location- right across the road from the ocean that we could enjoy the ocean from the patio of our room! staff- called a few days advance of our visit n the guy ( forgot name but indian), went out of the way to help us. Same with Sameera when we checked in- weather was bad and she let us check in early without any hassle- she was helpful throughout and v pleasant to talk to. We liked the fact that she even called to ensure we had liked the room….thank you!

Everything was great… The appliances r brand new and modern. The minor hassle would be worth 5% compared to 95 percent comfort n dont consider it to be the hotel’s fault….. - our room smelled of natural gas which we later realized came through patio from the restaurant below so a room freshner would be a great idea! Bedding was nicely made but i kept getting small bites probably from the roughness of the sheets or some bug… not to miss that i barely noticed it once i fell asleep for we were so tired n sleepy.

Loved the location right by the pier! Watched the sunset from the balcony every night! Staff were lovely and it was great that it was dog friendly as I could bring my pups on the adventure. Joe's on the beach restaurant that is attached is great too and allowed us to bring our dogs to sit on the outside of the patio..

Construction going on right in front of the balcony was a bit annoying but they are just finishing up some renovations so understandable.

Great staff! Super location and it will be terrific. You can see the updating in the room is being done with care and using some great updated, modern fixtures. The cleaning and personal grooming supplies are lovely.

You can see the facility is under reno work so as such, the kitchen unit in our suite was very old and a bit dysfunctional. The fridge was missing parts, the freezer was completely blocked with ice. The kitchen supplies were a bit sparse- ie, only one dinner fork and one salad fork, no hot mats or pads, the cutting board was too floppy. The microwave worked well but all the controls were only labelled in french🤔 The bath had a large copper pipe extended presumably where the bath tap had been, a bit dangerous. The bed made some very strange loud metallic noises. Finally, there was no local info magazines or brochures in the room

No breakfast was included with the room. However there were lots of options nearby, and a fridge so we could take milk and cereal, etc. We could walk out the sliding doors and sit and watch the ocean! soooo great! We even saw a pod of orcas go by!

The mattress cover was too big, so the sheets were always wrinkled up under us. The staff brought us a fitted sheet but it didn't help. The attached restaurant was very unpredictable with their hours.

The lady who checked us in on Saturday was very friendly and helpful & we enjoyed the hot chocolate at check in. The sunset view is lovely. Oh, and the rain shower was amazing.

The rooms only come with little disposable plastic glasses. For $150 per night before taxes, actual water glasses, coffee mugs & wine glasses should be in the rooms. Check in is at 4pm, and checkout is listed in the email as 8-11am. This will only serve to annoy people. Just make it 3pm check in and 11am checkout like hotels & motels have always done.

Sam was AMAZING! She was very thoughtful and very friendly which just put us at complete ease especially after our long travels from the whole day. The view was amazing! We almost wanted to call in sick to work just to stay another night :) So glad this is near the ferry terminal so it's perfect for a quick weekend getaway :) Parking was conveniently outside the door which made for easy loading and unloading.

Hardly anything! Everything was great! No complaints :)

This hotel was very nice and right on the ocean road. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The shower and whole bathroom was amazing. Loved it. Comfortable bed. The sound of sea was awesome.

The only downsides which didn’t really effect my stay but the patio glass doors were unclean but it was an inside glass thing that can not be reached to clean. I Think they just need replacing. The main road can get busy in the day making it hard to turn left out of the property.

Short driving distance to shopping/ and restaurants and other amenities in the area, good proximity to the water and lovely view; the updated exterior and interior design, free cappuccino maker in the lobby and pet friendly. We loved the black-out blinds and the comfortable linen. Also really enjoyed the rain fall shower head.

The sliding glass door was needing an update as it was significantly aged and there was a build up of condensation and dirt in between the double pane windows, which also affected the view. The shower floor was a bit slippery.

room seemed to have been renovated not that long ago with taste and bed was very comfortable. We especially liked the bathroom.

Unfortunately the only road between the ferry and Sechelt passed between the hotel and the sea and there was a lot of traffic during the day but it was calm at night and we left the window open and could hear the sound of the waves.
