We've booked a 2 Queen bed room and it was great. There's one queen bed as we enter, with the bathroom and tea area in the middle which connected with the other side of a bigger queen-bed room. Our room is roomy with enough privacy especially for 2 different families. It's facing a quiet street on the ground floor which is great for seniors. Breakfast was included in our price and food is great with lots of choices. The hotel may look old on the outside but it was newly renovated with 2 small hot tubs and a small sauna room. The lobby has a small coffee shop and a descent waiting area with a fireplace. Though it is located at the other end of Banff Ave but only 30 mins walk to Fairmount Banff Hotel. Everywhere is easily accessible by walking here and there.

Restaurant is a bit small and thus the food tables are small. If expanded, there can be more room to serve juices and fruits etc. It's very busy during breakfast time.

We loved our stay at Banff Aspen Lodge (as part of our Honeymoon in April). The complimentary breakfast was great value, we always had a variety of foods to keep us full while skiing (rotating oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal). The location is excellent - easy walking distance to all the restaurants in downtown. April is definitely the time to visit in terms of value for money - there was ample free parking available at the hotel. We loved having a proper barista made coffee at White Bark every day. Spacious shower and double sink.

The TV reception was poor - cut out often. Strange configuration of bathroom - hard to open the door to shower & toilet, very pokey, however this was compensated for with the extra large size of the shower.

I really enjoyed the walkability to restaurants, transit and the grocery store. Our room had 180 mountain views looking over Banff Ave and the staff were excellent. At all service points, the staff were knowledgeable, professional, helpful and kind in their greetings.

Not much to say here, everything was great. Two points for improvement: Two bottles of water in the fridge would have been a nice touch. The days reached 28-30C while we were there. The beds were clean and comfortable however the pillows were a bit fluffy for my liking so to have a set of flat and a set of fluffy pillows (rather than all 4 fluffy pillows) would have been ideal but overall as mentioned above, the staff were great, rooms clean and spacious and the views and walkability were perfect.

The room was modern, quiet and well equip. It was large with enough space for suitcases and sporting gear. Parking was a breeze and the location amazing to town centre. The spa is hot and steam room a bonus

There's not enough seating at breakfast. On the first day we went down there was a 20+person wait for tables to be freed however we were told his was due to a tour bus. We waited 30 mins to be seated and almost missed our tour to Lake Louise. People were taking plates back up to their room to eat and then back down for more food. We knew what to expect the subsequent days of our stay

The 2 queen size beds were separated in 2 sections of the room with the bathroom in between. Each “bedroom” has a TV, and there were 2 wash basins outside the bathroom. The breakfast is standard though not exceptional. The location is excellent.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. All four were same size filled with tiny cubes of foam. The surface was uneven and lumpy. I ended up removing all the pillows replacing them with a rolled up bath towel to support my neck and head. It was an uncomfortable night and I did not sleep well.

Very nice staff, the room was clean and big enough, very cool soap accessories, good location right on the main street, everything you need was present in the room, there is parking

Breakfast is quite poor for such a price for a room, rooms on the ground floor with access to the street are not very comfortable, since the windows immediately face the main street, we changed the room to the floor above

The hotel was really good, super clean, no issue. It's a really good price point for what you get. The daily breakfast was a bonus.

1, The night staff could be a little more friendly. It felt like any questions we asked or had were a bother to one specificly. The younger lady working nights was polite and had over all a helpful attitude. 2, Having one small microwave in a hotel that size in a small room next to reception is not really a good idea, especially since the room feels like a cleaning/storage room for the cafe. My opinion is to put two in the vending machine room on the second floor. 3. I'm not too sure why, but l wore black in the spa, and my shirt and my friends' shorts and bleached noticeable red tinge. It's probably worth mentioning it to guests on a notice. Other than that. Great place. Would recommend to all.

Absolutely superb - this place is a real gem. The room was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. The common areas were equally chic. The breakfast was the best I have seen in an hotel for a long time with an excellent selection of hot and cold foods. The location is good with the hotel being on the main street of Banff. The staff were friendly and helpful. All round, it was just excellent.

The only thing that I could fault them on was not giving me anything to fault them on! And I normally find something. Well done!

Well located with a short walk to the shopping and restaurant area. The breakfast restaurant had a variety on offer and was pretty good. Thanks to David who gave us fantastic service and lots of tips on what to see in the area. Loved sitting around the fire in the foyer and the carpark was handy also. The hot tub was great.

The menu in the cafe could be expanded to offer some healthy options and sandwiches. They ran out of hot chocolate two days in a row.

I was cautiously optimistic about staying here after learning that the hotel is under renovation but it barely impacted my stay. I was impressed from the very start, being able to check in over 2 hours earlier than the listed check-in time. The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully updated. The hot tubs are large, clean, and sufficiently hot - a perfect way to end a cold winter day. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of my stay was the breakfast buffet. I was blown away by the quality of the food and coffee and the servers were so nice and attentive.

My only complaint is the lack of garage parking but the covered outdoor parking behind the hotel is sufficient to keep the snow off your car.
