Days Inn by Wyndham Calgary Northwest

The rooms are well maintained and sleep great. The free breakfast had great options (bagels, muffins, toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and coffee). The staff were kind and helpful. Good location especially for those who are planning to day-trip into the Rockies as it's right on Hwy 1.

I would have appreciated more fruit options at breakfast, and better seating as it was often cramped. The price was reasonable but I purchased with the Genius 10% off so that was better. No discount and I would have chosen somewhere cheaper as there are similarly priced options in downtown.

I like a decaffeinated coffee in evening with milk/cream/coffee mate if I must- was none in room, none at desk so had to go up to breakfast area to get. Two computers, two cell phones, apple watch- not enough plug ins for these. In fridge big puddle of water dripped from the freezer so had to soak up with a towel before putting food in. Freezer compartment very small- only held two small ice packs. Reasonable breakfast but would prefer a few other healthy options such as cereals that are not sugar coated. Yougurt, eggs and fruit great. Coffee weak but nice assortment of tea

Clean place, very comfortable, good price. I loved the calm.and friendly neighborhood, walking along the bow river, hiking the Douglas fir trail nearby, also the university district was very nice

The breakfast options were a bit limited, food was good, but not a lot of options. Oh and the gym / fitness center could have a couple sets of dumbells maybe, I guess that the space was limited, but yeah, some weights would be great.

I have stayed in many many hotels worldwide, Days Inn by Wyndham Calgary is the first one with microwave oven inside my hotel room. Utilities are well prepared, including hair dryer, iron, big fridge etc. Clean and comfortable

Noise isolation of the room is poor. Location is a limiting factor where it is pretty far away from city center and only accessible to bus 40, whose last bus is around 7 pm evening on Saturday and Sunday

Rooms were nice, comfortable, quiet. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine in room plus a laundry room. Location was good. Safeway a 10 mins walk. Bow Trail walkway or bike path is right across the street for some exercise. If you walk for 10 mins, you come to a casual restaurant Angel’s Cafe right on water with indoor and outdoor space. Licensed. This hotel is very comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast is picked up at the front desk if you want it. Front desk staff nice and helpful.

Small gym closed due to Covid. Need better coffee.

The rooms were beautiful and the location across from the bow river was wonderful. Probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Felt very safe and secure in the building as all the rooms are on the second or third floors and you need a keycard to even get to the second floor. Very very good value for the money, couldn't believe the price actually.

The location was very nice in the day but a little sketchy at night but that obviously isn't the fault of the hotel.

We decided to commute from Calgary to the national parks as it was much cheaper than staying in Banff and the surrounding area. We liked the comfort of the room and the fact that this hotel was on the outskirts of the city making our commute back and forward every day easy! The breakfast was also great. Our girls’ loved the waffle maker!

I have no complaints about this property

The breakfast was very good. The staff in the breakfast room was very attentive to cleanliness and refilling supplies. Cleaning staff were industrious and pleasant. Front desk staff, especially Ann, were wonderful, letting us check in very early and prompting us to have breakfast, as well as going outdoors to point us in the right direction. We were just so pleased with our stay. Price was excellent through booking.com. Thanks everyone.

The bathroom fan is very loud and runs all the time the light is on.

Breakfast in the morning, the counter space could be bigger for larger group of guests and the selection of food, it would be nice to have something better than muffins and bagels

The hotel was easily accessible. The staff were attentive and helpful and I especially liked the courtesy call a little after we settled in to check everything was ok. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and the eating area was spotless and hygienic. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room spacious

The adjoining room door let in a lot of noise from the talkative people next door. The air conditioner was very noisy
