the plumbing and the walls were very thin so when you went to the bathroom or had a shower, it was very loud. We heard neighbours and they heard us! We could hear the next door's TV clearly and although they did turn it down on request, we could still hear everything. The market on Yates had everything you could possibly need and it ws only about 15 minutes walk away.

Located in downtown, just a few minutes walking to main attractions like Legistative Assembly, Parks, Museums. It's also surrounded by many good restaurants and convenient stores. Our room is toward a quite garden of the Inn, having a lot of lights, and spacious enough for our family of 4. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. Paid indoor parking is convenient and secured. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Noise isolation is bad, we can hear people talking in the next room, and even hearing noise from the room across the hallway. Not a big problem to me but to consider if you need absolutely quiet to sleep. Daily room cleaning is not available due to shortage of staffs.

Front desk staff/management very good arriving and departing. Room size was adequate for a short stay. Cleanliness was all around very good. The location was excellent in regards to closeness for our medical appointment and the selection of dining facilities in the area.

Our room overlooking Courtney St was not comfortable for sleeping. The room temperature was not comfortable for sleeping. The thermostat was not effective for cooling, and with the windows open for fresh air, the noise of the working trucks in the very, very early morning was terrible.

Very comfortable bed, clean room, kitchenette fully equipped! Stuff at the reception was very nice too and I appreciate that a lot! I can’t stand arrogant staff! Parking was available at a very reasonable price! I’d stay there again but in a different room 😊bonus for a laundry room! Basically, we got it all at this hotel!

No A/C (luckily we didn’t need it),room with no window, very bad view - roof! Birds on the roof all the time, not able to sleep … I never requested a quiet room , I requested a room with 2 beds and kitchenette as I reserved,I didn’t know that the noise would be an issue. Gym was too small, swimming pool too!

Good price for location. The staff were really kind and helpful. We felt welcome travelling with a dog and a baby. They were accommodating and the rules were clear.

We had 2 rooms. In the 3rd floor, we didn't have any problems of noise other than the noise when shutting down the next room door could be heard. However, the room on the 2nd floor had a lot of noise from above and next room door.

Beds are to the firmer side even though they have a topper. Therefore, best hotel sleep i have had in a while. Also, they have normal pillows that can condense to a comfortable thickness.

The guests in the room above us were unbelievably noisy - a kids soccer team i think. And Friday late night people partying in the street was crappy. However, closing the window helped enormously.

We were attending a show at the Royal Theatre across the street the night of our arrival. Although our vehicle wouldn't fit in the underground parking the front desk clerk let us park by their front office. He was great and the location was perfect for walking around downtown.

The bed was a little small and the pillows weren't very comfortable. We didn't get much sleep as the neighbours above us on the third floor were terribly noisy.

Front desk was very nice and was able to get us into a better room with our toddler and older dog. Gave good tips for the area. Housekeeping was attentive and gave us extra towels without having to service our room per our request since we had a dog in the room. Loved that they were so close to everything in Victoria, Smith’s Pub is right downstairs so it was great to grab a late dinner and go back to our room. The pub’s patio was also great for a nice lunch: family and dog friendly patio! Loved that they had an indoor pool to swim in. Loved the soaking tub! And also loved that the balcony was just over the patio.

Parking gets full fast, not enough space for all guests. Pool could use a good clean. Walls and doors are thin so you can hear people stomping and slamming doors all night. Wish they had the quieter close doors. Was a tad difficult with a baby having other peoples door slamming shut.
