We just had a 1 night stopover here after arriving by ferry, but were really surprised at how good it was. The staff were lovely and helpful. There is a guest self service laundry which was great. Our room was a good size with a big patio overlooking the lake. We watched the "Blue Supermoon" rising over the lake at night-amazing! And then watched a family of otters playing by the shore. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. There is a small kitchen area with tea and coffee making and a microwave and fridge. Complimentary breakfast was far more than we expected. Lots of choice including hot omlettes as well as waffles, fresh fruit yoghurt , croissants and muffins.

Nothing, it's a perfect stopover but we could have stayed longer and been quite comfortable. Just don't try to walk to the supermarket, it's further away than it looks on foot.

The staff was very friendly & helpful when needed. Room was very clean & the beds very very comfortable. The breakfast our first morning of 4 mornings was excellent with a good selection of fruits, breads, protein etc. The grounds were well groomed.

The breakfasts for the last three mornings was sparse, no hard boiled eggs, no fruits other than apples that looked a bit tired, there was only one toaster so a longer wait for a turn. There is no hanger/hook on the bathroom door or anywhere in the bathroom to hang a towel or robe or clothing while showering or changing clothes, just the counter top by the sink. The patio screen door of room 105 needs fixing or replacing as it was extremely difficult to slide it open or closed.

The environmental added touches were nice and refreshing to see again. Having shampoo and conditioner in the shower pumps instead of small they're away containers are always great! The robes were amazing!!! Thank you for extra blankets in the room on a cold night nice to have there. Beds were comfortable. The views of the lake especially at night were nice.

Having the hot tub and sauna open until 9 or 10. We were exploring & didn't get a a chance to use them. Breakfast room was crowded and tight quarters to sit that close to people. Food offerings were ok.

Great location, dated on the outside but the rooms are nice and equipped with everything you need. Best part is looking at the lake outside your room. Love the detached hot tub/sauna room that's even closer to the lake. I lucked out and had it to myself. It was perfect for a little one day ME day. Staff is nice.

I was surprised to hear I had to pay 10 dollar extra for parking upon arrival. So be aware of that. I didn't see anything on Booking regarding that. I don't get the point of paying extra for parking unless you have multiple people staying but it was just me.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, lots of fresh options. The lake is very scenic, just walking down to the dock we saw beavers, an eagle, and a heron.

The hot tub and sauna are in a large gazebo-like structure separate from the hotel, It's a really nice facility, however it's only open in the middle of the day, from about 10 am - 5 pm. I think most people would like to be able to use the facility in the evening, after they check in. We also had a plugged toilet, which generally is not a problem. However there is no maintenance person on site after 5 pm, the person on the front desk wasn't even sure if they had a plunger. He eventually found a plunger and handed it to me to solve the problem by myself (which I did, no problem there). If you're going to have a problem with your room, make sure it doesn't happen in the evening.

Overall speaking, it was our first stay in your hotel. It was short (only 1 night) but good. I did not check what was inclusive when I made the booking as I was making it in a hurry. It turned out that free continential breakfast was included which was a surprise to us. Also, our room was facing east so we could see sunrise whichbwas also a bonus. The lake view just right in front of our room was also spectacular. It is beyond our satisfaction, given the rate we paid.

The strengths of the sprinkler in the bathtub was not powerful enough. The mattress is too soft to provide any lumber support given its age. It felt like I were laying on a slope when I laid on the bed.

We had a nice and sizable room facing the lake - our recommendation to all visitors, ask for a lake-view rooms. Firstly, they are quieter than the ones facing the hgwy, and there is an added value in observing wild geese marching on the deck. The beds are comfy and the staff, helpful. Nothing to complain about.

The biggest disappointment had been the continental breakfast. As a start, the options are quite limited, even by American breakfast standards. However, the biggest downside was the lack of majority of options after 9am. By that time, all pastries and bagels were gone. Same goes for milk. The explanation from the staff that they had many guests is unacceptable. The hotel should calculate the breakfast quantities of products matching the occupancy of the hotel. The fact that we came later for breakfast should not mean an inferior treatment. We paid the same as the other guests...

The breakfast was okay. I'm vegan, so besides fruit, there was very little to eat. The rest of my family is vegetarian, so they enjoyed the cheese omelettes and the blueberry muffins. The coffee was excellent.

The construction work that they were doing outside of the hotel was a pain (but I know that the hotel has no control over that). Also, the treadmill in the workout room didn't work.

The breakfast was good, although it would have been nice to have had some hot cooked food (like eggs and bacon or pancakes, for example) Perhaps it was because of COVID restrictions though......

Paying for parking. It was unexpected to see a $10 charge for parking on my bill at check-out. We were only there for one night. I hadn't looked at the bill closely when I was leaving. Apparently it was because I'd booked through a 3rd party instead of directly with the hotel. That hadn't happened to me before, but now I know...

The room was very clean and updated. It was quiet and comfortable at night and a great view in the morning. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I really LOVED the robes! In room coffee very good as well as the availability of a good cup of coffee, early in the morning, at the continental breakfast.

The sauna could be open a bit later. When I travel for work Im not likely done until after dinner and at that point it would be nice to mix business with pleasure and have a sauna before turning in. It looked really inviting.
