Location is super convenient if you're here for a Royal Jubilee Hospital visit - it's a 5 minute, very straightforward drive. Breakfast was amazing - fruit and yogurt and cheese scones for starters, then a main course of french toast and fruit and sausage - couldn't even finish it. We had two rooms - the Garden Suite on the main floor with its own private entrance and gigantic bath tub (but no shower) and the Victorian Suite which was a very large bright room with amazing antique furnishings. The staff were super friendly and helpful - my parents forgot their phone charger in their room and they offered to mail it back to them.

The breakfast was delicious and Amy was a most gracious hostess. Very enjoyable. We liked the garden area and outdoor seating and also the ease of parking. We appreciated the immediate welcome when we arrived thanks to our onsite host Serena (not having to hunt for keys etc in an unfamiliar environment). Absolutely wonderful breakfasts made by Amy.

Can't think of anything that could have been better (except for the bacon at breakfast which was a little fatty as we like crispy). Maybe a history of the house in a pretty clear folder would be appreciated. The literature on display was fine I didn't like to touch it as it looked a bit fragile. No big deal.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed 2 nights in a different room each of the nights. May have to revisit to try out some of the other rooms! Both had comfy queen size beds. This is a very well-maintained Victorian mansion. The vintage decor was fun. Breakfast was awesome. 3 generous courses each morning served in the beautiful dining room. Our host Amy made our visit extra special with her pleasant demeanor and great suggestions for dining and such. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Victoria!

This was not an issue for us, but guests should be aware that there are lots of stairs so it might not be a good choice for those with mobility issues.

Victorian home with beautiful original woodwork and nice decor throughout the house. Our room was the Windsor room located on the last floor (53 steps from the main entrance😄) large room with sitting area, fireplace and a large soaking tub. Breakfast everyday was delicious, it was a three course breakfast meal every day. We looked forward to this every morning. Service during breakfast was amazing, Amy was always making sure we all had what we needed and we were served promptly!! Location of the Inn is great, making it easy to walk to many attractions.

House is easy to find and parking lots are in front of the house on the property. The whole house and the rooms are stunning. You will live in a victorian dream/museum. The bathroom with tub with different functions like massage streams, light, heating is more than we could ask for. Every morning from 7:30-9:45 we got a freshly made breakfast, which was served by the really friendly staff. There is a tea and coffee counter where you can enjoy both throughout the whole day and there are even cups for togo.

For me the matress was to soft and sagged but my for friend it was just fine. The carpend needs a little deep clean.

The bed was great, the breakfast was awesome, it was quite when we were there .the heritage building is quite beautiful. Location was handy for us.

The building while beautiful is in need of some repair and refreshing, which maybe on going as there were workers there when we arrived. The seating in our room was a bare wood bench and hard chair some cushions would make it much better.the carpet in our room was badly stained.also the fireplace was not working unless there is a trick to it which we were not shown.

This place is stunning, I assume it’s heritage protected. All the finishings seem original, and eating in the dining area feels like you’re transported back in time. The service is absolutely exceptional too. I forgot to ask her name, but the lovely girl at the front desk oversaw our breakfast service flawlessly on day 1. And, when we told her not to worry about preparing food for us on day 2 as we had an early ferry, she took it upon herself to have our breakfast prepared early and kept in our room’s mini fridge. She was so lovely, and she made our stay even better.

Nothing of note, it is a bit of a drive to get into town but only 10 mins or so

The Hotel is small and cosy, and situated in a quiet neighbourhood, yet not too far away (5' drive) from downtown Victoria. The rooms are not very big, but good enough, and they are beuatifully decorated. The house itself and the breakfast room are beautiful and in Victorian style: a real experience, which guarantees a unique setting. Excellent and original breakfast, served at your table !

No elevator, to bring heavy suitcases to the third floor is kinf of an excercise :-)

This bed and breakfast is in a stunning old building with a lot of charm and beauty that lives up to the pictures we saw in advance. The 3 course breakfast was excellent and slightly different each of the 3 mornings we stayed. The breakfast room was authentically decorated to fit the historical period (as were the sitting rooms, etc.). The bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with a fireplace. The hostess was accommodating when available. Our room was up 3 flights of stairs so a caution would be to request a lower room if stairs are difficult, as, being an older facility, it is not equipped with an elevator. While the hostess was very visible in the morning, we found her difficult to contact on our one request later in the day (not sure if this is a regular thing or not). We felt that there could have been more printed information in the room to assist guests unfamiliar with the facility and neighborhood. We did find the facility a bit pricy for the shoulder season. Overall, we enjoyed our stay especially the the authentic decor, comfortable bed, and exceptional breakfast.

It is a very cool old house to say in. Lots intricate wood work and 12ft ceilings. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are clean and full of cool old furniture.

It a very cool old house to say in. The room is warm enough when you turn up the heat but the common areas (like breakfast area) are a bit cool so bring a sweatshirt down to breakfast. Not an issue for me - but you will have to bring you luggage up 2 or 3 flights of stairs to your room. Many rooms do not have a desk so if you want to work on a laptop make sure you book a room with a desk.
