.

Location: very good location, a few minutes to two U-Bahn lines, the Westbahnhof and some tram lines. Neighborhood: very quiet Room: very clean, enough space (more than expected for **), all the basics, a modern walk-in bathroom. All rooms are located on the ground floor, so no need to climb any stairs. Internet: works OK, once registered it worked for the whole period (as opposed to those nasty limited sessions in virtually all hotels) Staff: very nice, good command of the English language Breakfast: very good food, virtually anything is a bio and very diverse. Very nice decorations (green, sustainability-related) Misc: they have solar panels on two sides of the main hotel (not the one where I stayed) Price: good price/value ratio. By booking a room at the "guest house", but also getting breakfast, I think you are getting the best of both worlds - affordable accommodation and very good food at the start of the day) I would definitely try to get a room here when coming to Wien.

- the building interior is a little bleak (until the light sensor kicks in) - breakfast and other services (e.g. reception, luggage room) in a different building, but that's not such a big deal

Our booking was upgraded to Butiquehotel Stadthalle down the street and we loved it! Such a nice and cozy place to stay. I loved the green concept of the entire hotel, the garden is wonderful. Also, we stayed during a heatwave, but our room was constantly fresh. We even received a vent fan in the room but we didn't need it. Staff was nice and friendly, everything was clean and fresh. The location is excellent, very near underground and train station. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is located 10-minutes walk from the Westbanhof in Vienna which means a very good transport connection with the city center and main sightseeings via metroline U3 and tram. The single room is enough big for on 1 person with a comfortable bed, TV, wadrobe and table and shower. The room is very clean. The hotel provides organic buffet for the breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I liked everything about the stay.

Nice room, actually very nice for a 2-star accommodation. It looked new and was clean. It had everything one might need for a short stay. I was especially happy with the location as the main reason for my visit was seeing a concert in Stadthalle - it was really close.

Nothing, everything was nice. Maybe the bathroom could be a bit bigger, I guess bigger/taller people might have an issue there, but it was big enough for me.

I recommend this hotel (unless you need the luxury of a five star hotel). The staff was very charming and polite 😌 The was small, but comfortable and clean ❤️ The major plus is the location. The hotel is located next to all the sights in Vienna. You can leave your luggage at the hotel even after check-out. Thanks to the hotel staff for the atmosphere and comfort 🥰

for me it was perfect. it's very centrally located, near the westbahnhof, so you can easily get on a train, bus, or strassenbahn to anywhere in town. the room was very quiet and very clean and had all the facilities needed, like towels, hangers for clothes, a chair, good wifi, ... the bed was comfortable and the shower was working well. everything was just right. what i liked most was the staff. I felt very welcome from the moment of arrival. thank you so much!

Personal is incredibly friendly. I came late night without any problems. My room was upgraded to the room in the hotel, because, I think it was late and I was tired :) It was so nice and surprisingly. Personal is also helped me to find the right way to reach the place (I called them from the airport), and gave advised how better to come back to the airport and what places are worth to visit. Breakfast is fascinating! Healthy, good choice, tasty! I am under good impression! Thank you!
