Cosy, picturesque and original little hotel, very close to the very centre of town, nevertheless in a quiet quarter. Our address for Antwerpen! The town is a must for trying great restaurants. A foodie-town, less than 10 minutes to walk from the hotel.
This is in an old and narrow Belgian house, which is one of its charms. However, to reach the three floors with the bedrooms, you have to climb very narrow stairs, no elevator, not easy with luggage. This means, the hotel is not really adapted for elderly people. If you still feel young enough, the is for you. It is a B&B hotel. You need to arrive for check-in in the early evening or have an arrangement with the owner. The hotel has no car park. You can unload your car in front, but then have to park your car in distant public car parks, the closest being expensive ("Grote Markt" ca. 30 EU/24h). I recommend the parking "Brabo", a bit further away (10 min. walk), but a bit more reasonably priced (ca. 23 EU/24h).

We really liked how the hotel was decorated - very unusual and quirky. The many pictures of Marilyn Munro, Brigit Bardo and Audrey Hepburn was a talking point for us, as was the unusual staircase to our room. The room was very comfortable and we liked the view into the neighbourhood square. The breakfast was really lovely, providing a huge range of choices with which to start your day. Our host was very thoughtful and friendly too!
Not really anything, perhaps the staircase as it is quite steep and may challenge an older person. But that’s also part of the character of this hotel!

Nice and easy check in and check out. The room and beds were comfortable and clean. But the best part was the location. We had a view to the -quiet- square in front of us, which was lovely. And of course you're so close to the historical Antwerp area.
The hotel was essentially an old house which was converted to a hotel. 1. It had narrow staircase, which would be a bit tricky if you don't travel light. We saw that in other reviews, so not a big issue for our one-night stay. 2. The bathroom and toilet in our room was made by adding some walls which give you visual privacy, but any sound or smell might be annoying to other people in the room, since there's no isolation.

Very nice and cozy little boutique hotel in the center of Antwerpen. Personnel is very kind, breakfast was cheap and good. Nothing extraordinary, but I liked the hotel’s vibe and atmosphere very much. Breakfast is almost like at home:) + free coffee any time of day or night. Clean room.
1. Toilet is literally in the room:) consider this if you are not comfortable about such intimate things with your partner 2. Not very good construction of the shower, water was pouring first on the floor and then going to the room because as I have said bathroom is literally in the room. 3. No slippers in the room

This is a very well located property in the historic centre a short walk from the Cathedral and in a quiet square. There is a quirky quality to the decoration and a nice laid-back feel to the place.
The room we had had a very odd layout, in which the bathroom was between the windows and the bedroom, There was little in the way of privacy and scents travel; so, timing is an issue when using the WC. This is not a property for the infirm or those carrying heavy cases The stairs are some of the steepest I have encountered, with the modern spiral into the entrance area so riddled with H&S don't do's that even I thought it pretty dodgy. I'm amazed it passed whatever planning regs there are!

Camp aesthetic, very welcome and refreshing. Very kind stuff, and the rooms are extremely clean. Housekeeping is working really hard and it really shows. The location is great as well.
It's on old, Flemish building, so poorly isolated from noise and the elements. For breakfast there are no warm options. The stairs leading to the rooms are very steep, so I would not recommend the hotel for anyone with reduced mobility.

I liked the location very much. The hotel room is fantastic too. And the staff, super nice. The atmosphere is very much personalized into some kind of Marylin Monroe temple, with all the decoration motives very nicely arranged.
Just one thing, and it's because the building is a nice old one: if you are not a bit fit, you will have to grab yourself well when climbing the stairs to your room :-)

If you find a natural tendency to gravitate to the old town district during your city breaks, but enjoy the option to take a few steps away and enjoy the peace of a good night's sleep. then this charming and quirky little hotel might just fit the bill. Here you are a 5 minute wander form the delightful bustle and beautiful architecture of the historic centre, full of the sense and sights of old world Antwerp with it's river, churches, and castle. And all the life too: cafe's and restaurants, the big tourist squares, shops and people that grant a city it's unique and memorable feel.
They couldn't provide a vegan breakfast but were kind enough to suggest places where we could either eat out of buy provisions. On the second morning a lady we hadn't seen before came to set up the dining area for breakfast and was quite indignant that we should sit and eat our own food there. But considering there is no-where else to sit, and as customers we were entitled to the (excellent) free coffee, that seemed rather unfair and deeply unwelcoming. But a minor blemish on an otherwise well recommended stay.

Never been to Antwerp, loved the city and we like to stay somewhere that will give a story to chat to your mates about after, can't get that from a chain, they are all the same. Urban dreams is a very quirky in a good way, smallish room but more than adequate for our requirements, sleep. Breakfast was really good as well
Bathroom not a separate room, dividing wall but popped outside whilst other person used the facilities for a bit of privacy, ground floor room was a bit noisy when a late guest arrived with a loud voice, we know where he came from in the US, when is wife would arrive, ah well can't have everything

Really nice room and located in a wonderful square. Close to everything!
Our only complaint is that it got loud at night with people walking by and yelling, which is no fault of the hotel. But we had to keep the windows open bc otherwise it was uncomfortably warm in the room
