I like the location, it worked well for our itinerary because we were heading north. Nice patio and garden. Complimentary coffee, tea, snacks, breakfast items was a very nice touch.

Parking was not sufficient and we had to park on the street, which we don't prefer. I didn't realize there were many rooms in this place and I felt the common area lacks privacy since we had to share the dining table and kitchen area with 2 other couples in the morning. We ended up having our breakfast on the patio, which was not too bad because the weather was okay but I imagine on some other days this could be an issue. The foyer was congested with many shoes and it was not convenient to get in and out of the place. Other people left some very dirty underwear on the countertop in the shared washroom, might have been just forgotten but that's not so cool because it was disgusting. Backyard hedges are old grown and tall so the view on the patio is limited but it is still pretty nice.

Beautiful home in North Vancouver! Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The home is spacious and well-lit, and the views of Vancouver are really beautiful. We had a downstairs room facing the garden and it was pretty nice. Bed was comfortable and having a desk was pretty useful. It was also really nice having breakfast items in the kitchen provided, including fruit and even some homemade cookies in the evenings. The common areas and shared bathrooms were kept surprisingly clean for how many people rotated in/out during our short stay. Having free laundry was also a really great bonus.

Wish there were better sound insulation, as we could hear people talking in the other rooms at night. Having only one bathroom per floor among 4-5 rooms was a little tough at times. Not a big deal, but I did wish that they made it clearer that the laundry facilities are actually not freely accessible to guests at all times. You need to coordinate with a staff member to unlock the door, and it took us some back and forth with the owners before we were able to settle on a time to do laundry. Ended up cutting into our plans a bit; regardless, it was pretty nice that free laundry was offered and appreciated the owners working with us on it.

Nice living room area, breakfast table area, views down to Fraser River arm and Stanley Park area, treats provided (apples, bananas, tea, lemon-infused water, coffee, home-baked chocolate chip cookies), fridge, on-site parking (3 spots), light and open space, backyard of cool-coloured hydrangeas, japanese maple, cedar (VCR garden staples). Custodian on-site.

Know that there are about 8 rooms sharing about 2 bathrooms (and half bath on main floor), so mornings are busy. 3 stalls on property, rest of vehicles can park on road for free. Room 4 on main level is a tight space and right behind the kitchen area - not as quiet as the other rooms. Rooms 1-3 on upper floor; rest of rooms in basement, FYI.

we had to book emperial suites due to some last minute circumstance. We booked it at 1030pm and arrived around 11pm. tarun (housekeeper/host) was extremely hospitable and we felt right at home after an arduous incident. Tarun is also a great conversationalist and very on the ball. I love that the kitchen it fully stocked (with different kinds of cereal, oatmeal, fruits, even pancake mix! and yogurts and sauces for communal use) While this is a shared bathroom, it is maintained really well and the common area's decor is immaculate. the views from within and outside the house were also perfect! A great, relaxing stay, highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this property. Being a bit cynical about shared accommodations, I didn't expect much out of this. But it was so amazing! The place was just so elegant, very clean with all facilities. The views!! They were just gorgeous! The photos don't do justice to the property at all. The beautiful patio overlooking the mountains and the ocean and the fairy-tale like enchanting garden - it was truly a getaway from the city. And Tarun is such a warm and welcoming host - he made us feel very comfortable.

The nice view. Clean and cozy. The facilities and the kitchen.

It's located on a hill and difficult to find taxi to reach to the place. One has to walk uphill for almost 700 meters to 1 kilometre from the public transport.

We stayed with four adults in the larger suite with private bathroom. The room was large and absolutely spotless and the beds were very comfortable. But above all, the room had the most magnificent view over downtown Vancouver and the harbour. The house has a few shared facilities, e.g. a large kitchen and seating area, which are also very clean.

The cooking stove in the kitchen did not work. We could only use one small fire, which was rather inconvenient to cook a whole meal. Hopefully this can be repaired for future guests.

The advert led me to believe that I was booking a room in a hotel... whereas it was a shared accommodation... so once the surprise cleared I really enjoyed the property and the other renters from many other countries and local guests.

I understand the need to recruit new clients but this is the limit of what is misleading to be an hotel... my door despite the key I found in the room did not really close the door...

The property is in a beautiful area of North Vancouver with views from some rooms and from the common areas. It is well kept and very clean. The rooms are cozy with comfy beds and a small desk. The common areas are spacious with lots of room for multiple people to relax. The room rates were very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again!

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast. More variety of things like muffins, breads and bagels would be more appealing. Also yogurt would be a nice addition.

Everything was really clean and rather new. There was free coffee, lemonade, milk and various other essentials. The room was big enough and the bed comfortable. For me the best was the location. It's right at the foot of the mountains and hiking trails. Also quick and problem-solving responses, from the manager, when contacted.

Basically the only thing I didn't like was the people doing late check-ins (past 10:00pm) I had the room right next to the entrance, so nearly everyday I couldn't sleep undisturbed till after midnight. Especially since I could hear the shower upstairs as well. If I could make a suggestion no check-ins past 11:00pm since the walls are rather thin. Everything else was super nice.
