As always, the property was walking nearby all shops, restaurants and pub street! It was easy to get a tuk-tuk or a taxi for long-distance tour trips.

The pool is too small and there is no gym in the hotel. The ambience of Petal Spa has much room for improvement to attract guests to it. If one intends to take the hotel VIP bus to other parts of Cambodia like Siem Reap or Sihanouville, I would suggest one to think twice as it is not comfortable and neither is it clean. The air-con of the bus is terrible, you can hardly feel the air. The ticket is USD13 to both cities mentioned. Try Giant Ibis and book your trip online. I reckon it’ll be a much better choice.

It's a great place to stay in Phnom Penh. It's in a good neighborhood near restaurants and services. The staff is helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. I would stay there again.

My room was at the front of the property, facing the main alley. There were terrible dogs barking outside half the night, making a terrible commotion. Get a room in the back away from the miserable barking dogs.

This hotel is located down an alley away from the street, a few minutes walk from the Independence Monument, and is surrounded by a cluster of small restaurants and bars. My room was clean, with a comfortable bed, a good shower, efficient & quiet air conditioning, and a safe that could hold up to a 17" laptop. A good varied breakfast is served each morning in the restaurant on the top floor, with a view across city rooftops. The restaurant is open to the public for the rest of the day, and apparently it has a good reputation - there is also a pool on the top floor, but I did not use it. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, speaking good English, except for the staff when I checked out. There is a convenience store one block south of the hotel.

On one night there was quite a lot of noise coming from outside the hotel, but fortunately this did not last much beyond 1am. The only other downside was the seating in my room, which comprised an uncomfortable heavy wooden chair, which made my back hurt, and a bench seat that was a bit too low to be comfortable, and not long enough to stretch out on. Oddly, the room description on booking.com includes a "tumble dryer", but there wasn't one in my room - I think they might mean a "hair dryer".

The infinity pool on the roof was such a lovely treat, especially in long term travel. It’s a bargain for the layout - steps on the water, as well as day beds partly on the water, and views, with food and drinks available at the push of a button. I spent almost my last whole day there for a much needed rest :) The rooms, Wi-Fi, and staff were great as well! Location is quite central.

Location is good, plenty of restaurant around and easy to get a tuktuk. Breakfast was ok, and restaurant food was good even though a bit pricey. Room was clean, The bed was comfy. Staff is friendly, got a cold drink and cold towel when checking in. Swimming pool area is lovely with big umbrellas to protect from the sun

Wifi is bad

The music from the bar nearby was resonating in our room. The location is very dynamic with restaurants and bars and the buildings are very close so that's not surprising, and it didn't last all night long. It didn't bother my husband and I but I wanted to highlight it for people who need total silence in their room to fall asleep.

Nice, modern hotel with an amazing rooftop swimming pool! The room was big and very modern. We had a small balcony on the side street. The breakfast buffet has a good choice and varies daily.

There was a construction site next to the hotel. The room's curtains should be darker.

Great location in the centre of the city but is located down a small side alleyway so it's very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The roof top restaurant and bar are fantastic. Great views of the city and the food was superb . Loved the swim in the roof top infinity pool. Highly recommend this boutique hotel and if I go back to Phnom Penh I'll definitely stay there again.
