Jason, the host, was so friendly and helpful! Even reached out before our stay to ask if we needed anything. We had the top floor room which had a beautiful view with an awesome terrance to relax on. Very quiet back street but central location to museums, restaurants and sights. Bonus: has Air conditioning! You have to try the two restaurants in the same alley. 'T Hofke and Pelgrimhuis Antwerpen. Reservations are rec. at most places for dinner. But I would absolutely stay here again. Could totally just hang out with Jason at the hotel!
Not necessarily something I didnt like but more of a forewarning.. the toilet room in our hotel room was uhh on the smaller side and with the sink its, well, awkward. Im a thin dude and it was still a tight fit. I didnt mind but yeah just keep it in mind. Room 4. But its understandable with these old buildings. You gotta work with the space you got.

The location and the kindness of the owners was great! Just 2-3 minutes walking from the main streets, it's perfect and you have lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel. The breakfast was also great, and the decoration of the room is lovely.
The beds were not very comfortable and the room was not very very clean. Another point that was not important for us is that there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow. On weekends you can find the street a bit noisy during the night.

Perfect home base to explore the old town - while still in a relatively quiet side street. If you like eccentric decoration and style - this is your hotel! Most rooms are not huge, but each has a special feature - ours had a balcony. Breakfast is rich and tasty with Muesli, Joghurt, rolls and croissants, but the same everyday. All in all I would recommend the hotel anytime.
Not much to complain here. The communication before arriving was a little difficult (like finding out how to get to the hotel parking), but was fine once there. Do note that the rooms are right off the staircase which is a little creaky. So you notice when people go up or down. If I had to make a suggestion for improvement: It would be nice to get free water in the hotel. The tap water tastes a little funny and the bottles in the minibar are pretty expensive.

Location is great, everything interesting nearby, also restaurants etc. We had a wonderful view of the cathedral's tower from our penthouse suite. Very much to be recommended ;-) Of course, the dense inner city / old-town situation in a narrow alley is exposed to lively coming and going and activity from bars etc. - trivial to say, and obvious to every one who is looking for such a central location.

Owner was very nice and provided solid recommendations for restaurants. Location of the hotel was perfect, a few streets away from Grote Markt. Our room had a small balcony which was a nice feature.
Being an older building you could hear other guests on the stairs at night and in the morning but the rooms themselves were quiet. Bathroom was small and a little outdated with only a barn door for privacy.

Great location, right in the heart of the old town and close to museums, restaurants etc. We didn't pay for breakfast.
The rooms were quite small and it was extremely difficult to take any luggage upstairs to the rooms due to the incredibly narrow and windy staircase. Some people would struggle to get there cases up the stairs.

Location and boutique nature of the hotel are superb. Our room had a private deck, which was an absolute icing on the cake!! The host was simply the best, we had a car trouble; Jason called on our behalf and arranged a replacement car delivered, which kept our vacation on track. We loved our stay!
Hotel has no elevator.

beautiful room, brilliant location, super helpful and friendly manager, lovely breakfast!!
if I had to mention one thing (and there isn’t much that can be done about it) it’s that is was quite a noisy night as our room faced onto the alley and people were shouting and talking loudly until the wee hours.

Very quirky hotel (in a good way), excellent location and the owner and manager were very friendly, accommodating and helpful with dining suggestions. This is a small hotel with only 5 rooms which made it very sociable.
There was no issue for me at all. But for those less mobile or with big suitcases the stairs up to 4 of the bedrooms were narrow and steep as you would expect in an old townhouse.

Superb location. Close to everything. Hotel room was lovely furnished with old fashioned furniture. You could feel like in a castle room. Good thing you could help yourself with tea or coffee all day long. Very helpful host. He advised us where to go for dinner and what to see in Antwerp on a Sunday.
All was fine.
