The room was very clean and you have everything you need for your short stay in Vienna in a compact space (hair dryer, fridge, kettle, plates, cutleries, small fan etc.)! The Westbahnhof station is in 10min walk, and from there the city centre is just 10min by underground. It's not like a hotel room decorated in a fancy way, but great for the price you pay.

It's a self-check-in and there's no staff other than cleaning times. They sent us the self-check-in instruction only several hours before our check-in time, when we were already on our flight. We rang the door bell several times and got a small panic as nobody answered. Luckily one of us had an internet connection just after landing and we found the check-in instruction in our email box. As not everyone has internet connection just after entering the country, good if they can send people the information at least 24h before.

I'm not sure when they clean, how they manage this hostel, as I didn't see anyone at the reception (is there?) and the front door was constantly unlocked. There is no daily cleaning, apparently only when you check out the hostel. I didn't see any other visitors either, but every now and then I could hear someone coming in or out. The room is locked/unlocked with a card that is on the table in the room - they send message you what your room number is - you go, enter and that's it. The room has everything - comfortable beds, towels, blankets, a small kitchenette equipped with everything you need, fridge, stove, microwave oven, electric kettle, dishes, TV, internet. The bathroom is very small but clean, the shower is nice, there is liquid soap, hot water, heating, good WiFi. The hostel looks like new or recently renovated. There is a tram stop 150 meters from there for tram lines 52 and 60 which go (after 2 stops) to Westbahnhof train station and are connected to the subway, other tram lines and buses. There are many restaurants and Bila supermarket nearby.

Everything is ok

-It's a good place to stay as have anything you may need during your journey. It has kitchenette inside room, with hobs, microwave, pans, cutlery, fridge, kettle, so you can cook some food if you wish, it also have table where you can eat. Bathroom has hairdryer, shower is quite modern, with good water pressure, room has floor heating (that can be adjusted in a panel). It also has drinks and snacks vending machine in the corridor. -Great value for it's price with a lot of amenities, I would recommend it for few days stay as that kitchen was useful to store food, make some breakfast, etc. -Location is good, around 10 mins walk from big train/metro station, you can reach centre also by tram. (tram is also just few stops away from Schonbrunn). Hostel itself is on quiet, side street, without much traffic, so even if room was directly facing sidewalk it wouldn't bother at all as not much of pedestrian and car traffic. There are many shops and food places on main street.

- I haven't seen any staff around during all stay, reception I guess is downstairs and doors were always locked. I received message upon arrival that reception is open from 9 till 5 and if they are not in there card will be left in the room. Message was in german, so I had to translate it. I was confused as wasn't sure if it means we can come anytime even after 5 and room will be waiting or we have to be there before this time (cause wasn't sure if main door will be opened or will need this card). Main door is free to enter anytime, rooms are secured with cards (card was waiting in open room for us). Just would appreciate more specific information to not have any doubts. - Can't leave luggage after check out as there is no luggage storage/reception was closed.

The value for money stood out. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was well-equipped, featuring a kitchenette ideal for preparing snacks, coffee, tea or even dinner. The shower and toilet facilities were better than I had expected. Its proximity to Mariahilfer Straße made exploring tourist spots easy. Overall, I recommend staying at Hotel Victoria for its value and convenience.

The only minor issue was some noise from passing cars and passersby at night, even though the street is generally quiet.

Very fast and easy check in. There is kitchen in the apartment and it is very comfortable! Everything you need for living is there

Staff didn't talk english - and it was a little bit hard to communicate. In the bathroom, under the washbawl, water flowed from the pipe onto the floor.

The room has all you need for a few days stay. Having a small kitchen in the room was really appreciated as we could make us a hot tea or eat breakfast in the room in the morning. Everything was clean. Hairdryer and washing gel were provided. Good position, we did the 2 days transport card so it was really fast to reach all the sightseeing points.

Everything was good in general, what was not that comfortable for us were the pillows, very high to sleep comfortable, but we managed somehow:).

The room was beautiful, we liked everything, as a bonus we got tea bags and coffee... a very lovely surprise. Everything worked, everything was all right. Very lovely easy walk to Schönbrunn... that´s why we came. We greatly appreciated the wine glasses since we bought a bottle of wine to have with the dinner.

Big noise from the street, both nights and during the day too. It didn´t bother us but with a longer stay it probably would. Please add large tea mugs for breakfast... the small ones are only good for coffee. :-)

Everything was clean and tidy. 20min walk to Schonbrunn Palace, nearly an hour's walk into the centre of Vienna down a shopping street. Very nice property with everything we needed, including a kettle, great shower, kitchenette, comfy bed. Much better than we were expecting

The area wasn't the nicest in Vienna but we had no problems. The door to the street remains open at night. Check-in was confusing, we called the number and they arrived from downstairs after a few minutes but we were a bit at a loss as to what to do when we first arrived.

We stayed in a family room. It can accommodate 6 people (2 bunk beds and one double bed), The room is spacious, with big TV and a dinning table with 4 chairs. During the weekend we managed to find a free street side parking space. As it is officially a hostel, you still get all the bed linens and small and big towel for each bed. There is a vending machine in the hall and washing machines in the basement which you can use. The room was very clean and well maintained, all the furniture and linens looked new. We will definitely book Viktoria for the next visit.

There is no reception or common area in the house, just rooms. The room was left unlocked for us, we had some trouble to lock the door (you have to unlock it with card from outside). As others have mentioned: you can hear noise from the street (but it is a very quiet street), the washbasin in the toilet is small. The only real issue was the double bed size, I am 1.8m and was already on the verge of it. Also the width is not very generous if the couple needs more space :) I ended up using one of the bunk beds.
