Great location in an interesting and vibrant part of downtown Edmonton - you're only a block away from restaurants, bars, and even a regular farmer's market. Check-in was easy, the lobby was lovely, and the rooms were spacious with incredibly comfortable beds. Also, I wouldn't have picked this as a plus going in, but the bidet with a heated seat was definitely a bonus!
Nothing actually negative here - the shower was a bit basic, and the hotel restaurant buffet breakfast was good but not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Didn't use the parking, but it seems like it was on par with other downtown Edmonton hotels in terms of costs.

The room was nice and open. Being taller I enjoyed all the space the large king size bed gave him. The wife thought the paper crane welcome on the bed was a nice touch. Having a warm toilet seat was definitely a surprise, as was the bidet feature! and something that takes getting used to.
Thé buffet was good, there was a miscommunication with front staff which was repeated (or at least not corrected) by the restaurant staff that the buffet was continental. Our $50 bill for a few pieces of fruit and an egg was an unpleasant surprise. If we’d been given a menu instead of just being directed to the buffet we’d have chosen a more wallet friendly option. We had a bit of issue with the elevator, as we weren’t instructed that swiping the room key card was needed to have the floor button light up. But liked that there was that extra security feature.

The room was super comfortable and great location. The heated toilet seats were such a treat ha! Everything was great and easy walk to coffee shops etc in the morning
I wish it was more clear about the parking. I was u dee the impression parking was included. But you are not told about it until after reserving. We were able to find parking in 2 lots over for a reasonable price but It would be nice to know beforehand. The pool and hot tub were also super full and no space to use.

This hotel was very clean and recently renovated. The staff were excellent, the parking convenient and the night was quiet and very comfortable. I don't typically sleep well in hotels but I did at the Coast Plaza!
I felt a little uncomfortable in the area of downtown Edmonton that the hotel is located, but after walking around I could see that Edmonton downtown as a whole has many homeless people on the streets and isn't very populated with business activity even during the week.

Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, honoring our request for late checkout with no problem! They were quick to respond and I really appreciated the level of professionalism and communication. Loved the cleanliness, the pool and hot tub, and the location for ease of access to everything we needed. The view from our room was really great too! A tip: visit the DOSC for dinner and drinks, or a coffee from the cafe side - you will NOT be disappointed! 2 min walk from the hotel 😊
The things I disliked: I thought the parking fee was exorbitant at $22 /night. It also would have been really nice to be able to enjoy a snack or beverage at the onsite lounge, but it is only open for morning breakfast service (which is not included).

Welcoming and friendly staff at the reception. Comfortable bed, cleanliness of the room. The amazing bidet toilet! Parking and proximity of activities. I like the security of the elevator using our room card. The pool and whirlpool are great. The price was great.
The bed has a nasty protruding corner, which is easily bumped. It should be covered to avoid injuries. The restaurant was disappointing and not a great atmosphere, we decided to eat somewhere else.

Good location to get to local appointments, restsurants nearby. Room clean and ammenities good. Suprised by a bidet in bathroom! Restaurant staff accommodating, friendly. Consierge awesome. Overall hotel really well kept. Hot tub clean.
Business centre was in the basement & outdated. Restaurant not open for lunch. Front desk were polite but didn't engage. After dark, not best place to be outside. Park next door has a lot of social issues.

We love the location. We were able to even walked to where we want go. Loved the steam room too. I will definitely book again. I loved the part too that check-in was a breeze
not really don't like, but I wish the pool is bigger. And the park close to it is roaming with "questionable" people. We would have loved to go and sit there and get my kids to play around but decided not to. Oh Free parking would have been nicer too.

Staff were really nice. Beds and pillows are clean and very comfy. The heated seats and bidets are a brand new wonderful experience. Slippers were provided in the room too. We like the smell of the toiletries not too overpowering. I think the lotion scent is Bergamot which is wonderful.
As family, we were looking forward to the swimming pool. Aside from the pool being small and shallow, the water was really cold.

The staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in. The toilet with the bidet was very neat!
I chose the hotel based on underground parking, however the lot was full and I had to park across the street.. the walls in the bathroom were dirty. The beds were too firm. Our server in the restaurant at breakfast was not very attentive with things like coffee top ups. At one point we were asked if we wanted a refill. We said yes but didn't receive any. A few minutes later the same server saw our empty cups and asked if we were finished with our coffee. It also took the server three tries to bring the correct bill, even though we just ordered the buffet.
