Overall, the hotel and room are clean (except one spot) Location is great, can easily access to shops, restaurants, nice spots like Bow river. Hotel provides parking spaces and washing machine (with complimentary detergent and dryer sheet 😊 (but if the price for parking can be lower for hotel guests and/or complimentary if stay more than x nights will be perfect)

Sofa bed is uncomfortable and underneath the sofa bed was not clean. Lots of dusts when we prepared the bed. With the premium room price, it'd be nice if breakfast is included, in.addition to the (already have) coffee and hot chocolate at the guest lounge.

Great location. Lovely clean good size room. Comfortable bed. Great rain shower head in the walk in shower. Staff super friendly and helpful to book and print tickets for the Banff gondola and Park Pass. No breakfast onsite but plenty of options in the town. Nesters supermarket nearby was perfect for picking up a sandwich/drinks to take on our drive on the Icefield Parkway the next day. Be aware Moraine Lake is only accessible by shuttle from 2023, no private vehicles. Book a shuttle well ahead!

The location of this hotel is great - right in the centre of Banff. Good parking facilities. The staff at reception is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.

- we could use the gym, pool and jacuzzi of the sister hotel opposite the road. Those facilities were outdated and the bubbles in the jacuzzi did not work. The gym room was tiny and equally in need of a refurbishment - The mountain view from the room was a bit disappointing. The view is mostly the road with a large hotel (and often tour buses with a running motor in front of it). Only a bit of mountain behind the buildings.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous and the staff were so friendly and helpful (and mostly Aussies!). Immaculate room and facilities, close to everything, warm (even during the day it got to -25 Celsius), quiet and easy to access. Getting around town and surrounds was easy by foot and the Roam bus service. All of the restaurants and shops are within 5-10 minute walks, and all exceeded our expectations. 4 nights was the perfect length stay to enjoy most things and we had the perfect white Christmas. We would also recommend White Mountain Adventures for snowshoeing and ice walking trips. Had a brilliant time over all, we will definitely be back.

Very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, spacious room with small kitchen area. Big, powerful shower. Modern, new interior. Parking onsite, and laundry room. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location so close to shops, restaurants and riverside walks. Close access to train and highway to visit attractions.

At check-in we were not told about the things the hotel has to offer ie. Free hot drinks in lounge area, access to sister hotel opposite for breakfast and swimming.

It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. The staff were very friendly. The room and hotel in general were very aesthetically pleasing. The kitchenette area was well lit and laid out and we appreciated the amount of storage within the room! The rain shower head and jets were a very nice feature in the shower.

The bed was quite soft, and the pillows (although I am sure were initially very nice) have been washed enough times they have become lumpy and hard, and weren’t overly comfortable. Also the duvet cover was a rough texture and slippery material so it continuously slid off the bed while we slept each night. So although the king bed was spacious which was nice, neither my husband nor myself had a good quality sleep any of the four nights we stayed. Since it is quite a new property I was a little shocked to see a lack of usb/charge cord outlets, as those are becoming a very common amenity at most hotels, including older ones which have had some upgrading done! And although the room was pleasant looking, it was a tad overpriced for the size of it.

August 2022

We stayed at the Peaks Hotel for a week in August 2022 for our Banff wedding during a very busy post-covid travel season. We had booked our room in August 2021, and the reservation was ready and waiting for us And our guests a whole year later. The hotel is very beautiful and modern, and located a block away from the busy Banff ave, so it was a bit quieter while still being within 5 minutes (or less) walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Banff. The hotel - rooms, parking access, elevator usage and room access - operates effectively with the surprisingly easy-to-use Flexipass app, so moving around was easy and secure (guests are still provided standard hotel keycards). The rooms themselves are very modern inside, with a lot of variation. We had a 3rd floor room with a magnificent view of Cascade mountain. Our guests had different varieties including first floor outdoor patio seating areas or a room with an upstairs loft. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was always polite and courteous. Housekeeping was very consistent and respectful of our privacy, and the hotel encourages environmentally frie We highly, highly recommend the Peaks. It is can worth the price for its location alone. But the amazing rooms, and excellent hotel staff made for an unforgettable stay and we will be sur

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in excellent location with safe underground parking. Rooms were very clean and hotel looked brand new. It was very quiet and we could not hear any other guests- not sure if that was because it wasn't at capacity or if rooms were really soundproof, overall a positive experience. Would definitely stay again.

One downside is that I had requested a room on a higher floor, they said they couldn't accommodate because I didn't pay for that type of room. I do understand, and would have appreciated a higher floor and most hotels do accommodate if rooms are open. We stayed 4 nights so perhaps there wasn't a room for that length of time. The central heat-ac unit was extremely loud and had only one fan speed-- it was so loud we turned it off as the weather was fairly temperate, but given we were on ground floor we didn't feel comfortable living patio door ajar. Had we been on a higher floor, I would have just left door open. It did face street, and would have rather heard slight noise than the loud a/c. Surprised for it being new hotel that the a/c wouldn't have been more sophisticated.

Obviously looked after, possibly recently renovated. Staff very helpful and friendly; we had to move rooms due to an issue with a clogged drain and they took care of us, can't fault them and we'd definitely stay again

Only downside was no restaurant on site, however they had a deal with the hotel opposite to use their amenities and the room had a kitchen space if you wanted your own food so not really problematic

Great Hotel Experience!! This is by far the best hotel experience in our 4-week trip around North America and Canada. The entire Front Desk Team were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we walk through the Hotel Lobby we were always greeted with a friendly smile. The rooms are modern and tastefully appointed with high-quality furnishings and are spotlessly clean. This was the only hotel we encountered that supplied a hot water kettle in addition to a coffee machine which we found very convenient when it comes to making a cup of tea or hot chocolate.
