All things considered, this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Amazing location right at the seafront with a great buzz all the time. Out of the hotel and turn leftish and you have the sea front/stanley park area (great on a bike, borrow one from the hotel), lots of food options and great views. Turn right and you head deeper into the city. Rooms were lovely and well equipped, WiFi was perfect and beds very comfy (family room). Gym was also well equipped and I loved the bee garden (and tour). All the staff in the hotel were helpful & efficient. It was a really nice place to be at all times.

Rooftop pool had a sand paper like floor to it, kids both had red and slightly painful feet (still kept going in though) from it.

Location is perfect for the train station from the airport, the shopping port, the sea planes, the Gaslight District and the Hop On Hop Off bus stops right outside. The Rocky Mountaineer team are here in the afternoon so you can check in for the train. The pool is lovely and warm and nice location on the roof. Room was huge, overlooked the water and the bed was comfy.

Massive line in Reception for breakfast if you went early. The restaurant is too small for the size of the hotel. They could use the wasted conference space to provide better food options. I didn't like receiving a snotty note from the night manager about my payment when the Manager who had checked me on had made a mistake. Reception is swamped- the Concierge desk was hidden in a corner - it should be more visible and Concierges more proactive to take the pressure off the exhausted Reception staff.

It's our second stay at the Fairmont Waterfront. The location is in a prime area. Took the tram from the airport to Waterfront and walked one block to the Fairmont Waterfront. This is so much cheaper than Uber or Lyft. It's walkable to Gas Town and to the harbor along the seawall. The Hop-on-Hop-Off is in front of the hotel as most activities are. The hotel is nice. Whether you have an ocean or city view, it's beautiful. Don't waste money on a view upgrade as you probably won't be in your room.

I wasted money on an upgrade. The partial view of the ocean was nice but the room was average.

The hotel overall is a beautiful property. AJ at the front desk and the trainee gentleman at the lobby bar were extremely courteous and friendly. The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, and I enjoyed the view of the water. The pool area was nice but disappointed the bar service closed by the time I got there.

A little bit longer of a wait to get checked in at the front desk, and get service at the lobby bar. At the bar, I saw a bartender making a martini and laid the olives on the bar mat. I made a note to never order a drink that has a garnish as that was off-putting to see. To elevate the client experience, I like to see a robe and pair of slippers in the room so that I don't have to call down.

Very nice room. I was given one of the corner rooms which has windows on two sides, making it very light. There was no bath in my room, but otherwise was fine.

I was particularly disappointed by the ARC restaurant. I had reserved a table with my daughter for Easter Sunday "bottomless brunch". At $99 pp, plus drinks, plus tax, plus 20% service, I thought it would be excellent. But it was a limited menu -- sure, you could order as many dishes as many times as you liked, so it was indeed bottomless. But with choices like Avocado Toast and Croque Monsieur, it was hardly what anyone would expect of a restaurant in a five star hotel. And it was certainly not good value for money...quite the opposite imo. I should add that the server was good -- helpful and friendly.

When I booked I had told the hotel that my partner and I were there for a celebration and they upgraded us for free to the room looking at the harbor. The staff was attentive and so pleasant! The location is amazing and we overall had a great stay!

The beds could definitely be updated, not the best sleep of my life but it was totally fine! Bathrooms are looking a bit dated as well but again, not the end of the world. We were disappointed to find empty beer cans and other pieces of garbage around the rooftop pool in the morning.

the rooms was very clean and very comfortable size. The cleaning staff was very nice and always asked if everything was what we expected.

Parking is somewhat challenging, but staff was very helpful to make it a pleasant as possible. The first room we checked into had a lot of human hair in the bathtub. looks like it was missed on the room cleaning. Staff moved us next door so they could give that room a thorough cleaning the next day and the new room was clean. the harbour view was not a nic as the first room I may add.

The beds were super comfy, the room was pretty spacious and we had a great view overlooking the cruise terminal, so it was an easy walk over to catch the ship for the remainder of our trip and we could see exactly where we needed to go.

I wasn’t a fan of the sliding bathroom door with no lock on it and some of the storage in the bathroom was hidden behind the hand towels so it was difficult to see what towels had been provided.

Picked because were staying there the following night as part of a tour. It was great!

The Fairmont brand. While this facility was excellent, we wound up staying at Fairmont's throughout our tour and suffice it to say will NOT be staying at Fairmont's again. Air Conditioning is not assured at some locations. And at those locations, the Fairmont practice of having heat generating lights turned on as well as the TV results in a hotter room than necessary, especially when there are no means for cooling the room down. We arrived at one Fairmont and the room was at 81F. Makes for miserable sleeping and not rested for the next day's tour.
