What a friendly, beautifully situated motel! The owners have run their family business for many years now. They were very welcoming and kindly gave us a room with a stunning view of the river, islands, and their long garden that slopes down to a jetty. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed on Canada Day and enjoyed sitting out by a log fire lit under the moon and stars after returning from a characterful, delicious supper at a local family run harbour front diner they recommended A sound night's sleep. The property was originally built some years back, and in many ways, it felt like returning home to a childhood home.....charming , cosy, reassuring, not modern bland and ubiquitous.....a lovely last night of our holiday.

I couldn't work out how to use the coffee maker in our room to make tea...- but that's something do do with being English I think! Putting the kettle on and making tea on getting home or up is an English thing........

The rooms look old, but have all that is needed and are tastefully decorated. There is a garden/outdoor area sloping down to the river that is very well-maintained and has some charming figurines spread around. The unused swimming pool is very decrepit, but is off on the side and so not really an eye sore. The owners were nice and pleasant to deal with. The location is excellent - close to the highway and various amenities, but at the same time quiet and with fresh air. For the price I paid, certainly was worth staying and is recommended

There was a dry dead beetle in one of the beds (which is strange, since the sheets smelled and looked fresh) and some of the surfaces were not cleaned in a while. The sink drains fairly slowly and would benefit from a round or two with a plunger. To be clear, the place was not disgusting or anything like that, but taking the cleaning up a notch would bump it to a 9/10 or 10/10 easily

I hate to admit it but my expectations were low.. and yet I was very pleasantly surprised. I needed an inexpensive motel for one night until the Garage down the road opened the next morning (flat tire). The rate was more than reasonable and I expected a much more modest offering. The room was exceedingly clean and in a very good state of repair. The bed was comfortable and had several types of pillows. But the best part was meeting the Seguins who own the motel. For a couple who were disturbed rather late at night, they made me feel very welcome indeed and were friendly and courteous. For a motel, this place was great!

Rooms are clean and they come in everyday to replace dirty towels and collect garbage. Also the view is amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back when we come to the area again. We have already told our family and friends about this place.

The only suggestion I would have is to maybe clean the table and benches down on the dock, other than that the place was very nice.

This place was spotless! And super comfortable and warm and nice. Slept really good. Even though we arrived after the staff had left they came out and checked us in and everything was very nice and owner was very accommodating, will definitely visit again! Free wifi, free parking, free couples advice on the night stand lol Cheers from the guys arriving at 2am and waking you up!

They should update their online presence and update fotos. Pics are really old but rooms look nothing like that they are better!

Very clean and even had a table and chairs to sit at! Loved the microwave and fridge. The room was very quiet and overlooked the lake had ac but with the window open and lovely fresh air coming in didn't need it. Will definitely stay here again. It is " a million dollar view" for sure.

Nothing loved everything!

The location is a little difficult to find but when you get to it was a beautiful property right on the water. Lovely gazebo, swings, walk to dock on the water. Unit was a bit small but clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Definitely good value for the price. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The owners were a lovely couple who really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. We've never stayed in a quieter facility. Don't stay in your room because the property is beautiful.... right on the St. Lawrence River!

The motel was dated, but very clean.

The owners were very nice and considerate. For example we arrived late and she had already turned on the air conditioning so our room was comfortable when we arrived. There was a lovely area behind the hotel too.

Great motel experience! Very comfortable bed, very clean and quiet room, & very friendly owners. I would definitely stay here again. It is a beautiful property with an amazing waterfront view. The dock is a great place for coffee in the morning. The room had a fridge, microwave & coffee maker. We were in town for a wedding & this room was all we needed at a reasonable price.
