This place is great. Proper old school hotel experience. It's good value for what you get. We used the pool and the gym (briefly). The restaurant is good value, but not mind-blowing. We would've loved to spend a few more nights there, we only stayed there to break up our drive from Jasper to Vancouver but this place deserved more time.

They block $100 when you check in for damages, which is pretty standard. After we left however, they charged my card around $60 for a meal that someone else had charged to our room. We sorted it all out after a few messages and they refunded my card very quickly. It was a little annoying though, as when we left they had told us everything was paid up, so I'm not sure why they charged my card later.

The property is beautiful. If you want to stay somewhere where it's peaceful and serene this is the place to stay. It is a working ranch so there are lots of animals where you can feed carrots and apples to, and they are very friendly. The grounds are very pretty which you have access to walk around freely. The early morning sunrise and the evening sunsets are fantastic too. Watch from your hotel room depending on what side you are on. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable.

It's a shame that the kitchen was closed because there is a staff shortage. But that did not deter us. We still enjoyed our stay immensely.

The view and facility were beautiful! Staff were very helpful and friendly. There were geese on the lawn in the morning with the golf course as the background. Well maintained and quiet.

It was a little out of the way, and we were unsure if we were going the right way to begin with, but it made more sense being next to a golf course. Would have been nice to have a better breakfast, but staff was low, so it was a pre- packaged to-go snack bag (only 2 day a wk). They did tell us ahead of time, so we had a little warning.

The location overlooking the South Thompson and next door to Rivershore Golf course was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was fairly comfortable. The restaurant was OK. The dinner was pretty good, and the bagged breakfasts for pickup worked when combined with the in-room coffee maker.

The restaurant was underwhelming, which is too bad as the hotel is well outside Kamloops and the only alternative is the golf course (which fortunately was very good).

Beautiful property with very informative staff. Our room was very comfortable with access to a balcony overlooking a view of the river. We spent some time relaxing in the pool after a walk exploring the property and saying hello to the resident horses, sheep, goats and alpacas. It was also nice to have access to an in-house restaurant bar.

We were travelling through on our way to Vancouver, so a fridge in our room would have been nice to store our leftover lunch/snacks.

A beautiful location and very peaceful. Our room overlooked the river and had a balcony to sit on in the evening. I loved the jacuzzi tub and the bed was super comfortable. The charming nature of the decor throughout feels cozy and welcoming. We will return when we need a romantic night to ourselves again.

The only hiccup was the doors have actual keys which is fine but we had a slight issue unlocking the door upon returning from dinner. I had locked it via the interior door knob button when we left for dinner and we found out this is what can happen from not using the key to lock it. Not a big deal just a minor glitch.

The $14 charge for breakfast was too much for us; we did not opt for it. The setting for meals is lovely:lighting the gas fireplace would make it more cosy and inviting, both during supper meals/evening time and breakfast/mornings.

Off the beaten track of Hwy 1 on the north side of Thompson River east of Kamloops. We drove east from Chase on a quiet country gravel road past farms and ranches. Clean spacious river view room with shared balcony. Sound proof sliding doors blocked noise from Hwy 1 and railroad across the water. Adjacent to golf course, horse sables, and nature made for a relaxing stay.

Restaurant not open due to staffing shortage, but received a courtesy call in advance to let us know. Bar was still open for a night cap.

They have a farm and big lawn, pet friendly. The river view is superb, you can have breakfast while looking at the view.

No kitchen in the room, not even a microwave, so the staff can only help you heat things up. The whole balcony is connected, there is no partition in each household, someone can hear clearly on the balcony.

location, we chose a river View. glad we did as the sun was on that side. and there was mountains in the distance so two in one.

it was the beginning of the season. the pool wasn’t open. why in that case did they have to place someone in the room next to us. walls paper thin could here hair drier and shower.
