The room was clean, a great size and the bed really comfortable. The shower pressure was good and the water got nice and hot. The staff friendly and helpful. Even the other guests I passed when un/loading the car were nice.

At first glance the motel looks a little run down but the room I stayed in was nice enough and much better than expected for the price. Unfortunately for all of Kamloops the train and highway traffic is noisy throughout the night, the windows were just single glazed thin sliders so might be worth upgrading for more soundproofing.

We have stayed at the Ranchland Inn in Kamloops for many years now. It is in a convenient spot for us, since it is +/- half-way from Vancouver to Calgary. We used Booking.com to book, and enjoy the efficiency of this process. The rooms are always clean, tidy and comfortable; linens are clean and the check-in is always friendly and efficient.

The rooms are somewhat dated, but because they are affordable, clean, handy, and comfortable, this does not bother me. I will continue to think of the Ranchland Inn first when I need a comfortable place to overnight in Kamloops.

Traveled with a group of 9. Outdoor gathering area with bbq was a good resource to have. Kitchenette was very basic, was good to have the fridge. Staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was yogurt, apple, 1/2 muffin and coffee. Ok if that is all you are looking for quick meal. Very nice walking trails just down the road, less than 5 minutes. Great view from up there!

Other guests who used the patio area who did not make an effort to clean up after themselves. Not the fault of property owners or caretakers. Just saying... wasn't cool. We left it better than we found it. I will note, it is just off the highway, and across the highway are train tracks. With that comes some noise. Not unbearable though. Didn't lose any sleep as a result.

Check in went smoothly. Front desk lady was friendly and very pleasant. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The fridge worked well. The queen bed was perfect firmness for us. The included continental breakfast was adequate to get us on the road. There were muffins, yogurt, and apples as well as coffee.

The AC was a little noisy, but to be expected with a wall unit. This is picky, but a better selection of muffins would have been nice, but not a big problem. They were all chocolate chip when I got there. Perhaps there may have been a better variety earlier, before I got there. Still, a decent breakfast.

very nice, they have a nice spa which we were able to reserve for a convenient time if you wanted to have it to yourself although a young man who wasn't aware it needed to be reserved was there when we arrived at the reserved time and we were happy to share it with him, he was very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable.Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was continental but more than average choices.

There was nothing to complain about.

Clean, comfortable. This is a no-frills older establishment but well maintained and met all our needs.

Traffic noise - railway & highway. I chose to sleep with window open rather than run air conditioner, so partly my fault. Also some very noisy people in the parking lot below in the middle of the night. Missed out on breakfast as office door was locked after 7 AM, and I didn't want to ring the bell. But we noticed on leaving that a patio area was available - was this where breakfast was served?

Clean and tidy Bed was super comfortable. Employee was very pleasant.

It should NOT say that it includes breakfast. Apples, one type of yogurt cups, Costco muffinscut in half and coffee in a styrofoam cup. This is NOT breakfast for many people. This could be, maybe, be considered a complimentary snack. I was expecting at least cereal or toast and MAYBE a choice of pastries, some juice?

It had everything I needed for a one night stay; clean, comfortable, quiet (unless you get a room near highway; a plus if you like trains). Large soaking tub, stocked kitchenette. A to-go continental breakfast provided by respectful staff.

Nothing to dislike; for the price, the eclectic furniture and organization didn’t bother me. Not a cookie cutter hotel room. (I consider this a plus).

I chose this place b/c it offers breakfast. However on arrival I discoved breakfast isn't offered until 7 am. Breakfast needs to be offered earlier. People traveling want to get on the road asap. 7 am is too late. 6 is a better time allowing people to get away and on the road earlier. I didn't have breakfast b/c by 7 am I was long gone.

The staff was really friendly and the place was rather comfy. The facilities offered, like the microwave and fridge was really useful for the long stay I had. If you're a new student coming to TRU, I can recommend this place as a temporary place to stay until you find something permanent.

The location was a bit far from the city centre but, the bus stand is pretty close to the place so it's acceptable
