Expensive I pay a lot for 2 rooms with balconies but I got the balconies with roof viw old furniture No fridge No kettle to make tea

Lovely traditional hotel,spotlessly clean, good breakfast and friendly staff who were very helpful. Spacious room with plenty of wardrobe space and enough hangers for all our clothes . Great indoor pool and health spa.particularly liked walking out of pool area to outdoor patio and sun loungers. Just be aware that hotel is a ten minute walk outside of town and walk is uphill(not too steep) but would definitely recommend using taxi from train station if you have luggage.

No evening meal option was available in July but plenty of dining options in town.

Location is nice directly on small waterfall or running river , directly next to bus stop that can take you to Centre or scmittenhohe in less than 5 mins

The king bas was actually just two single beds next to each other with uncomfortable gap in between :-(

Hotel has a fantastic look from the outside, and the rooms are great too. We got a third floor balcony, so we could see the Zell am see lake. We went in May, but the temperature was 22 degrees.. we had the whole swimming pool to ourselves because no one else was there. Breakfast was good too. Lot of good options to choose from. Reception was friendly too, and gave us hiking trail map, and showed us where to see snow in May! It’s Kitzsteinhorn! We liked the walk up to the hotel from the station, but with bigger luggages, it’ll be a nice small workout.

We loved it! This place was beautiful, clean and close to where we needed to go. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We used the pool and sauna. We really appreciated the welcome cards that gave us free rides on the bus, cable cars and attractions. We also made use of the free bikes. Breakfast was delicious. A great place!! The only issue we had was a noisy neighbour one night, the tv blaring keeping us awake

Everything was great. Location as expected close to ski gondola. A few minutes walk to Zell centre. Had contacted hotel before arrival. Staff and hotel owners helpful with our additional requests. Great breakfast buffet with chef cooking to order. Relaxing lounge bar. Had dinner in hotel twice during stay - great quality. Facilities at hotel were excellent, used pool and sauna several times during stay. Wonderful trip will return to hotel St Georg and Zell.

The breakfast was good and the facilities at the hotel were comfortable. The parking was very convenient and the location lovely - quiet yet walkable into town and the lake.

The hotel advertised a restaurant but was not open for dinner in the evening in May although we were not informed of this unavailability when we checked in or given any recommendations for somewhere to have dinner. The staff were eating dinner in the restaurant though! Luckily there was a great restaurant close by which we discovered- Kreftworks.

The staff at St Georg were wonderful. They couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. It was in a good location for catching the bus up and down into town. The room was pleasant although a bit strange in its layout with the toilet separate from the bathroom and right next to the door into the room. Everything was clean. It did get a bit warm in the room and we had to sleep with the windows open as there is no air conditioning or fans. This did let in outside noises from other rooms with their windows opened too I guess.

Inconsiderate guests who were loud until late and the one with kids who let them run riot until midnight. This was not the hotels fault though.

Perfect location. Close to the city center and gondola. Very nice view from the rooms in the front. We got a room upgrade for free. Great hosts. Very nice lobby and restaurant. Great breakfast. Small but nice and clean pool and spa area. Not crowded at all.

Meals a bit on the expensive side, the restaurant at the hotel can work on the expansion of its menu. Both more and less expensive meals.

+ friendly staff + clean rooms + mini fridge in the room + the CityXpress Ski Lift is close (200-300m) + there is a bus station (Postplatz) where you can take a bus to Kaprun (660 is the number of the bus) or other directions + the wellness center is nice and clean + you can leave your ski stuff at a specific room at the base of the hotel (really nice 👍) + good food at the restaurant + breakfast is a buffet, and you have quite some options + free parking, but not really sure if there are enough places when the hotel gets crowded (there are also some covered parking lots, but for those you have to pay a fee)

- maybe some music at the pool, would be nice (not something loud, of course)
