The wifi is great, there was light daily housekeeping, the pool with waterslide, hot tub and sauna is a nice facility and there were always fresh towels at reception. Our room faced across the valley for a great view, and we had easy access to our vehicle. Keurig coffee pods were provided for the room, including decaf. The reception lent us scissors while we needed them for a game. As a side sleeper, I was very happy with the fluffy pillows rather than the flat pancakes we often find at hotels. Hot breakfast was included and had a good variety of options.

The breakfast was meant to be easy for the staff, so they only provide plastic cutlery, paper cups, etc. Just plates are washed. The hot food is clearly frozen and just baked in the oven - like hash browns and canned baked beans, store-bought bulk muffins, eggo waffles. The furniture in the room is very dated, with mismatched chairs and squeaking bed springs. I suspect the toaster in our kitchenette is as old as I am, and I had to go to reception to ask for more spoons and mugs so we would have a set of 4 for the family to eat. Since it was Family day weekend it was quite busy, and we had some noisy skiers partying next door in the evenings as well. It is a bit of a drive down to Golden and then up to Kickinghorse and Dawn Mountain for skiing, but that didn’t bother us.

Check-in was a breeze with friendly and helpful staff on hand. Our room was well appointed, clean and free of defects. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool, spa and sauna - a most relaxing finish to the day. A good selection was offered for breakfast. The mountain views were stunning, and the inn is only a few minutes' drive to everything. Would certainly stay again!

We didn't realise that pool towels needed to be obtained from reception (many hotels provide them in the pool area) so we had to run back to our room through the cold night air in swimming clothes. Just be sure to get your pool towel first!

The check in on the night we first night we arrived was excellent. The person behind the desk was very helpful and terrific (sorry forgot the name). We stay here before at the beginning of May and had the same excellent experience. The food from the restaurant was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here to everyone I know.

The TV Chanel’s didn’t have much selection, but I read my book. Which was probably better to do anyway

Extra pillows, blankets and towels were great. Clean rooms. Pool was awesome. Friendly staff.

The pull out sofa bed was completely old, slanting downwards towards the couch, and slanting inwards. Thin and uncomfortable mattress. Fridge was a mini fridge and barely fit anything. Breakfast cereal was stale. No gluten free breads or cereals available. And breakfast wasn't restocked quickly. Closest ice machine was not working. If I'm paying over $300 for our large 2 bedroom suite, all beds better be top quality.

Although it is the furthest hotel from town and not within walking distance to anywhere, the location worked perfect as we were there for Whitewater rafting which was located right across the highway. They have a great pizza/pasta restaurant and bar with a patio and grassy area with a firepit that overlooks the mountains and valley. It was breathtaking. We ate delicious pizza both nights. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.The pool was perfect with a waterslide, hot tub, and sauna with windows all around to take in the beautiful view of the mountains.

The hotel being a little older could use some updating. The carpets are old, worn down and musty smelling. It could also use some fresh paint on the walls and clean grout between the tiles on the bathroom floor. Our tub took and hour to drain after a shower. Even though they tried to make it look clean, if the carpets were replaced with laminate and the walls were painted it would look and smell clean. One bed was comfortable with some cushion on the mattress yet the other bed felt like a concrete Slab with no cushion.

Room was nice and large with small table and 3 chairs, fridge and microwave allowed us to eat a meal in the room, which was nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent with wide variety of hot and cold food and drink options which made my whole family excited to get up in the morning. The pool area is lovely, clean, and well-lit. Views from the pool and room overlooked the mountains. The room size and breakfast really made our ski holiday more relaxed and enjoyable. I asked my kids if they would rather stay at a condo on the ski resort next time and they said they would prefer to stay at the Days Inn because of the breakfast and the waterslide/hot tub. It was 17mins drive to Kickinhorse ski resort, but that's far less time than we would spend feeding the crew in the morning and cleaning up from breakfast, so it's a good trade-off. We will return!

There were four of us, but only 3 chairs, which made eating a little more challenging. We tried to avoid eating on the bed as we did not want to get food on the linens. This would have been much easier if there were enough chairs for each guest.

The room included a free hot breakfast from the on site restaurant. The view from our balcony across the valley to the mountains was superb. When the sun kisses the mountain tops in the early morning it has to be seen.

There is only one negative point, and that is the handrail on the stairs to the upper level. It is impossible to grasp the rail for the last 6 steps as it is tight to the wall. If you are carrying a case or bag in the other hand there is no way to get extra leverage

A great welcome, especially since I wasn’t feeling too well - early check in allowed due to the circumstances. Breakfast was ok and a reasonable choice!

The aircondo fan was very noisy, but otherwise fine! Property showed signs of ageing. The fridge froze everything inside. The restaurant needed tidying and cleaning.

The views were spectacular, and the rooms were clean and comfy. My family enjoyed the pool, waterslide, hot tub and sauna. The breakfast buffet was wonderful (eggs, sausage, beans and hashbrowns.) There is a bar and restaurant in the main building.

The price was a bit high for a Days Inn but your in the mountains and most hotels are the same price. I was on the second floor and a main floor room would have been preferred. The hotel is older so do not expect the taj mahal, it has high mileage but is still serves it purpose well.

A great location looking out on the amazing scenery. Friendly and very helpful staff. A basic breakfast buffet was included. Dinner options with pizza/pasta/burger, was also very good. Saved us driving back in to Golden downtown. Nice pool / spa area with again an awesome view.
