I cancelled because of reading bad reviews about bed bugs and cockroaches. The property owner did not comment about the problem but ignored the cancellation and would not refund the payment they had taken. The owner did not say that the property was clean, so I can only advise people not to book this property. I booked alternative accommodation despite being charged for both.

Good location but hard to locate . No parking yet garage right around the corner to pay and park. Nice breakfast yet not included in bill . Great decor

Very steep steps and we were at the top so it was a difficult climb with suitcases. The room was furnished with antique furntiture yet the carpet also seemed antique (dirty) shag . T he blow dryer was a hose on wall and broken. The room didn't seem as clean as it could be and the air was a bit warmer than we like. Staff is non-existent until breakfast- we had to have a neighboring business help to get us . It is hard to locate.

Location could not have been better. Incredibly friendly and helpful host. Boutique hotel complementing perfectly the Antwerp experience and vibe. Loved it! The cottage we stayed in was amazing value for money, across a courtyard from main building, with 3 floors making the bedrooms (ground and top floor) and cottage completely private.

Ground floor was cold, although cottage was heated - the draft should be sealed to keep warmth in downstairs. The place is absolutely fabulous, but a few details could make it so much cosier and welcoming in the winter (heavier drapes, a blind upstairs instead of curtains to allow radiator heat to flow , more bedding and pillows..).

Location was brilliant - very central to the old town but quiet also. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. I booked the wrong date by mistake and they were very helpful and sorted everything out for us. They allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout - this was very helpful

The stairs were very narrow and steep. This was fine for our family but it wasn't clear in the advert so might be a big issue for anyone with mobility issues. The shower was a bit leaky but ok.

Jason, the host, was so friendly and helpful! Even reached out before our stay to ask if we needed anything. We had the top floor room which had a beautiful view with an awesome terrance to relax on. Very quiet back street but central location to museums, restaurants and sights. Bonus: has Air conditioning! You have to try the two restaurants in the same alley. 'T Hofke and Pelgrimhuis Antwerpen. Reservations are rec. at most places for dinner. But I would absolutely stay here again. Could totally just hang out with Jason at the hotel!

Not necessarily something I didnt like but more of a forewarning.. the toilet room in our hotel room was uhh on the smaller side and with the sink its, well, awkward. Im a thin dude and it was still a tight fit. I didnt mind but yeah just keep it in mind. Room 4. But its understandable with these old buildings. You gotta work with the space you got.

The location and the kindness of the owners was great! Just 2-3 minutes walking from the main streets, it's perfect and you have lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel. The breakfast was also great, and the decoration of the room is lovely.

The beds were not very comfortable and the room was not very very clean. Another point that was not important for us is that there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow. On weekends you can find the street a bit noisy during the night.

The location was great, very close to the cathedral and Grotte Markt and many restaurants. Room was nicely fitted out in old traditional, style with a nice deck.

The room was very pleasant and comfortable but ahem, a ridiculously tiny room for the toilet that barely fit an average sized woman.i don’t know how a larger person would manage. 😳 No lift, tight timber staircase a bit tricky with suitcase.

Let's start with Jason. Jason is the bomb, a force in the welcoming universe, that is all. The location was incredible, the room, beautiful and comfy for real. We did not try the breakfasts there, so cannot comment there.

Personally, "now" me did not enjoy the death stairs up and down to the room. "5 years ago me" would have enjoyed them for sure. I could see how, on the weekends (our stay was during the week, not in tourist season) the location could be rather loud. We did not experience that though

Breakfast was very nice and caring. The staff was friendly and charming. The ambiance is very comforting. The location is perfect. Great value for money. The neighborhood has everything. The KMSKA - museum of fine arts -is a World treasure.

I was promised a different room in the reservation. Each room has its individual charm and layout. Make sure you find your fit and reassure that this is the room that you get upon arrival.

Perfect home base to explore the old town - while still in a relatively quiet side street. If you like eccentric decoration and style - this is your hotel! Most rooms are not huge, but each has a special feature - ours had a balcony. Breakfast is rich and tasty with Muesli, Joghurt, rolls and croissants, but the same everyday. All in all I would recommend the hotel anytime.

Not much to complain here. The communication before arriving was a little difficult (like finding out how to get to the hotel parking), but was fine once there. Do note that the rooms are right off the staircase which is a little creaky. So you notice when people go up or down. If I had to make a suggestion for improvement: It would be nice to get free water in the hotel. The tap water tastes a little funny and the bottles in the minibar are pretty expensive.
