The hotel is right in the center, just few mins from the lake. The highlight of our stay is the hotel's sister hotel Alpenblick where you have free access to its spa&wellness area which is absolutely great (sauna, in/outdoor pool and relax area), the hotel is located about 20 mins by walk. Room was clean, nice and spacious.

The curtain in the shower didn't stick to the bath tub so there was always a flooding when taking shower. The hotel has a small parking on a side which cannot be reserved in advance and costs 15€/day, there is also a public parking in the garage (located about 5 mins away), usual price is 24€/day but the hotel can provide an extra discount card which reduces the price to 12€/day. The jacuzzi didn't work during our stay(apparently stopped working right before our stay and there was nobody to repair it). Breakfast was nice and rich however there were the same options every day, for 3 nights stay was quite ok but for longer stays, it can get boring.

Location and staff

Too noisy at night. Curtains are not good. No AC.

nice and spacious room with view over the pedestrian streets and colorful boutiques. Gorgeous crafted wooden bed frame !!! small private terrace.

As usual, a bathtub without a proper non-slippery device is an invitation to accidents, overmore when guests are no longer youngsters! towels could be a bit larger. buffet breakfast ( not included in our room rate) is rather plain, even though there’s plenty of choice but it’s not yummy-like. the hotel can be tricky to be found in the midst of the pedestrian alley. No signs to indicate the exact location.

- No a/c but room had a fan in it and thank God because it was needed - we had two different receptionist, first one didn't give full information on anything, you always had to ask and ask and ask. The second one was very professional, very friendly and superb with information. - location very central and at the famous instagramable hanging umbrellas and less than 10mins away walk to the lake. - very classic austrian style hotel with long history if you are into that sort of thing. - very close to billa (supermarket) Tip: This town wakes up late, so only restaurants in hotels are open early, nothing seems to be open before 9/10am.

- No elevator for 3rd floor (you have take lift to 2nd ans then up you go on stairs) - There's no parking at the hotel (they have a very small one close to the hotel for you to drop your bags and then go to the rathaus parking which is 1-2mins away by car) you have to call them for them to open the barrier to the small parking. - I didn't like the beds (very bouncy and too soft) but that's a taste thing I guess. Overall, I was happy with stay and can recommend.

Fantastic location. Lovely welcome from Kelly with a glass of sparkling wine. She gave us a detailed intro to the town and hotel. Room was clean and beds very comfy. The linen and towels were clean and good quality.

We paid for a better room for our anniversary as it showed seating. Our room didn't have the advertised 2 chairs and small table. There is sadly no table space as the TV is not mounted and took all the space on the counter which made the coffee making a bit awkward. There was no milk for the coffee. We had to take the fridge plug out so we can plug the kettle on. So we suggest sorting out the plugs better and easier for guest. ( wasn't a big issue though) The breakfast was great, but we suggest a better layout. Very awkward moving around other guests. The egg boiler didn't work properly. You had to walk to other side of restaurant to get coffee. But the staff were super helpful to assist with anything.

The location is perfect and in the heart of Zell am see. Easy to walk everywhere. There was some street noise at night due to the events happening around the time of stay but we were able to sleep with the noise of the fan to drown them out. The spa in the basement is perfect. There are 2 saunas, a steam room and hot tub in addition there are several showers. it was fairly new and very clean. I wish I would have visited on the first day but e only realized it as there on our last full day. Also we visited the bar next door (and accessible through the basement). Lovely place, great music and friendly staff. I think it was called Bernsteins. We would come back to this place.

Maybe a tv in the bedroom, but really not the end of the world.

Our room was large , with a mountain view Nice seating corner in the room next to the window Perfect location in the city center -close to the ski lift , stores, restaurants and bars Good restaurant at the hotel and nice spa Ski room to place the skiing equipment Friendly staff Possibility to use the spa facilities in the sister hotel Alpenblick for no extra charge

Unpleasant food smells in the corridor when the restaurant is operating- a better ventilation is needed No mat at the entrance of the room- the floor gets dirty easily

The hotel is located in the middle of Zell am See. It was very easy to rent a ski nearby and visit Kaprun. We left our car at a parking lot located just behind Bernsteins bar for around 15EUR/night.

Our room was right above the hotel/restaurant entrance so some nights were too noisy. We kept the windows shut but it did not help much.
