Very big and comfy beds, I had 2 back surgeries and usually hotel/apt beds are a problem for me. not in this case. sheets were perfectly white and clean and high quality. Patricia was very helpful and handled my request for roses and chocolates for my wife, which were waiting in the room when we arrived.

Since it's an old house, the floors are squeaking. Cleaning is done pretty early in the morning, so if you're a late sleeper like us, you won't get all the sleep you want.

Superb hosts. Paul greeted us on arrival with a map and offered suggestions of places to visit / overview of different areas of the city. It was really useful and helped us get the bets out of the trip. The apartment had lots of character, a cool loft vibe and was ideal for us as family of 4. We travelled by train and was only a 10-15 minute walk with cases and kids from the station. It was a great location for us to head out in the day to explore the city (the same distance back to the train station then onwards into the heart of the city) and then a 30 minute walk to the Sportpalais for concerts on both nights of our stay.

Smell of smoke in the property but not a major issue. It was the only negative aspect about the stay. A lot of stairs to the top room. Absolutely fine for us and Paul offered us help with the cases.

It is not a B&B. It is a welcoming house with that familiar touch that immediately puts you at ease! A wonderful building from the mid-1800s, with original architecture, with refined furnishings, objects and souvenirs of the owners' travels that give character to all the rooms. But the greatest value are Patricia and Paul, the owners, who after a hot cup of coffee welcomed us and told us a little about Antwerp. Something special? Sunday morning waking up to the sound of the piano, fantastic. (We didn't wish your daughter a happy birthday!)

The hosts Paul and Patricia were very friendly and helpful and we recieved a very warm welcome on arrival. We stayed in the studio on the top floor which was superb. Bed was comfortable, the decor was lovely, great shower and we had everything we needed for a really relaxing 3 night stay. This is a beautiful property about 15 minutes walk from the station on a nice quiet street. I would really recommend staying here and we will stay again without a doubt. Thanks Paul and Patricia for your hospitality.

Perfect stay for exploring Antwerpen. The main station is near, everything is easy to access by tram or bus. The most welcoming hosts are always there to help with information (thanks for your patience reagarding the city tax). There is coffee and tea available in the room.

Very nice historical house, very nice and testy arranged. The hosts are really friendly and helpful. To lern them was a big pleasure. Even by the parking problems, they found the solution. They gave many useful information to the communications in Antwerp and tips to the interesting places in this city. The breakfast was very good and worth of its price. Thank you very much!

Beautiful house & very spacy, beautiful & perfectly equipped room; great breakfast; perfect hosts - very friendly & helpful, easy going but reliable. We felt very much at home and were sad to leave!

If the house was slightly closer to the ancient city center, the Schelde and the southern part of Antwerp city center it would be phantastic. You can still walk there, though, but I would recommend for your visit to rent a bike at ´Cyclant` at the Central station (only a six-minutes-walk away; very good bicycles there and very friendly, helpful staff; reasonable prices)

Incredible stay !! Thank you so much to Patricia & Paul ! They welcomed us very warmly. Took care of us with amazing breakfasts with such a nice atmosphere (music, nice discussions, last minutes eggs etc). The house looks amazing such as our room. Thank you so much for making this week-end a lovely souvenir !

The other guests who were unfortunately very noisy in the morning.

Extremely friendly hosts and very nicely designed apartment with separate toilet and a fantastic bathroom. Mosquitos were an issue when leaving windows open. Noisy traffic due to a temporary diverted traffic, otherwise street is quiet. A general comment for city of Antwerp if arriving by car: you need to register your car online prior to entering the city, otherwise you can not buy an online parking ticket (parking is an issue).

the owners are extremely helpful with local insights and tips about the city. the room we stayed in (called black room) was really spacious with seating area and very nicely decorated with books about Antwerp and tea/coffee making options

the location is slightly outside of the city sights that you may want to visit: ca 20 min walk but very convenient to reach from the train station.
