It was one of the most intimate of our hotel experiences abroad. Even if you are not staying, I would love you to go and meet Veronica. She is a very helpful and thoughtful person in everything. We will definitely come again next year with more people.

The room was spacious and everything spotless clean. Single beds were comfortable although the extra bed for our son was not so much. Veronika was very helpful. Breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel. Location is perfect, close to Gondola and also to city centre.

The extra bed of our son was a bit uncomfortable. Towels are not changed every day and I suggest that this is communicated to the guests beforehand to manage expectations. The fact that there is no lift, hence having to climb 3 flights of stairs every time we needed to go to our room is a drawback.

The location is in a quiet area but close to the gondola, 5 minutes' walk away. In the courtyard of the location there is a private parking lot, sufficient for the number of rooms. Excellent breakfast, served from 7.30. There is a room for storing ski equipment. It is a 3-star location, very fair, those who have whims will satisfy them elsewhere!

I have nothing to complain about.

The property looked better in reality than it did in the pictures. Veronika was the kindest, most polite and helpful host we've had in a while; she provided us with discounts on various services and taverns (including the Therme spa), and the occasional glass of wine on our game nights. The breakfast was tasty, diverse and perfect for a long ski day. The parking is big enough and the slope within a 5 mins' walk (wearing ski boots). I fully recommend!

The host, Veronika, is an amazing person. She was very helpful, kind, always gave us indications and help. The hotel has a large enough ski room at the ground floor and a huge parking, so there is no stress with finding a parking space. There were minor things which needed to be fixed in the room when we arrived, but Veronika was very prompt and solved the issues immediately. Overall, a nice, 3 stars hotel and very good value for money. 4mins walk to the main gondola (around 250m). The breakfast variety was just enough to have a proper meal, many dishes were changed from one day to another (so not the same food served every day) - which was a really nice touch. Also, there was something homemade every day. Overall, a very good experience.

everything was alright

The a really are a family hotel and treat you like a family. Any issues I had were solved in seconds. The location is really good. Close to the lift but not on the main street so your sleep is not disturbed by the music. The rooms reflect the price but if you're skiing you don't need anything else.

Veronika and Monika were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and it was like staying with friends and family. Location to the town and Gondola was perfect. Not a 5* hotel but they don't pretend to be. Perfectly comfortable for a week skiing at a hugely reasonable price. Thank you so much.

The only improvement would have been for breakfast to have been served from 7am. 7:30 start was too late to have breakfast without rushing to get the the gondola before the queues were huge.

Bariakov family hotel is an amazing place to stay! You feel welcome and at home quite instantly. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is good! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. :) Glad to have stayed there! Totally recommended.

If I'd change one thing, it would be the lighting. Bedside's lamp bulbs where too white and too bright.

Brilliant hosts and a warm welcome. Veronika says the hotel is not a 5 star but I'd give the hospitality from herself and sister 6 stars. A nice breakfast was included with our booking and it's a great location for the gondola. Will defo be back next time we visit Bansko.

Far too near to some really good restaurants and takeaways so unfortunately I am now a few pounds heavier...this is completely my own fault. :D

This hotel is in an excellent location for skiing and the hotel provides a place for storing and drying ski gear so it's super convenient. Also very close to good restaurants, shops and everything you need. Staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Comfortable rooms and nice breakfast and the hotel was nice and quiet place to rest and relax. I would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend to others for great value and location.
