Right in the centre of the lodge town with secure bicycle parking and a wasbar 100m away makes it perfect for bicycle touring

The stair to some rooms are steep so make sure you get a room you can access plus it is noisy at night because your in the centre of the party zone which is great from most people.

We loved everything to be honest. The location is unbeatable, directly in the heart of the city, next to the cathedral, late night check in via telephone was super easy and friendly, our room (9) was elegant , big enough for 3 , newly renovated bathroom and a very special view of the cathedral, which was amazing! The whole interior, starting at the entrance hall, leading to the breakfast area, is stunning and full of wonderfully antique furniture. Both owners, Peggy and her husband were such sweet persons and made us feel so welcome from the beginning. And btw, parking was easy, convenient and not too expensive at the nearby Groenplats garage!

Actually everything’s perfect- if we go to Antwerp again, we’ll definitely book this room again!

The location was amazing! When you get off the train, in their beautiful train station, you walk about 1 mile through a shopping/dining district that is more touristy than the location of the hotel. The hotel is across the street from the spectacular Cathedral of Our Lady, which has 4 Peter Paul Rubens paintings, and within about 50 feet of the Grote Market, a cool place to sit outside in the evening for dinner. Don't miss an evening stroll when the cathedral and other buildings in Grote Market are lit up.

Can't recall anything much. Well, one thing--toilet tissue. If you're staying more than a day, stop and buy your own.

Loved, loved, loved my stay at Mezonvin! Peggy and Wim are lovely hosts; I was travelling on my own and they gave lots of tipps of things to do and places to go. The hotel is right in the center of Antwerp, next to the Cathedral, perfect for venturing out and getting to know the city. Also, although there are quite a few pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, the room was nice and quiet, the bathroom and shower very spacious. I can also recommend the fantastic breakfast, with lots of choice, served in a lovely, quirky room. Thank you Peggy and Wim!

The location was amazing. The hotel owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a great view.

No one was at the hotel when we checked in at 3pm. It was a little disconcerting walking into an empty room full of laundry, without knowing how to check-in. It turned out perfectly fine once I called the owner. But in the future, it would be helpful to have a note or instructions on the table. Also, not having baskets of laundry at the front door would make us feel more welcomed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on top of a spring. I didn't actually sleep at all because it was so uncomfortable.

Thé breakfast was lovely, the owner Peggy and her husband made us welcome and helped us with choices of where to go and where to eat. The hotel was full of lovely paintings and old furniture, beautiful. Not the usual type found in hotels, they took a pride in their home/hotel.

Perhaps a lift but the stairs to the 2 nd floor were manageable

The breakfast was outstanding. The owners (Peggy and Wim) prepared everything freshly especially for us, adapted to our likings. Also, they offered us very delicious jam with ingredients from their own garden. Also, the owners personally took care of us and managed to create a family-like feeling for us. Also, the advices for things to see in the city were really good and helpful. The interior design and furniture of the hotel is very vintage and creates a very special cozy atmosphere for the guests. Warm colours and lighting - we were feeling very well!

Location is as good as you can get. Right by the Cathedral and steps from Grote Markt. The owner, Peggy, is very helpful allowing us early check-in and holding our bags on the day we checked out. We opted for the lovely breakfast in the beautiful dining room and really enjoyed the spread and food.

Location is great during the day but at night you do get noise from all the bars and pubs that are nearby.

Perfect location behind the Cathedral and the host was very helpful on arrival when we need to change rooms due to stairs. There is a beautiful lounge/bar area but it was closed when we were in the accommodation apart from arrival.

Stairs were very steep to our room and my friend struggled with them being open due to a phobia. They are having issues with a bar next door and we had a terrible nights sleep on the Sunday and had to get up at 6am to catch a train...music started at 10.30pm and ended at 3am, it sounded like the DJ was in our room. hopefully this issue will get resolved and I assume it only relates to the rooms at that side of the hotel so would check when booking.

The location was wonderful, only a few steps from food, drinks and entertainment. The room was clean and very authentically European. Room 3 is very private as it looks directly onto the Cathedral

The noise. We were there on a hot night. we could get a great breeze going by opening both the bathroom and bedroom windows. Unfortunately that brought in the street bar noise which continued very late into the night. So… if you are ready to stay out and party late the room is perfect. If the host added an air cleaner to move the air it would be a perfect place to stay.
