I stayed two nights in an apartment suite (bedroom, living space and kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, kitchenware, 1.5 baths) and one night in a normal room. For the price, it was a great boutique place with wonderful indoor and outdoor space, nice non-standard furniture, and non-standard rooms. The apartment suite was especially nice, with really good lights and windows. The hotel is also environmentally friendly, reducing the use of plastic and other unnecessary stuff hotels usually put out for guests. Drinking water comes in recycled glass bottles. There is a vegan restaurant/bar, a really nice study/library area, and a small gallery on the premises.

The only complaint I can see is since it is not a chain hotel, the amenities are not always there, e.g. reception hours, a full range of toiletries, no gym, no easy laundry nearby although there is a service at the hotel.

I loved my room, I had a double on the second floor. The space was quiet and clean. There was a fan and an aircon. Additionally, there was a very small fridge that you could plug in. Location was in an area of town that seemed to attract a lot of tourists, but also a lot of locals who are into arts and live music. Super central! The gallery and community library were really cool too.

The restaurant was just ok to me.

I loved the atmosphere in the café/restaurant and the calm and almost boutique feel of the room I was in. I found it instantly relaxing. It was very clean and comfortable. Ceiling fan much appreciated. Nice bathroom. I'd stay again.

Very minor point - toilet was on a little step and so my feet dangled when I was on the loo (I am not short)! Made me chuckle each time though and wouldn't put me off booking again!

Very clean, spacious room with great air con. The toiletries were also lovely! The library is a nice place to chill out. 5 minute walk to Aeon Mall and Bassac Lane.

There were quite a lot of mosquitos in the room and in the eating area but that can’t really be helped. I think there is a dog kennels nearby so a few dogs barked through the night.

I think this is one of the most pleasant little hotels in Phnom Penh. The inside garden is very special, a lovely quiet ambience. The food is especially good, and you can open your window to the fresh air overlooking the garden. Also, the hotel was really quiet, so I slept peacefully. In back, there are a lot of old books and a cozy space with to do some work.

YK Art House felt homely. I felt very relaxed while I was staying there. The staff were very friendly. The vegan restaurant is delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Amazing library. Cute pool surrounded by trees and tropical leaves. Bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. A small space on the landing for yoga. I would stay here again, definitely!

Please replenish the water in the room daily.

Small Boutique Hotel. Many good restaurants & shopping within walking or a quick TukTuk ride away

3rd time at this hotel. If sensitive to noise when trying to sleep, probably should request a room in the back of the hotel away from the alley it sits on

Location are not so easy to access and night. Also they locked the gate at night, its a bit uncomfortable by that cos u need to wake the guard everytime u went in and out

they don’t have check in staff after 8pm, but they did arrange for me to get into my room. water went out for a few hours but that’s a city problem.

Its fine hotel with nice patio. Drinking water was freely available, wifi reasonably strong, air conditioning strong. Pool is just to cool down the patio

Im not vegan. Only vegan restaurant means I can hardly chose a meal. But its personal preference, not something I criticise
