The location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to the Royal Palace and beautiful views from the rooftop pool. It's on a nice little street too with various bars, pizzeria, bagel shop etc which catered nicely for our family's needs. The room was spacious and the beds were the comfiest we've ever slept in. We were worried about the lift being noisy as our room was directly next to it, but we couldn't hear the actual lift it was just the pinging every time it reached a floor which was loud and annoying. We always travel with earplugs though so once they were in it wasn't a problem. Breakfast inside was basic for a western diet (but we are in Cambodia so that's fine by us) but the egg station located outside was a bonus and meant we were full every morning. The only real downstairs for us was that the pool closed early (6 or 6:30) as the roof is then more of a restaurant/sky bar so we missed a cool off on arrival and our refreshing swims when we arrive back late after a long day out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

The pool closing early compared to others which stay open till 10pm

Le Botum was beyond our expectations. The location was fabulous, excellent views, close to many attractions and walking distance to street food and restaurants. The beds were so comfy and the linen was excellent quality. The pool bar and happy hour 2 for 1 deals were fabulous. Excellent value for money.

Only having 1 key meant we had to get reception to open our door too many times as my husband and I weren't always out together! We could have done with another chair on the balcony. Language barrier was frustrating at times. Breakfast needed a better variety and often when busy, foods ran out and weren't replaced for people who wanted a later breakfast.

(1) Love the bed, it's so soft (as our preference) and also clean. The room is also bright as the big windows. Awesome. (2) The check in process is fast. The staff also give brief explanation regarding the breakfast time, pool time and others (3) The rooftop view is awesome. But the pool is too small and surrounding by table from their resto.

(1) The breakfast is standard, they only provide one long table for food inside and one egg and noodle station outside and small table for drinks (2) The finished wall of the bathroom is cement grey, i don't know it's unfinished or not. But the bathroom is clean and they provide soap, toothpaste, etc. in adequate amount.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are a good size with a nice bathroom. We stayed here twice and both rooms were very nice. The staff are friendly and the pool on the roof is beautiful to relax. The morning breakfast is very good, plenty of choice and served with a smile. The location is perfect. Very close to everything but also nice and quiet still. I have stayed in over a dozen PP hotels and this is definitely one of, if not the best i've been in.

Pool maybe a little small but very nice to relax there and have a dip regardless.

The hotel is an easy walk to the sights around, including the waterfront. The view from the top deck was outstanding as was the pool in the same location. Tuk tuks were easy to get and cheap. While the breakfast was nothing outstanding, it was good enough, with your own "egg" man to cook the eggs. The bedrooms were absolutely huge.

The surrounding area was a little bit on the untidy side, but we were in the middle of the city, so its understandable.

Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really nice, the room was comfy and clean and the shower was lovely!

The rooftop pool set up was a bit strange. The majority of the space was dedicated to the restrobar which only allowed space for 3 x sun loungers. 2 tier design meant the pool is in the shade after noon. Therefore, the pool itself is slightly redundant. Especially as the restro bar is very quiet and there would be little chance that all table and chairs would be full. Despite that, the views are amazing.

This hotel is in an excellent location in Phnom Penh. We loved the lane, restaurants and the atmosphere. The hotel is very comfortable. Our family suite was quite spacious with a beautiful view of the Royal Palace. The breakfast, particularly the noodle soup was delicious. The pool and the view are incredible. We loved our stay here.

We had a few plumbing issues- the toilet hose broke but was quickly fixed. The shower has amazing pressure but the hot water lasts about 3 minutes. The cooler shower was refreshing nonetheless.

Very central location, stunning 360° view from the rooftop swimming pool, kind personnel, large comfortable rooms. The breakfast selection is larger than I could read in the comments: orange juice, fresh fruits, bread, jam, butter, rice, chicken, sausage, baked beans, ham, eggs (fried, omelette etc...), asian noodles, salad, coffee, tea... I'm not sure what else you could really need. We stayed 3 nights then 1 night again later. Both time it was perfect.

A really nice, comfortable hotel on a great location in Phnom Penh. The swimming pool at the rooftop is grea and you can have a drink with an incredible view over the city. The room is cleaned everyday and you get free new towels, water, tea and coffee. The breakfast is good. But most of all: the staff is so friendly and always wants to help. Thanks so much!

Loved the location. I mean no matter where you are in Phnom Penh you can not walk by foot but here at least the Royal Palace and the National Museum and the river promenade are really reachable on foot. And the Skybar and the pool are just amazing.

The room that was attached to the holeway was not soundproof at all. So you could hear every single nose and that made sleeping a bit difficult for those who are light sleepers in my family.
