We stayed here for four nights at short notice after the Rocky Mountaineer was cancelled - we knew the hotel as we had stayed a few years ago. Being located at Canada Place it is central to most attractions and many tours and activities start here. The area also feels very safe. Four of us stayed in a Premier Harbour View room which was spacious, had a fantastic view of Canada Place, the bay and the mountains and had very comfortable beds. The large TV blocks out some of the view but being a corner room there were plenty of windows. We had a couple of meals in the Coal Harbour Bar which were tasty and good value but ate elsewhere the rest of the time as there was a good choice of restaurants locally. Aside from one blip with housekeeping which was quickly rectified, the stay was faultless and this will be our first choice if we ever come to Vancouver again

Leaving.

Great upgrade provided without fuss when the room we were allocated was not what I felt I had paid for. Staff were all great and helpful.

The place is past its sell by date, built in the 80s for the 80s. Needs a refresh in my opinion. If I had had to pay full whack for the upgrade I would have been disappointed. Bedside lamps didnt work, couldn't get cold water from the bathroom tap, noise from next room via connecting door (which was locked) was intrusive.

We had a harbour view room, looking out across the bay just above the cruiser terminal and overlooking the pool. Fantastic view and no need for an alarm if you wanted waking at 8am. This is when the sea plane flights start, it is not a problem though. Breakfast was a varied selection and very good at about $40 each. The hotel was comfortable and well kept. The staff were very helpful. The location is superb for Vancouver sightseeing and also for other attractions like the Hop-On/Hop-Off bus tour, coach to Capilano Park and the Rocky Mountaineer pick up.

It is quite expensive, but worth the extra for the benefits of location and views.

Loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. Also the food is amazing. The hotel has a underground tunnel connected to a food court and small convenience store which is a exceptional option for people cruising who might have forgotten items. They also offer a service where they take your bags to the ship which was so helpful for us because we were traveling with a large group including children and some elderly.

The only complaint I would have is the beds felt smaller then queens. And, the harbar bar in the hotel isn’t set up to accommodate a large number of people.

Excellent location, we arrived via cruise ship and stayed for 3 nights. We have stayed here before for an Alaska cruise, and would again because of the convenience and location. Easy to get off the ship and go up the elevator to the hotel. Had rooms ready early including an upgrade to a larger room. Had a beautiful harbor view.

Not the hotels fault but it can get crazy between 8am and 2pm with all the cruise ships disembarking and boarding in the Canada Place area. It can get busy on the ground floor of the hotel/convention center and out front. Be prepared to be in a busy place every day if you stay there.

Location, room, view and convenience to cruise terminal.

Check-in was quite a nightmare. Credit card was declined due to Pan Pacific running it 8 times upon check-in. Called my cc while in lobby and they said my card was not locked and Pan Pacific was putting a wrong number in over and over. After getting a manager to help and putting them directly in touch with my cc, we were finally able to check in, albeit 2 hours after our arrival. Not a huge deal, but as we were only in Vancouver for less than 24 hours, this took away precious time to explore this wonderful city.

Excellent location - convenient for Stanley Park, Downtown and Gas Town. Spacious well equipped room. Excellent front desk and concierge staff. We stayed two nights on a stopover to/from New Zealand and the PP was perfect for our purpose. Worth paying for bay view room as views are superb and it's great watching ships and seaplanes coming and going.

Rooms are just a little dated - but all in good condition (and we knew that as been before - so not a problem).

We got a very nice large 1 bedroom suite with a wonderful view. It was great to watch the ships come and go. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big with lots of mirrors! We would come back and stay again!

There was no service for the rooms - not even upon request. I was surprised by that at a 5 star hotel. I know finding workers is hard but the staff was very thin. I wanted the Opera dining but that entire dining room was closed. We never ate at the Hotel - very disappointing. Also only one light for the bathroom for all lights. Had to turn on a bright light to get to the commode late at night.

The location was perfect for our needs as we were leaving on a cruise the next morning. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the very active harbor. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The escalators were not working upon arrival so the need to always use the elevator was a bit frustrating as not all elevators accessed the guest rooms so two elevators were required. The cost of the room felt like a "covid catch-up" and seemed well-overpriced just to sleep and shower, but the location was good.
