A nice and affordable basic accomodation perfect for people who just need a place to stay in Vienna, but prefer to have privacy unlike hostels. Check in is in the boutique hotel but that means you can leave your luggage before check in time or after check out. No air conditioner but a fan is available and luckily it was pretty cold summer when we were in Vienna

Not the biggest fan of the bathroom design, but not much can be improved anyway. The curtain block most of the sunlight but not 100%. In the mornings, there were somehow a lot of birds and they were even pecking on our windows, which disturbed our sleep.

The room was very cool once the fan was running. Beds comfortable and room very clean. Johanna was very helpful in giving clear directions on how to use the Metro, how to locate the room, and she also booked us a taxi to the airport for our very early flight once our stay was complete. Thank you, Johanna!

The door to the toilet & shower is semi-transparent (when completely opaque would be preferable for privacy) Not ideal. Could benefit from more accessible electrical sockets. Courtyard outside ground floor window was rather unkempt with litter and meat bones strewn around.

Great location close to metro & tram lines as well as Westbahnhof train station which is also the bus stop for Vienna Airport bus. Room is clean & daily housekeeping is available. My request for extra pillow, blanket & kettle were all fulfilled. Check-in is at the more expensive sister hotel 2 minutes down the road & this is also where the luggage storage is

Bathroom was super small & the shower curtain sticks to your body during shower as it is so small. The single room was also very small but manageable. Would be nice to have a small bedside table or more shelving in the room as well as a common area with fridge & microwave.

Value for money. Clean and tidy. Conveniently located near a supermarket several streets away. Staff at check-in hotel was friendly and check in/out process was efficient. Shower was spacious enough for me and water flow is good. WiFi works well.

The tap was a bit difficult to lift up and down, needed more force. Body & hair wash was combined into one kind of soap and located near the water tap which is less convenient to use when showering. Would be better to have it nearer to the shower and add-on a hair conditioner. No kettle.

It was about a 5-minute walk from Vienna West Station, and there was a supermarket behind the facility, so it was very convenient for getting around. To the staff: I forgot the tea leaves I bought as a souvenir when I returned to Japan. Please feel free to use them at the front desk.

The walls are a little thin, so I could hear the neighbors snoring. If you're tired and can fall asleep quickly, it probably won't be that big of an issue.

First of all I would like to praise receptionist who welcomed us. He was really nice and should be used as an example how hotel's personnel should behave. Room was nice and clean, especially having in mind the price we paid for it. Although the bathroom was situated in the box attached to the room, it didn't bother me like I thought it might based on photos.

Pension belongs to the hotel located in the nearby street, so don't forget to do the check in process in the hotel first and then come to the pension building.

Booked last minute, yet found the price very reasonable and value for money! Room was clean, bed was comfy, there was no noise or disturbance. Easy to reach with public transport from the center/train stations etc. The staff at the reception were very friendly and warm (this is rare in this part of the world, so needs to be mentioned :))

The check-in and check-out happens at the main reception which is 200m away in a different street. This may not be a big deal, but needs to be mentioned upfront on the listing. Bigger persons may find the shower too tight to fit in.

Such a lovely accomodation! Rooms are clean and well maintained, everything works just seamless inside. The stuff was professional and helpful (reception desk is in hotel just down the street). Heating was good, there were towels, hairdryer and there was always hot water. Doors open with magnetic cards, which is convenient because they are easy to store in your wallet. Location is good, being close to tram station and metro. It is safe to say that price was bargain for the quality of accomodation. 10/10 would come again.

I have booked to stay in the pension but on checking in I was offered to stay at their hotel as they had a vacancy. The staff was nice and polite. The hotel was really nice and clean. My room was lovely, clean and spacious for a single person. It was also very comfortable and had all the things you expect in a hotel. The only thing they don't have and UK hotel do is a kettle in the room for tea or coffee so don't expect that in there.

The Pension Stadthalle is a nice possibility to save money and conveniently located. The room was very clean and met my needs for just one night. I personally would not stay longer but if you don't mind "basic" (really tiny bathroom), it is certainly a great choice also for a few more nights. The location just minutes from the Stadthalle, as well as the train station (Westbahnhof), is ideal for train travellers and for people going to a concert. The check-in and check-out is in the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle, just a few blocks down the same road, and the staff is very friendly.
