Our stay at the Mountain View B&B was really enjoyable - the B&B is beautifully and tastefully furnished, and although the rooms are a little on the small side, they are perfectly comfortable and adequate for a short stay. The breakfast was perfect for our needs - there was a range of options to choose from, which included beautiful freshly baked muffins each morning. The host was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating, and extremely helpful. The location was perfect - in a quiet, tranquil part of Banff away from the hubbub of the city center, and yet only a few minutes walk from the center.

Nice location - 5-10 minute walk to the main ROAM transit bus hub (High School and Elk St West stops) and all the shops and restaurants. Also about 5-10 minute walk to the start of the Banff Marathon. Breakfast was provided in the common area/sitting room (bagels, muffins, milk, coffee, tea), and there was a large refrigerator available to store the food purchased at the supermarket. The sitting area had a dining table that sits 4 and a couch/armchairs so there was room to eat or to read and plan. The overall space has two bedrooms with private bathrooms plus the common kitchen/sitting area. The checkin and checkout were easy.

The place was great and surreptitiously, I had the whole suite to myself. Very clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was generous. Edwina was friendly and helpful. Fantastic location on a quiet street. Walkable to many things in Banff.

I think it may be a different experience sharing with strangers in the common area but I was lucky that I had the whole suite to myself. Edwina carefully details that the common area may be shared with other guests so I wasn't surprised but it was nice to just relax and not be concerned about noise, etc. The bedroom and bathroom is separate from the common area and is very comfortable.

Mountain View B & B, Banff, Alberta with Edwina hosting was beyond anything I ever imagined for myself traveling solo. If I could rate Edwina & this B & B, +1000 ratings I would with my overall experience from greeting me, access to a common area with refrigerator and kitchen essentials, maps were available for ideas & planning, Edwina gave me outstanding helpful tips, and recommendations for my daily photography day adventures, exploring Banff National Park, which turned out perfect for me! Everything is very organized, user friendly, extremely clean, bed was extremely comfortable, beautifully made daily when I returned at night. Waves of gratitude for Edwina, who really did go way above & beyond from anything I ever imagined or expected. Fresh clean linens & towels always supplied, shampoo, conditioner & soap were provided, so this was very convenient & nice to have these items provided. Breakfast options were always made available everyday. Parking was easy, and located very close to the B & B! Location of B & B was excellent! Communication at all times was absolutely outstanding, +1000 if I were to do a rating! I will return again without a doubt and this was really a dream come true in every way for me! This B & B was in a quiet neighborhood, so this was great for me! I’m so grateful for Edwina’s gracious and amazing hospitality and letting me stay at her B & B!

I liked everything about my B & B experience with Edwina hosting, so there wasn’t anything that I didn’t like!

We were very pleased with Mountain View B & B. It is sparkling clean and smells wonderful. The bed is very comfy and the breakfast had lots of good choices. Also, the location is perfect, close to walk to the main street but far enough from the crowds.

Nothing. The only thing was when we looked at the pictures there is a sofa so we thought the sofa came with the room. But it is actually the sofa in the common area, not for our private use. But no big deal. 1 of us slept on the floor, which was carpeted, so it was OK.

We had a great time in Banff. This was our first time in Canada. We loved it! The room accommodations added to our enjoyable stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. We rented all 4 rooms for our family. I am an early riser and get up before anyone else in my family. It was nice to have the kitchen and sitting area to go drink coffee, eat a light breakfast read and pray without disturbing anyone else. Each time we came back from an outing we found the rooms cleaned and breakfast foods restocked. Our hosts were wonderful. Very helpful with questions, directions and suggestions with things to do that were not on our list.

The space is so much lovelier than the photos! Very roomy, ours had a separate bedroom, a small and efficient en suite bathroom and also our own comfy private little livingroom in addition to the well stocked shared kitchen and living room space with the second rental room. The full size fridge was great, so that we could keep our fruits/snacks cool and freeze water bottles before we continued our trip into Banff and Jasper parks during the hot weather. Self serve continental breakfast included a generous supply of muffins, toasts, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea. The rental also had an inviting outdoor deck space and attractive surrounding foliage and walkway down to the designated parking area in the back. Very lovely and welcoming onsite host, next time we'll definitely stay more than one night.

There was an odor of stale cigarette smoke that may have been emitting through the walls that are attached to the host's home.

It was marvellous. Beautiful room. The cleanest accomodation on our tour from Salt Lake City to Seattle via Banff and Vancouver, Victoria. The bathroom and the kitchen were well equipped. There were a lot of food for breakfast (croissant, yogurt, fruit, etc. ). The living room was spacefull, light with comfortable furnitures and magnificent view of the montains. The host (Edwina) gave us very usefull informations how to visit the famous lakes. She wrote it us before our arriving. Thanks to her we could visit the Moraine lake and Lake Louise whithout any problem.

I had a fantastic stay here - it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The main area is shared, but there was no one staying in the other room - it was perfect, cozy + breakfast included! Very close to downtown and within walking distance of everything fun. Thank you Edwina for being so kind and hospitable - i will defiantly be back :)

Fabulous location. 5minute walk to town. Bed was super comfortable. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Great shower room and lovely towels and linen. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The kitchen and lounge were spacious. Edwina was so helpful and welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay here.
