Super 8 by Wyndham Brockville

Spent a weekend there and booked 2 rooms for 5 people. When inside the room, I wouldn't think that I was at a motel. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfy, and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast had coffee, tea, fruit juices, toasts, bagels, fresh waffles with syrup, a few cereals, yogurt, and boiled eggs. And they gave take out boxes. Simple but good. The lady was nice and caring. Didn't hear any noise from the traffic despite being so close to the road. They accommodated an early check-in and late check-out. The smaller room had 1 king size bed and the more spacious family room had 2 queen size beds and a pull out couch. For the quality and service, it was a bargain. Would definitely recommend.

The bathroom was a bit on the older side, and the shower made a screeching noise from time to time when the water was running. In the family room, the TV was at a weird angle, and the table was smaller than in the smaller room with the king size bed.

was surprised by how small the hotel was at first. it was more like a motel. once we got into the room we could see that it was clean . didn’t realize there would be only one bed but the king size was just fine. the bed , duvet and pillows were incredibly comfy. the shower was great also. no comparison at all to a much more expensive hotel that we stayed in last time. the English lady who ran the breakfast area was wonderful!

We had to park at another spot because a bunch of people had their chairs set out and were gathered, doing BBQ at our parking spot at nighttime when we checked in. Because of this, the hotel manager knocked at our door at 7 in the morning to ask why we're parked there. Maybe be more aware of what goes on in your hotel parking area late at night 🙄

Room was very clean and comfortable breakfast was really good and the lady who runs the front desk is the sweetest woman ever! We already want to go back our first morning here they ran out of hot chocolate and the lady from the front went and found more for my daughter she was so happy about that. It's the little things they do that make it such a nice place

The ac could work a bit better but other than that. Loved it

Nice old motel-style hotel with all that we need for 1 night stay. The breakfast was good, pretty standard, but I liked the waffle maker. The swimming pool is nice, it works till 9pm, so even after coming in there evening we had time to get in.

The property is pretty old, it can be updated. People are smoking just in front of their doors, so there is no chance to go to the room without smell of cigarettes.

The location was perfect for us! It is in a quiet area of town, 1 km from Historic Downtown. The St Lawrence is very close by. The main office was welcoming and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. We liked that we could park right outside our room. It had a microwave, mini fridge, desk and 2 chairs. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We stayed a few nights. Check in and check out was quick and easy. They also kept the area clear of ice and snow. It was extremely cold when we arrived and it was snowing considerably the day we left! Was wonderful to have the parking lot cleared early that morning before heading home.

We didn't get to eat in their dining area. It was closed because of restrictions. It looked like a bright and inviting area. Perhaps next time! ;) There isn't anything I can think of that I didn't like.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The room was a nice size and was clean. Location wise you definitely needed a car to get around to see places. Nice little town around 25 mins walk away and some beautiful scenery. Breakfast each morning was fine. Waffles, fruit, toats, porridge, cereal. Something for everyone.

Staff and location were excellent. Bed was a bit hard. New paint job would have been enhanced by attention to detail under the bathroom sink and around the mirror. Milk pods to put in the fridge would have been bonus.

Had thought there was daily maid service. Perhaps I failed to find the "make up room" sign. The coffee whitener was pretty bad! Took me some time to figure out the two remotes for the TV.

The room was comfortable and the shower was hot :) Also, we enjoyed our breakfast choices as well as the hours that it was offered. We were greeted by all staff members that we met and we loved the proximity to the River.

We would recommend that you have your sign our front "lit up" as we drove past it because it was dark and didn't see it.

We were extremely happy to see that our request for the quiet room with a river view was accommodated. We were placed in a very private corner which also had a space to walk our dog. Moreover, hotel staff allowed us to do late check in without any additional charges. We are very grateful

The only little disadvantage we found was the space between the floor and the door from our room to outside. It was cold.
